Hi you all!! It´s been a while since I last posted in the forum... I've been having a great time I think mostly because I have been using the LOA conciously ::grapevine ... but that´s not what i want to talk about now.

I wanted to hear from you Abers examples of 'better feeling thoughts'... I would love if you could give some context of the situation and the best (or relief) feeling thought you had.

Sometimes I just need an example, and with it, I can see a hole new world of posibilities...

For example I used to be jealous of a friend... and it meant a big deal of insecurity in my life... what I did to get over it was identify my emotion in the EGS and then elaborated thoughts with higher emotions from the EGS.

Sometimes i do it like if in a piano i were playing all consecutive notes... I start from the note/emotion I am and then play them all up... I go through all the higher emotions in the EGS until the top... woow... it has worked for me!!

I have just started applying the abe teachings consciously day to day and my aim always,every moment is 'nothing absolutely NOTHING is more important than that i feel better'.
My desire is to manifest a good,healthy relationship but some days back i was not in alignment as it was the contrast which bothered me and i was constantly looking for an outcome,some positive result but not anymore.When i feel something that my partner is saying or doing is getting me low on the EGS i leave or do whatever that i feel like at that moment even if it means releasing anger,even if that causes him to create more contrast on my behaviour (i usually slam the door when i leave-i.e in a situation when i'd want to ..that is the max. i do,im usually a calm person.)
So my desire is changed.....my desire is to become a stronger,calmer person and take the responsibility of my ow feelings.Do whatever it takes to find a 'relief' even if it sounds sooo unlike me,even if the world is shocked,i have to be selfish,listen to my IB which would only happen if im at peace.
so i guess the ultimate thought is
'how did i feel in the last one hour when i was doing something for him,did the interaction affected my emotions?
'now what are the good things tht feel a bit downstream about that incidence or something i can appreciate in my partner'

its a p owerful feeling to know that you stand like a very strong tree in any natural calamities and you also spread only good vibrations.now you have the power to turn bad things into good and reflect them back

Hey Diego...the last few days I have had a sore lower back...At first I found myself thinking about how much it sucks.  A better feeling thought for me has been thinking about how strong and healthy my back usually is between these few and far between aches and pains that I experience.

It's pretty easy to reach for a better feeling thought, because you are dropping the oars and going downstream.  ::downstream I think if you are trying too hard to reach for the thought, you are actually going upstream again.

Hi Diego:

Abraham says a belief is simply a chronic thought. 

I knew a while ago it would be important for me to come up with BOLD all encompassing better feeling thoughts that could be true for me no matter what.

I started applying them to everything that happened to me 24/7 until they became chronic thoughts.

Now, I know that I know them with every fiber of my being.  When I think them now, I feel strong and jump right back into the vortex. 

1.  I know I am a powerful spiritual being here on earth for the joyful experience of expanding and co-creating.

2.  I know I attract everything that happens to me and every person that crosses my path. Every experience in my life is about me, for me, and is in my best interest. 

2.  I know I always get EVERYTHING I want and need easily and as soon as I express the desire for it. It always manifests at the exactly the right time. 

3.  I know
no matter what, that I am Love and am loved by my Source/the Universe/God/Higher Power.

3.  I know, no matter what, my family and I are always safe and ALL IS WELL.

Hii... I had not seen this thread in a while. And I have recently got one answer to my own question... and so this thread, and of course wanted to share it.

I have been applying better feeling thought lately... on site. Whenever i dont feel good and/or when im aware of it, i immediatly start to think of what i would want of the situation.

It's no easy to describe and i don't always do the same kind of "feeling better"... i just know it doesnt have to do with the person "making me" have a bad time... its about that i have that expectation that makes the event happen.

In other words... my expectations/wantings is what i have to change, not push against the situation. Sometimes it involves talking about the subject, but it goes better after i have changed my expectation... otherwise i end pushing against the bad situation and making it bigger.

...it's all about my thinking/my expectations... and that's the place to start to do better
