What you saw WAS staged! This video of us is a RE-ENACTMENT of what ACTUALLY HAPPENED the first day that Esther and Jerry played that song:

Julie and I were sitting near each other, and we felt so moved by the music that we just started dancing, first just in our seats, and then we stood up!

Speaking for myself, I couldn't help it, I just had to move, I was so happy at that first gathering of the cruise, to be there, to be with these delightful people, it was SO WONDERFUL, and then they put on this AMAZING piece of music, I just had to get up and dance!!!!

I imagine that Julie felt the same way, and so we just started dancing together in the aisle!

That night, at dinner, Esther and Jerry were sitting with Julie, and they asked me over to the table (I almost fell out of my chair! IT WAS SO COOL!)
Jerry said, "We want to ask you something,"
and I said,
"The answer is YES. I'd do anything for you guys!"

He said, "We want you to recreate what happened today, and we're going to make this into our first music video!" or something like that.

!!!!!!!

So, Julie and I would go early and do different dance-y things for them, just enjoying the music and letting them video us. It was HEAVENLY.

And then, as Jody described, the last day, we all recreated it again, and videoed EVERYBODY!!!
Ahhh, it was wonderful.

It was SO WONDERFUL to be asked to dance on camera for Abe!!! It was a total dream come true-- to be an ABE BABE MUSIC VIDEO DANCER!!!

Now, here's the awesome, LoA, Vibrational Escrow thing about all of this--I have been dancing like this for about a year. I have been preparing for this very moment, without ever fully knowing it.

I started taking Nia Classes a couple of years ago, and part of that is FREE-DANCE, where I just listen to music and see how my body wants to move. It's such a lovely thing to do!

And last spring, I started going into Central Park with my Ipod and dancing freely through the park, not worrying about who could see me, not caring whether people watched or didn't watch, just riding the music and loving my body and seeing how I wanted to move to music today.

And, as an actress, I just KNEW that someday, someone would want me to do this kind of dance for them. I didn't know who it would be, but how PERFECT that the first people to ask me to dance would be Esther and Jerry and Abraham?!?!?!? I love love love love love them so much!!!! It was such a gift.

That last morning, of course I was already feeling incredible joy and connection just sitting down in the Vista Lounge for the last day of workshops... and of course I knew about the video being made - I knew Julie and Leslie had danced for several (I GUESS you could call it staged) shoots - and Mike had told me the video was going to be awesome.  What I didn't know was that ALL OF US would be invited to dance on the stage - or to dance at all, for 10 minutes before Esther brought Abe into the workshop. 

Julie always sits in the front row, and that day she was about 15 rows up.  I went over and chatted with her and just as I was about to ask why she was not in her usual seat, Jerry started his intro... and then the music started... OMG the vibe was so high I don't think that ship was even in the water! It must have been flying!

My first thought was "I'll just sit here and watch, this is so cool!"  But about 20 seconds into the music I found myself dancing down the isle (as Julie and Leslie had done) to the stage with about 70 other people and dancing and feeling SO GREAT.

Was the joy REAL??? [in response to a deleted question earlier posted by a new member]

Is Abraham a bunch a dead guys?
Will the sun come up tomorrow?
Is my name Jody with a "y"? (which, by the way, is JOY, with an extra D stuck in there for "David" he-he, thanks to my friend Chris for that!)

Um, YUP!!! It was REAL! And I think I can speak for Leslie, Christine, Sierra, Phil, and all the other forum members who were up on that stage with me, when I say that we STILL feel its effects.  And you all can too by watching that video!  YAY!
