Trip report continued -
**Downstream with a Splash!**
Okay, the "big day" is finally here! It's our ALL DAY at the MAGIC KINGDOM day!!!! YAY!!!
Jody: Hurry up!~ We have to be there for the park opening. It opens at 9.
David: So does it close again at 9:01? It's still the middle of the night! Mickey knows I need more sleep!
Jody: Stop kvetching. You'll thank me when there are no lines for anything.
David: We'll expand time! There is no competition and no lack!! Aren't you an Aber?
Jody: Don't try to play the Abe card on me...Abe says LIFE IS SUPPOSED TO BE FUN - and we are going to have FUN today if it croaks us! So move!
Okay, yes, dear Forum members, you are now bearing witness to the "ugly park commando" side of me. I take no prisoners. It's "theme park do or croak!"
We managed to get in the car right on schedule and as we speed toward the Magic...
Jody: Today we're going to get the picture of the Disney World welcome gate.
David: Okay, take my camera out of the bag and turn it on.
Jody: (silly Jody, thinking SHE will take a picture) I'm all set.
David: (grabbing camera, wiping windshield with hand, and driving all at once) No I'll get it.
Jody: But you're driving.
David: What's your point?
Jody: ...Are we there yet?
Arrival at Transportation and Ticket Center is on the minute. The ferry boat ride to MK was MAGICAL and we were at the rope drop for Big Thunder Mountain just as I had planned on my commando schedule. Okay, forum members I won't give you the minute by minute...that would be boring - suffice it to say here that we peeled off the rides in record time and a great time was had... including breakfast with the Pooh characters.. and you can bet I will be ignoring David's plea not to post the picture of him with Eeyore! So cute!!!
I could write all night (I'm not kidding) about how Abe-like WDW is, and how every attraction reminds you to wish a wish, dream a dream, have a vision, and BELIEVE!!! And the magic, oh, the magic! Sometimes during the narration of certain attractions I actually think I hear Esther's voice speaking for Abraham! It's that strong. We went to "Carousel of Progress". It's not one of the headliners, but it's cute, and I LOVE the theme song:
"There's a great big beautiful tomorrow, shining at the end of every day.
There's a great big beautiful tomorrow - and tomorrow is just a dream away!"
Okay, so after that Abe-ful interlude we are all full of optimistic good feeling and high vibes, and over we go to Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin ( I think).
So... remember David saying that Abe says there is NO COMPETITION???? Well, yah, I remember it too... but you see... that was BEFORE David was introduced to the Buzz
ride. Suddenly... competition abounds! Oh yeah! We rode this 4 times and for those of you who don't know, you shoot laser beams at targets and get points.
Obviously David got a gazillion points and I got - fewer. We are VERY proud that our intrepid Abe Forum administrator is an ace laser shooter. Agreed?
Really, it's very impressive. Seriously.

Time to co-create something really hilarious! Hilarious is downstream!!!
So we went to Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor. And get ready - Rocknrollgoddess actually recommended this attraction and said we might end up in the "hot seat" and - WE DID! Both of us! OMG... First they put David's face up on the video screen with the caption: "Feels like getting up and dancing". Then they played some music and, yes, I'm not kidding here, David got up and shook his .... I'm NOT kidding!!!! Later on in the show, they zoomed in on ME and brought a microphone!! I was asked to say "knock knock"... and when the MC said "who's there", do you think a SINGLE knock knock joke came into my brain!???? Of course not! Oy. Co-creation at it's.... well... not its "best". But it was FUN, and we walked out of that show laughing hysterically.
Okay everybody, I promise I'm almost done here.. but I HAVE to tell you about our DOWNSTREAM WITH A SPLASH experience. David was "not sure" that he wanted
to ride Splash Mountain, citing the possibility of getting wet as his "reason". We stood and watched boat after boat of very happy people hit the water at the end of the big "drop", and yes, a lot of them were wet, but ALL of them were smiling, and in the end it was the smiling that brought David around. You gotta love the way David is a vibrational match for smiling.

So... we did ride Splash Mountain! THe songs "good enough sure as your born" and "zippity do da" replaced "great big beautiful tomorrow" in the tape player in my head...
What great up-vibe songs!!! And downstream we did go... with a big splash.. and that was our last ride of the day and we are STILL flowing downstream at a good and wonderful pace. aaaaahhhhhh feels good not to have any oars!!
This is getting long... so that'll be it for today. Well, maybe just one picture... (below) Lots more pictures later from David - including the FULL MOON over the castle.... aaaaaahhhhhh!
Tomorrow we head to MGM studios to catch the car stunt show and the Walt Disney "One Man's Dream" exhibit. STay tuned for the next *not* off-topic trip report!
Thank you Alex and Alix for "watching" the Forum, and thank you ALL of the Forum members for being so wonderful and having such inspiring discussions - we love you!
Love and More Love

Jody, I love these pictures!
I'm a big Pooh fan (since I got my first "Poohbear" when I was 14 months old) and I certainly love Tigger, too! And you both are so cute!
I'm looking forward for more reports and more pictures!
Love, GG
P.S. Can you tell me how to explain my grumpy teammates why I'm smiling and humming now?!

Elle, Gabby,GG, and Anni, thank you for your appreciation of the reports. They are a joy to write because retelling something that has a wonderful vibration holds me right in that vibration. Buenas Dias,
Thank you for posting these delicious notes! It is the first thing I search for each day!
I do motivational speaking, and I always include the story of Walt Disney. I look forward to hearing more details on him...smile
One of my favorite stories .....
By the time disney opened, Walt had died. The day of the grand opening a reporter was interviewing Roy, Walt's brother. He said to Roy....too bad your brother isn't here to see this day.....Roy responded with a confident knowing...."My brother saw it first (pointed finger to his mind) and that is why you are here today!"
The mind is so powerful....Walt had a vision and went to over 300 bankers before he could find someone to invest.
Jody I read this in a book, from Tony Robbins. Do they share the same details there?
Thanks for bringing the magic to us,...I am so in love!!!

This is the inspiration I wanted today. I am buzzing...!
