Well, we're back from the Magic. But the really wonderful part is, we never really leave the magic! ::fairies It's right there all around and within us, and while we may not always access it as readily as Walt Disney did, all it takes is the awareness that we CAN, and a willingness to drop the oars, and then as RocknRollGoddess reminded me, we LIVE in the "Magic Kingdom".
I did intend at first to write daily trip reports, but those of you who followed them know that after day 4 at Disney I sort of let that drop. The desire to truly rest after the days in the parks took over, and I just flowed with that.
I left off the reporting with the day we visited Disney MGM Studios. Of course we saw that car stunt show- I could not let David miss that one, and it was great. The real jewel, for me, though, was the Walt Disney - One Man's Dream exhibit.
This is sort of a museum tribute to Walt and his life and creations. Of course like any museum there are artifacts, such as Walt's actual 2nd grade desk, etc. But these are not what are meaningful to me. I am more drawn to what he SAID, and the many many quotes that are show-cased there all sound JUST LIKE ABRAHAM to me!
And I was drawn like a magnet to the many photos of Walt Disney "in action" - often with a pointer in his hand as he briefed staff about what was to come.
Walts face always seemed to be "shining" or "beaming". You could just see that his "work" was his JOY,and he could no sooner help "working" than breathing. His "creating" was natural and flowed out of his vision and his desire.::fairies
I could go on and on, but of course this is not the Walt Disney Forum after all! I do have to repeat once more though, that I am SURE Walt is of the "Abe energy" - he may never have heard the term Law of Attraction, but that did not matter a bit since he was LIVING the Law of Allowing.
We had lunch at the Sci Fi Dine-In - my surprise for David, and he ate it up (yah, the food too). If any of you are old enough to remember the drive in movies, this restaurant is like sitting right in one of them. Yup, in your CAR - your 57 Chevy to be exact! And even the sci fi flicks and newsreels you watch while you eat are authentic. Very cool.
The next day, we went back to Epcot and - we got to meet a forum member who lives in Orlando! Dawn, and her SO met us for a wonderful evening of visiting the "countries" in Epcot, and finishing up with the finale fireworks called "IllumiNations". I've been to Epcot many many times, but this was the first time it's been a mini Abraham-meet-up at the American pavillion! What a treat! Thank you Dawn! (Lightforce46)
Okay, I'll post this and later I'll write up the FINAL CHAPTER of David and Jody's GREAT DISNEY ADVENTURE!! It was at "Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party"!!!! Also, I will have lots of pictures. And... I think, yes, I do, that today is the day the pictures are "released" from David's camera! YAY!
Thanks to all of you reading about our Magical Journey.

Jody: (waking up after sleeping all the way from Georgia) Was that the Virginia border?
David: Yup, unless I was sleeping too.
Jody: ..All good things come to an end.
David: That's not a very Abe thing to say...
Jody: Look, the leaves are changing here already!
David: They are at their peak colors in Vermont...
Jody: So... let's go to Vermont!
David: Okay - if we keep pointing North we'll be there in 9 hours.
Jody: Let's just stop and make reservations up there.
David: For a flight too... no more driving for a while.
Jody and David: So Forum members... we'll leave you guessing... are the intrepid Forum administrators
on their way to Vermont? (the site of previous trips in other seasons that they have LOVED...) We'll let you mull
that over...
Jody and David: Are we there yet?
