Hi Leah,
I think we can make your idea more in keeping with what Abraham tells us is possible, if we have people come here and write for 17 seconds about their own desire. Since we can't create in another's reality, and we don't know what thoughts will change their vibration, for us to focus thought on the desires of others will have far less effect than if they focus thought on their own desire...
How about using this thread to come and "script" for 17 (or as Leah said, 68 is better!) about why you want what you want and how it FEELS to hold that vision. Writing is a great way to focus your attention!
Of course there is nothing wrong with wanting to "help" someone manifest their desire, but the fact is, our power of influence is just as strong if we use our energy to focus on what we desire for ourselves! Sounds "selfish", but if Leah raises HER vibration thinking about what SHE wants, anyone and everyone who is a match to that higher vibration will be positively affected by Leah! So COOL how that works!
Michael, how about writing 17 seconds of focused rampage on how great it is to see those A's!! How you KNOW the material, and how much fun it is to learn it and to easily answer the exam questions....

Living in Southern Pines in the beautiful 28 acre horse farm we found on the internet.
Planting a large garden there.
Openining my perfect business.
My son going to the school he desires.
My hubby working at any job he prefers and feels good doing.
Basking in the beautiful sunshine.
Converting electrical system to solar.
Re-decorating entire home to suite our tastes. I love to decorate!!!!!
I will think of more and write it down at work today....all day long!

Making lists of things you want can be fun, and as long as you are feeling great (no lack or resistance) while you write - that's wonderful.
The value of the 17 second process is to concentrate focus of positive thought on ONE thought. Or, to hold the vision of something while feeling really good about it, for 17 seconds or more. For instance, Kim, if you can conjur a feeling about what it would be like to have that business you want to open, and you can focus there with no resistance for 17 seconds, you have just moved closer to the manifestation of that business.
Does anyone have any quotes from Abe on the 17 seconds? And David, don't you have a timer posted somewhere? That is always fun...

Thank you for doing this today!
I want to pass the speed tests I'm taking on Saturday. Why? To more me closer to qualifying me to be a court reporter and translator for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
I want to write steno with extreme bursts of speed and staying on top of the speaker and writing with no hesitation and having my brain and fingers working together fluidly. Why? So I can pass the tests this week and the last week of May!!
I want to have total focus and concentration and to "just allow" this to happen. Why? Because I know that when I just allow it, it WILL happen.

"If you are observing something wonderful, as you observe it, it is vibrating. I like that idea Jody. Here we go:
I am definitely going to get an A on my finals. I have gotten an A on almost all of my assignments in each class so far. Even if I don't get A's on them, I will get A's in the classes. I know the content. I have paid attention and been enthralled with the content. I only have one cumulative final, the rest are just like the tests I have been taking. I have my final project for Gerontology done already and I am going to give a stellar presentation about Alzheimer's today. I have a great idea for my Middle Eastern Cultures final paper and it is a unique and interesting topic. I will get most of it done next week and I will be able to just relax during finals week.
Wow, that went very well, I went over 17 second! That really did give me that great feeling of relief. Thanks for the suggestion Jody and for starting the topic Starchild. Have a great day everyone, I look forward to your 17 second items.

Neil and I are so happy to have our own home at last, and I'm particularly thankful for the garden we both enjoy so much. I love the fact that it takes me less than 15 minutes to cycle to work.
We appreciate that most of our neighbours are quiet, peace-loving people.
We are expecting to have quiet neighbours on both sides very soon.
The young guy next door seems to have his heart in the right place. His taste in music could certainly be worse and I know he's concerned about the noise his dog makes when he's not home.
A real estate agent called around this morning. The house is to be sold because the owner transitioned a couple of weeks ago, but in the meantime it will be re-let. Perhaps the tenant will see the writing on the wall and find somewhere else to live. The agent told Neil if it had been up to him he would have evicted the current tenant 12 months ago.
This is a quiet suburban street.
All is well.
PS Michael, you surely sound like a straight-A student to me! Let us know, huh?

How do I see myself today?
 I am beautiful, strong, and wise with unlimited knowledge flowing to and through me. My body is it's perfect size, strong, lean, muscular, beautiful in everyway. My clothes are stylish and comfortable. My clothes are an extention of my inner beauty.
