Jody's Notes
Part 1

My notes are the items that stood out for me, resonated with me, and/or seemed "noteworthy" in some way.  When I use quotation marks, I am as sure as I can be that I am quoting Abraham directly and exactly.  The rest is my comments, perhaps in my own words although usually I was writing quickly to try to get it down as accurately as possible.  Some of the things Abraham talked about I did not take notes on at all. I'd find my mind wandering, or the opposite – focusing so closely that I forgot to take notes! But most of what sang to me, is here.

The workshops were especially powerful and wonderful.  But… aren't ALL Abraham workshops like that?

YOU ARE NOT A COG IN THE WHEEL
YOU ARE THE WHEEL
THE UNIVERSE IS YOU, AND REVOLVES AROUND YOU

The economy follows vibrational escrow!

Nobody has the power to deprive YOU of ANYTHING.

Any lack you are living is caused by YOU.  You are doing all of it to you, by virtue of the thoughts you think. The thoughts you think ARE UNDER YOUR CONTROL.

You can cause yourself distress, but there does not exist a "personal distress factor" that is being "beamed in at you".
YOU have control of your patterns of thought and YOU create your reality by those patterns of thought.  You are in control of your alignment with Source because you control what you think about!

"Your power of attraction is mighty when you are in alignment with Source".

"The people you know walking around the planet are more dead than the people you have buried.  They've pinched themselves off from life."

In answer to the question as to why Abraham doesn't come back into physical, they said that we (physical beings) "toasters" need electricity!

Abraham is a collective consciousness of our inner beings.

In answer to that often-asked question about why anyone would choose to come to physical with a disease or handicap, Abraham gave the analogy they sometimes use of tennis.  If you are a really good tennis player, you don't always want to play an opponent that is easy to beat.  You want the challenge of a player that puts you to the test.  It's more fun that way.

THOUGHT CREATES EMOTION.  Emotion is the guidance system that indicates what kind of thoughts we are thinking.

"Let your life inspire you, and then line up with what you've been inspired to"

"Let Passion be the goal you are reaching for".

"ALLOWING YOUR DREAMS TO COME TRUE IS BETTER THAN DEATH"

Passion is the outside swirling part of the vortex. When you get to KNOWING, you are in the center of the vortex, where it is calm.

This was a real zinger for me, Jody.  I don't remember hearing this, at least not in this way.  Thank SOURCE for those of you who take notes!!

Now that I think about it, I do remember them talking about our inner being not being singular but a collective concsiousness but I never thought of it in the way that my inner being is part of Abraham.... but OF COURSE!!!!

HOW COOL IS THAT??!!!!!  That's why Abraham answers all our questions, they are part of our inner being and our inner being is part of them!

Thanks Jody, seeing the words in print help remind me how powerful this cruise was for me. Still having to put my boat in the water where it is so I still needed the quote that "Nobody can deprive me of anything" and linking it to the inspiration/passion quotes absolutely thrill me.

Life I saw around me certainly inspired me on this cruise and my lining up could only happen by watching the contrast. Life is absolutely divine.

I'm inspired and loving watching the unfolding of this wonderful life.

Yes, this part tickled me.  The questioner asked why we have such a hard time with "death."  In fact it was the first question asked.  (The second question was about attracting a million dollars!)...Hee, hee, "death and money."  All that was missing at opening day was sex.  Maybe it was in there somewhere.....

------------------------------------------------------------

Abraham: "Because you look at it in a screwy way.  You see it as loss. If you could ask your IB, “how do you feel about this?”  You would feel true elation. "

"Little ones dance at funerals; they bring their games. They dance under the casket. 'What is it that I do that causes my distortion and departure from my broader perspective.?' You are surrounded by people who feel loss around them.  In some ways, we want to say, 'Don’t worry about it; you’ll understand when you croak.  But if you ask IB about it enough times you will come to understand.' "

"Until you have practiced yourself into alignment with the eternal nature of who you are "[you will have these screwy ideas about death].

"You cannot feel good about death until you have tuned yourself into the Source within you. "

IB [would say about the person who has transitioned]:…”That person has never been so tuned into the true nature of who he really is. As you tune yourself, you will come to know that there is no separation."

"The people who are walking around on the planet are for the most part, more dead than the ones they have buried.  Let’s put dead in proper perspective.  Dead is the gradual pinching off of life.  We get a little animated about that. In human form we would be said as dead, dead, dead, dead, dead. "

Caribbean Cruise, Monday, March 24, 2008

-----------------------------------------------------------------

A very striking point that Abraham brought out of this---and certainly not the first time they have said it!---Was that because WE are basically nonpnysical, those who have left physical, being nonphysical, are just as much here as they ever were, interacting with us, interested in all the same topics and projects that they ever were.  Those of us who get the CD's are familiar with the story of the man who owned Jerry and Esther's favorite swordfish restaurant in San Diego (that story came up again in the cruise), and how he was wanting the restaurant to improve it's entree.)

A question followed this on on "reincarnation' that was quite interesting, also.

Pat

Oh yes, Pat, my favorite part is when their dead friend says "I would do something about those potoatoes!" And Jerry had just been thinking "they are sort of lumpy..."

You just gotta love dead people.  And reminding ourselves that they are STILL HERE is so huge.

I am about to start a thread about their still being around... in this case not about a person but about a cat... but... same principle...
