To me, nothing is more deeply satisfying than to see the forum and Yahoogroup bippin' along.

I may be the only one, but I am all for it!

Don't get me wrong, the current forum is a wonderful playground and I love it and everyone here.

But, wouldn't it be nice to start fresh.  After all, everything written before this moment, now, is "old news".  Yes, it is great news, but "old news".

We are creators and can create a great new forum.  We can all align to the new opportunity.

To me, transferring everything is like holding on to beliefs that no longer serve the expanded beings we claim to be.

Not transferring is spelled R E L I E F!!!!

Just sayin'!

Love you David.

Hi Autumn,

I have been studying the material about 2 years.
The forum as it is now, is a vast place to continue learning.
To study, and fall more into alignment.
For some of us, these resources are priceless.

I'm so grateful to you David, for all of your hard work,
on our behalf.

I'm so appreciative, all the material is going to the new site.
(i will miss the user friendliness of this one.:beautiful: )

David, thanks again.

Love your new photo,
been meaning to tell you.::woohoo

Much love, Cindy::TU

Well, we can either wait until everything is perfectly transferred and ready before we align with it or

we can start fresh and align with that.

The first, may take a while, a long time, we don't know and may involve down forum time which no one likes. . .

The second starts now, with no delay.::woohoo

WE are the resources.  Nothing will be lost because we will be taking us with us.  We have all the solutions.  They are not hidden in words from the past.

And then Evey won't have to spend time deleting her PM's.

Just think of all the fun we could have expanding with a fresh new forum.  Sweeeeet!

Just my thoughts!  Just sayin'

I can see the merit of making a completely fresh start on the new forum. But personally I feel very appreciative about David's plan to migrate the older threads. There are often cross-links when older posts are relevant and helpful, and I think many, many people - especially people not quite secure on their Abraham path - can still benefit from reading through older material. The Hall of Fame posts are great, but they don't cover nearly everything. I know we're not supposed to give a rip about others, but I am still so absolutely grateful for the helpful orientation I found here and can imagine that others new to the material would be, too. When you're new to this thinking and perhaps fairly low on the EGS, "Get into the Vortex!" is not really helpful. :) And, besides, it's just so much easier to refer someone to an older thread or the search function than write out the umpteenth answer to "Where's my stuff????" ::LOL.

David, whatever you decide, :allgood. You are an absolute star with all you do for us here and on the new forum! ::TU:kiss:

I had never thought that NOT bringing in all the data to the new forum was a remote possiblity.  But you guys are amazing.  Must be all that Abraham inspiration you have going on in ya. :)

The thought of not transferring all the posts has me thinking.  ::chin  It feels like moving into a new house with all your stuff (like Molly asked) in your old house.

I like the idea of having all the resources in one place including log on data for all the members, PM's, avatars and all the other stuff you would all have to set up again if this was not done.  So unless moving all the stuff is not possible, I will be doing another move soon, like in a few days. The last resort would be to move into a home without any stuff.

Thanks for the out-of-the-box thinking, though!

Gosh!  And I thought I was in the Vortex only to find out I was out of the box.

::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL

Just kidding, David!

Whatever works out, it is all good!

Much love and appreciation,
Barbara

I know  you can do it David.

There is a lot of love and a lot of solutions to many questions in the existing forum.

As those of us who have been there for a while progress we are not in the same place as some of the newer people who find this wonderful site and our older posts might speak more clearly to them than ones we would make today.

I love the idea of leaving a trail ... I may be too far along to even see someone new coming along but the posts I made when I was closer to where they are can speak to them.

If the old forum was on a stable platform that we could be assured would remain available and could be cross-referenced the fresh start might be nice but it isn't and it just feels like there is so much value there.  I also don't like that everyone would have to sign up again and get their names again ...
