Caribbean Cruise with Abraham
March 2008
Jody's Notes
Part 2
Spirit (along with personality) enters the body and focuses at the time of FIRST BREATH.
However, Source is always part of the cellular development of the physical body.
When a child (or adult) is having a nightmare or is sleepwalking or otherwise "not awake", they are not available or present to us for comforting. We can't comfort someone who is focused in non-physical. So best to WAKE THEM UP and then soothe them back into well-being.
In response to questions about "children with special needs": Abraham said nobody comes into this life being "needy". "See them as having come forth with great intention". For the most part, they live in frustration ONLY when they are being asked by us to do what they are not able to do. They did not come to do those things. They came to be less influenced by other humans and what we are doing. They came to be more "beast-like" (Abraham qualified that they really mean no disrespect in using the term "beast-like",).
When a man in the hot seat expressed regret that it had taken him until late in life to discover these truths, Abraham said: Don't regret not having closed the gap earlier. Your regret only widens the gap! Instead, focus on how you've always done your best, you've always had high ideals and you've found connection and been tuned in more than you know. Don't be frustrated by thinking you should have "accomplished" more. You HAVE become "more". Now just LINE UP WITH THE YOU THAT YOU'VE BECOME. When you feel frustrated or disappointed in yourself, it is because you are not allowing yourself to BE the YOU that you've put into your vibrational escrow!
Say: I believe I have the ability to think thoughts that will bring me into alignment.
Say: I believe I am Good
Say: I believe I am Source
Say: I believe there is more for me!
Say: I believe I have many things in escrow
Say: I believe I can trust my ability to allow

Oooh, I really liked this part. It feels awful to see others as needy. They are powerful creators with great intention and they can figure it out, their path of least resistance to alignment with Who They Really Are. They want to. I want to see all persons this way, as powerful cocreators, no matter how seemingly disconnected they appear. If they don't get it this life, they'll close the gap when they croak? It's all good. We all wanted the challenge (the tennis game).
Beast-like! Wow. To me this feels like being instinctual, intuitive, doing what feels good, not here to please others!
Having fun with it. Being easy about it.

Thanks for that, Jody!
I have been having a particularly bad-feeling day....Little Abe is experiencing increased seizure activity the past two days, and today I am feeling very sad for him, and sad that I did not manage to pass on my fantastic health to him....I'm feeling all misty-eyed just writing about it....This quote brings me a little comfort.....

just joining, was recommended to come over by Pat at PI. been kind of checking this out and just HAD to make a little note about the "mid april resolution" that this thread just inspired:
i am as beast like as i can let myself be. i notice the animals around me spend a lot of time grooming themselves and basking, and occasionally the engage each other to play. sounds like a plan'

Talk about synchronicity... I noticed this morning I was feeling rather beast-like, in all the best ways.

I saw a documentary about an incredible young man who can look at a scene for just a matter of moments and then draw it in such detail that any artist would struggle to portray even if they were looking at a photo as they drew. He was taken up in a helicopter over Paris (for about half an hour) and when he got back down on the ground he drew a perfect detailed arial view.
The young man is Autistic.
I have been thinking about him ALL day, then I just read this thread and I'm having a warm, knowing giggle at the synchronicity!
All day I've been trying to imagine how powerful and amazingly intense each moment must be for this guy. He absorbs every detail in moments, but it would take any of us months or years to absorb, memorise and even notice this much.
No wonder he's not interested in talking much with us and experiencing our diluted version of living! It really goes to show how powerful our 'now' really is and I'm inclined to make a stronger intention to focus on fewer things at one time. He's the perfect pure version of a commited'segment intender'!
Each moment must be a burst of flavour for him! I think it might fry my brain! But it would be worth it, and I'm sure I'd never be able to find enough colourful words to describe it!
It's fun to imagine though.
