This is to inform you that you have been selected for a cash prize of £800,000 (Eight Hundred Thousand (British Pounds) in the just concluded annual final draws of UNITED KINGDOM NATIONAL LOTTERY programs held on the 16th of August,2010 in London UK. The online cyber lotto draws was conducted from an exclusive list of 250,000 e-mail addresses of individual and corporate bodies picked by an advanced automated random computer search from the internet, no tickets were sold. After this automated computer ballot, your e-mail address emerged as one of two winners in the category "D" with the following winning information:

And now i don't know what to do with it..:?:?:?:?:?coz i don't really know if it's true or not.. Oh well on Abraham's side i guess it doesn't really matter right? I still win the lottery!! i think this is pre-paving for a really really monetary gift from universe. hmnnn what do you think guys??

joanna

is there a phone # on this thing?  If you really did win, there should be a way to talk to a real person.

Maybe call an authority to see if they have heard of this lottery or if it is a hoax?

it would give you relief, I think.

Joanna,

Is there a way for you to contact them, before giving them all that information through an email?

I was just looking over my Arkansas raffle ticket, and signed it, before coming to the forum.  Your thread is the first I see.  Last night I watched TLC's "Lottery Changed My Life."  One man had won.  The clerk used his ticket, and skipped town.  The man hadn't signed the ticket when he turned it in.  So, I'm making sure I've signed mine from now on.

I'm hopeful with this driftwood.

Hi Joanna!

I am a virtual billionaire thanks to these fake lottery e-mails alone, not to mention all the African ministers who want me to help them smuggle money out of their country and childless, soon-to-die-of-cancer wealthy widows wanting me to manage their vast estates for huge compensation. ::LOL It's up to you, but I wouldn't send my info. But there is a fun way of dealing with this spam played with on this thread:

In abe's world even spam is useful!

Hope you have fun!

I would use this as a game.  Add how much you "won" and make a list of all the things you would do with that money as if you really had won.  Sounds like fun!!

There is a website, from which i ordered 10-$1,000,000 bills.
The white envelope says, 'it's a gift from the universe."
The bills look just like real cash, only its a $1,000,000 bill.
The bills state the money is from the 'Bank of the Universe".

I have so much fun, spreading out my $10,000,000.
And thinking and knowing exactly what i'd do with it!
Having a realistic visual is very helpful.

It's a scam, honey, I really wouldn't contact them at all...

If you didn't buy a lottery ticket then you didn't win the lottery (think about it... the prize money in lotteries comes from all those bought tickets.) (besides which, if it was a UK lottery/prize draw, they'd use UK English spelling, not US English spelling!)

However, I would definitely milk the feeling of winning the money, play at spending it every day.... until you really do receive that amount of money (from a lottery or any other route!)

Wishing you abundance,

Rach

It's a total scam. The UK lottery is for UK residents only, and they certainly don't contact random people who haven't bought a ticket or do email draws (or use free live.com email addresses either lol). These people are often trying to steal your identity, or get your bank details for dodgy ends.

Good opportunity to visualise what you'd do wth real winnings though :)

I have received such things as well they are usually scams. This one seems to follow suit with the rest of scams: they don't address you by name, say you win things you never signed up to win, need information from you and sometimes money to "process" your winnings.....

On a brighter note, this may be driftwood of coming abundance, but I doubt that this particular thing is it.
