HI Everyone, there are a few more things from my Mexico cruise notes that I want to share. We are so blessed to have attracted this information. Thank you Abraham for your answers (and I know they thank US for our asking!)...
Notes on Notes:
Where quotation marks appear I am as certain as I can be that I was able to transcribe Abraham's words exactly into my notes. Where there are no quotations, consider it my paraphrasing of what I heard them say.- J.
1. Guest on hotseat tells Abraham that she has written a book and is trying to find a publisher. Her agent seems to have dropped the ball, or maybe never truly picked it up. Seems the agent hasn't even READ the manuscript! I expected Abraham to say well, have you thought about replacing the Agent, but I should have known better - of course they turned the conversation to VIBRATION and EXPECTATION. They told this author that she is seeing the process as a series of "hoops you have to jump through". You have to EXPECT it to be published for it to happen. The guest said, well, she DID expect it to be published...yet it seemed stuck. Abraham gently told her that NOTHING happens "outside our expectation", so that while she may think she is in the vibration of "expectation", the manifestational circumstances indicate that in fact she is closer to "frustration". If she can find the resistant thought and change it, she can get into expectation....
"You have your own direct source energy - leave everybody else out of your equation". (presumably this meant including the agent)
This guest called her book a work of "spiritual fiction" and claimed that it was the first in this new genre - saying that there was no other book that could be called "spiritual fiction". I immediately thought about the Sara books and wondered if Abraham would fit them into that genre, but they surprised me again:
They said "THE BIBLE is a work of spiritual fiction". "It contains stories, analogies that over time you begin to take literally"
2. A guest asked about her child who gets sick often. He suffers from asthma attacks.
Parts of Abraham's answer:
--"EVERY illness is nothing more than an indication of vibration."
--"Disease is evidence of vibration, and vibration can shift"
--"Every sickness is curable"
--"You are part of the problem when you feel protective"
--"Source knows no limitations or boundaries"
--"Your child does not need protection"
--"NEGATIVE EMOTION ALWAYS PRECEDES ILLNESS"
Then Abraham discussed Jesus and his ability to see the person's well-being to the exclusion of all else. In that undivided energy of well-being, illness simply could not exist. Jesus "zapped" the person's energy field with his own unshakeable knowledge of wellness. I think Abraham suggested that this mother try to do something similar with her son. Know him as well. Believe he is well. The mother said that she understands this and does try to do it, but that it is not working. Abraham said this is because she is not "detached" enough from the details of the "reality" of his illness. They said "see your child through the eyes of Source". [Source knows he is well even in the presence of the "reality" of the symptoms]
3. Another guest asking about chronic, non-life-threatening physical ailments. Abraham reiterated that ALL physical manifestations are indications of vibration. So where there is a chronic physical ailment, there is ALWAYS a chronic negative thought behind it.
*Chronic SERIOUS negative thought will manifest as chronic SERIOUS disease.
*Chronic little annoying thought will manifest as chronic little annoying physical ailment.
But it's ALWAYS a result of the thought, which causes the vibration, which causes an emotion to alert us, which when we ignore the emotional guidance morphs into a physical manifestation. That's our IB trying to get our attention so that we can clean up the resistant thought.
4. Along this same line of questions, in response to a guest asking about things that "come out of the blue".
Abraham's answer - while it SEEMS like the physical symptoms just appear out of the blue, before any emotional indicator, this is never the case. What actually happened is that we IGNORED the emotional guidance when it first came as a reaction to resistant thought. Pre-manifestational awareness is being aware of negative emotions while IN the emotional state. Abraham suggested "Ask to be more keenly aware when you are HAVING the resistant thought". "Ask for PRE-manifestational awareness, rather than POST-manifestational awareness, which is what the dis-ease gives you".
Another guest asked about pain in his eye. [Listening to this interchange gave me a real shift regarding my recent "chronic" jaw problem that was very small but "there" and annoying me for about a year off and on. Abraham told this guest to ask himself: What was going on just before the physical manifestation came to be? Like all of Abe's teachings, this is so simple, but absolutely key - it really helped me to get unstuck on this-J].
5. "We want you to be the selfish beings you were born to be". "Compromise, compliance, agreement, cooperation are lovely but never stop following your own signal".
6. 15 minutes of meditation is enough. Just until you feel the release of resistance.
7. Look for reasons to appreciate. Then you are seeing the world through the eyes of Source.
8. "They were born to irritate you. It's not your job to get them to stop doing what irritates you" [I don't remember what this was in reference to, but it could be anyone!]
9. Guest on hotseat says she's hitting a glass ceiling on her prosperity consciousness. She can play the prosperity game up to a point - then she runs out of things to desire to buy! Abraham asks: "When you buy something really expensive and beautiful, how do you feel? Do you feel "Nobody should spend so much on a trinket like this?" "It's wasteful"? Then Abraham points out: So what if you "need" it or not! The shopkeeper, the jeweler, the designer, etc etc etc all benefit from your desire to own this thing and we could think of 20 people at least who will have financial well-being added to their lives as a result of your purchase. These 20 people are ADDED TO by your spending. So where's the waste?
10. On the first day of the cruise workshop, Abraham went into the most amazing RAMPAGE for Martin Luther King. It brought everyone to complete silence followed by loud applause. I'm not kidding - this rampage alone is worth the price of the cruise recordings. I was too enthralled to write much but I have:
"You are doing your best"
"There are no wrong decisions"
"Don't beat yourself up"
"MLK was BORN understanding that there was better out there..."
"He gave his undivided attention to his DREAM"
"He was shot by those who did not understand"
11. Complaining holds you in the place of not allowing energy to flow.
12. Don't take action until you are lined up emotionally.
13. Even if everyone else stays exactly as they are, you won't be irritated by anything about them if YOU line up.
14. Guest asked what Esther sees when Abraham is there. They answered that to Esther, we in the audience appear to her eyes as energy. When someone gets close, Esther sees and recognizes more and is sometimes surprised to see someone she knows in the hotseat!
15. Contentment means you are a vibrational match to your desire. Desire comes out of contrast.
16. "We're surprised any of you can find anything to eat!" "Spend as much time as you will spend eating the meal coming into alignment about food." If you do this for 30 days you will see a shift.
17."Your body is your friend. It knows what to do. As long as your thoughts don't make it impossible."
18. Guest asked what about those civilizations that Abraham sometimes mentions that were more "technologically advanced" than ours? Abraham answered that what they mean by that is that those civilizations understood the power of creation using thought. The did not have PHYSICAL technology as advanced as ours, but they created as we intended to here in physical - through the power of thought. Guest also asked about findings that look like remains of buildings or structures on the moon, and on other planets. Were these really inhabited? Abraham answered that these are civilizations still waiting to be inhabited (P., my notes are scanty on this - if you are lurking, can you fill us in on what was exactly said? I remember them seeming to say that no, these planets had not been previously inhabited... but that they would be in the future???)
Abraham also answered that THIS is THE MOST LEADING EDGE ENVIRONMENT EVER. They said that our asking has brought us "out there" further than ever before. There is also more resistance now than ever though.
19. Guest on hotseat says he likes to be in an "altered state", whether that's using a substance or sleeping. He wondered if this meant he was addicted or depressed.
Abe's answer: "It's a good sign that you care how you feel." "What you are addicted to on a soul level is FEELING GOOD"
20. A belief is a dominant practiced vibration brought about by practiced thought.
And the best I saved for last:
"Your are lazy sloppy thinkers! You don't make the connection between what you are thinking and what you are manifesting. EVERYTHING is up for change. At ANY POINT, YOU CAN TELL A DIFFERENT STORY"
YOUR STORY IS YOUR VIBRATION, IT'S YOUR POINT OF ATTRACTION. YOU ARE LIVING THE STORY YOU ARE TELLING. IF YOU WANT SOMETHING TO SHIFT - TELL A DIFFERENT STORY.
"We could synthesize everything we just said to say:
"Choose good moods'"
The workshops were powerful, and I knew that sitting in the Vista lounge on board the Oosterdam off the coast of Mexico. But reading over my notes, I am struck by JUST HOW POWERFUL they were. And I only wrote a small percentage of the content. Often I was too blown away to remember to write.  Anyway, I hope there are tidbits here that will speak to you.

All I can say is  There is such awesome energy coming to me from especially this section above. I can literally FEEL it!!! Everytime I read it, and right now posting ABOUT it, I have THRILL bumps!!! I'm really meant to soak this in apparently! 
This is just an incredible feeling for me right now. To think what the actual energy in the room was, just blows me away!

The part about physical ailments really really hit home with me! I was asking this question all day. I manifested strep throat this week. I am waiting with eager anticipation of attending a workshop and or cruise this year, this is fantastic stuff!!!

Synchronicity? The timing of you posting this, Jody, is interesting. I saw it when I was coming online to post a question about children and sickness.
Last night I was watching television and saw an advertisement requesting donations for St. Jude's Hospital (children's research hospital treating children with cancer and other "catastrophic diseases"). In looking at the children. all very sick and some still just infants, I was wondering just how this happens. How do these babies, who, according to Abraham, come into our human world knowing who they are and connected to Source, come to be so devastatingly ill? Where would the "negative emotion" have come from at this tender age?
Prior to Abraham, I might have believed that the child chose to come to learn and teach the lessons associated with being a child "taken" early by disease. Now I think I understand that we don't come for lessons or teaching.

Dear Jody,
did abraham discuss Martin Luther Kings - exit from the physical world.
I wonder if for him it was that he was not vibrating and aligning with a negative experience (being shot) but for him it was a co-creation as the next logical step and a return to the non physical and he aligned with this EXIT for a number of reasons as part of his message??

Robyn, I don't remember a specific reference to that in the rampage... but I would agree with you. Since we know that time of death is always chosen by the IB, (and the way taken too I suppose), it makes perfect sense.

Jody, Thank you so VERY much for the contribution you have made with these notes!
Re Martin Luther King, I remember Abe bringing him up on the Hawaiian Cruise last year, and said that when he was speaking about his Dream, the words of Source rolled out of his mouth. And then Abe said that when he began "pushing against," and by that I assumed they meant the Vietnam War, and then at the time of his death, job discrimination, well,....then he attracted pushing against HIM, and the rest is history.
It was very powerful when Abe said that......
