Hello Abers, i asked this question to the admin team and David suggested i open it up to everyone. So here it is:
I have been meditating for three months and during my meditation sessions i have sometimes been thinking some disturbing thoughts about horrible things happening in my life. I am really concerned that this is my inner being trying to communicate to me and tell me that these things are about to happen. Do you think that this is the case or is it just my mind trying to make me worry???? (which it does. My mind always tries to put negative thoughts in my head)
I really appreciate your help. This has really, really been bugging me and it will be nice to have peace of mind over this.
Thank you to all of you out there.

I think it is nothing more than habitual thinking and FEAR. Life has taught you that bad things happen?
Your Inner Being would never put those thoughts in your head ever! They are only pure of mind thinking, it's not possible.
Are you out of alignment, not is the Vortex before you meditate and trying to get in the Vortex during??

| The mind does not like it when you try to set it aside or ignore it to try to mediate, lol. I think it is your own mind playing a trick on you so you can stay tuned to it. Once you are able to acknowledge that and pass through it, with perseverance, you will do great.

As Abraham says, your inner being will always communicate to you that well being abounds, and that all is well for you. And as Abraham said in the alaskan cruise in 2005 using the gps analogy, the negative emotions or fear, is your Magellan (inner being) reminding you to 'return to the highlighted route.'
Furthermore, if you listen to Abraham enough, warnings from your inner being will come as what feels as the 'next logical step' or inspirations, which doesn't seem to be what is happening to you.

| When this type of thing happens to me, I remind myself that the truth feels good. . . anything that source tells me would feel good, would bring me higher.

When you're meditating hum a note and hold it (maintaining the pitch and tone as best as you can) for 15 minutes. Your mind can't wander when you're focusing on simply maintaining a note.

Do not try to get rid of those thoughts. Instead, transform them into joyful thoughts. Trying to get rid of negative thoughts is excluding and makes you feel resistance. Universe is about including.
Infuse them with the meaning you prefer.

You are at the stage of beginning to understand the difference between the outer physical you and the Inner Being YOU. The kicker is that they are both YoU. Being focused in the physical it is a challenge to tell the difference. But, that is why we have emotions. As Abraham points out, emotions are our connection to Source. Emotions that feel good are indicators that we are thinking thoughts that are in harmony with our Inner Being self. Emotions that feel 'off' or negative are indicators that we are thinking thoughts that are out of harmony with our IB self.
I was meditating once, sitting there all peaceful and happy and a wolf came out of the darkness charging me at full speed, barking growling snarling. I watched it and knew immediately that it was as an aspect of my conscious physical mind trying to attack me, much like doubt, fear or guilt can attack me. As it got really close I, mentally, shouted as loud as I could, "Stop it!" The wolf froze in its tracks, skidded to a stop right in front of me, tucked it's tail between its legs and sulked off out of sight.
You control your meditations just like you control your everyday waking life. You decide which thoughts feel good and those that do not. You emphasize what feels good and send away that which does not.

I think you may have picked up on thoughts other people have thought. Abraham say that thoughts continue to exist independently of the thinker.
That’s how I understand the Akashic Records.
It’s always your choice to focus on them (and attract more similar thoughts) or shift your attention without resisting them. Like the buffet with all the ingredients you get to pick for your pie.
At least that is my take on it.
