This is uncanny. Today at 7 as I watched my child go to the bus I heard the most magnificent bird singing..tears of joy welled in my eyes..I hear them each day but today, I really listened...

I wake in the middle of the night most nights. Last night, the birds were singing and it echoed all over the neighbourhood. I knew they were singing, 'wellness abounds'.

Im thinking that maybe the bird that was stuck under the basement window protector and was easily freed, was an indication of actually how simple the solution formula is. Even though it seems like you have to struggle to get free of hardship, you are shown it all is a matter of focus and allowing. If you focus on the difficult way out, the simpler ways will be invisable to you. Thats what I gleamed from that exp.

I think I had my first message delivered this morning. I was on my way to work and driving slightly fast and a couple pigeons landed on the road right in front of me, forcing me to slow down to avoid hitting them. I think the point was that there was no need to rush, I was going to arrive at the right time regardless and hurrying was not necessary. I think in a larger sense, I'm often preoccupied with getting there already, rather than just relaxing into where I am NOW. Thanks pigeons!

Red birds are all over my yard and garden all the time. It gets better!
On the road to running errands today one flew right into my truck, as in camakazied. My immediate thought was, WOW, there must be some big time prosperity coming like NOW, as that sucker ran head long into me!
Cool beans!

Hello everyone,
I have been reading this forum for quite a while, but this is the first time I have posted.
Here is my bird story although it is actually more my husband's bird story even though I am the Aber in the family. This past year for Christmas my husband bought me a book on how to attract birds to our yard. He was looking through it one day in January and there was a section on attracting doves. He looked up at me and said, "A dove. That would be cool."
The next day I came home from the grocery store and there on our porch was a ringnecked dove pressed against the front door trying to get in! I called out to him to come out the back and around to the front door and not to let the dogs out. As he walked up to the porch, I said to him, "Your bird is here." The look on his face was priceless.
He sort of stammered and said, "But I meant a wild dove out in the front yard." I just laughed and told him next time he should be more specific because the universe is always listening in. We now have a lovely pet bird to remind us of that. She is wonderful and would have no doubt frozen that night as it grew very cold.
I always wonder if she was flying along in the cold and just somehow knew that if she went to that house, right there, that we would take her in.
I think her message to us was that it really can be just that easy to say "I'd like some (insert whatever here)" and have it show up.

Lovely topic! Birds are a lot of fun for me, I'm used to whistle to them and they whistle back!
One morning I was very thoughful, and sundenly I saw 3 birds sitting on the wire, like they were looking at me thru my window....I noticed them, and all the bunch of confusing thoughts flew away, and after few seconds, they flew away too!
Besides, I have my little parrot, she is my cutie, she can guess my feelings I guess...because she starts being noisy when I'm sad!!
They are amazing creatures!

Ever since I was a child, I've been mesmerized by hummingbirds. I remember as a child, I would sit in the Live Oak tree in our front yard for hours and watch them buzz around the feeder. They became quite comfortable around me & would fly or even perch on a branch very close by to where I was sitting.
Since I've become a conscious deliberate creator of my reality, I attract hummingbirds as messengers of Joy, Blissfulness and Upliftment. They always fly close to me, within a few inches or a few feet... I've even have experienced "saving" a couple of them when they were stuck inside a building & couldn't fly their way out. I absolutely LOVE their joyful hum & perky chirp!

birds have been affecting my life a lot lately.
one day recently, i was feeling so disconnected, and this beautiful seagull that seemed to just glow white and glorious was there, and i felt so peaceful and smiled. and then i looked down under the wooden post he was perched on and found a four-leaf-clover. i mean, i just knew it would be there, i had started the car to leave and everything, but i got out and looked down, ran my hand over the patch growing out of the concrete in the parking lot, and there it was.

we have bird's nests in our front and back yard. in the back one day, i saw our small puppy playing with something, and everyone thought it was a bug, but i knew it was something more--after getting the dog in, it was a baby bird! the mom and dad then took a worm and coaxed it under the fence to safety, it was the coolest thing! in the front something similar happened--the baby fell from the next and couldn't quite fly yet, and we protected it and it found it's wings. very powerful experiences interacting, connecting somehow, with these little creatures--my life to their life.
a couple months ago, after i heard our best friend's brother died, i saw an eagle soaring above my car. i had the strongest feeling that all is well, he is free and that our friend would be okay too (he's an Aber as well). when i told him, he cried.
yesterday, i had the strangest experience--the light was all different, i was connected to things/the earth in a different way, i could feel it--and then i saw a bird perched on the cattails in a pond at my son's school while we were releasing their butterflies the children hatched from larvae. it was a black bird with a red wing, so beautiful. the red just popped. he turned to look at me and i snapped a photo. just after that, i found another four-leaf clover (the 3rd in 2 weeks!), here he is:

Yesterday on my regular walk there was a dead baby bird on the path. Today there was another one. Does anyone know the significance in that. Oh, also i just remembered that when i first read this thread i remembered last yr i saw a dead bird (though i thought of it for a minute or so) Wonder if this was enough to activate this new sighting.

Wow, yes, yes! This is a question I've wanted to ask Abraham for a long time!
Thanks for the answer. My most dramatic message was when I was awoken by a very large owl at 4:14 am. I even got up and went outside to see the owl perched on a lampost, eyeing my cat. I walked outside and just as I picked up my cat it swooped down, right over me as if to say "I could snatch her out of your arms if I wanted to". As I walked back to my house I received a "block of thought" with a message about beware what may happen in your own back yard. I received such an errie, chilling feeling I scribbled the time and date before I went back to sleep. 4:15am, Sept 11, 2001.
Since then my "bird messages" have been much more benign. I love songbirds in particular but still admire the strength and beauty of the larger preditory ones.
Just yesterday as I was taking a walk, a grackle in a bush made some odd sounds which startled me. Grackles aren't my favorite bird and I actually scolded it for being so rude. LOL. Would like to see what message that could have been.
However, it's hard to outdo the drama of having those powerful wings and talon of that owl swoosh by so close. It's hard to outdo that strong feeling of "There is a strong disturbance in the Force" I got.
In moments like that one learns that in moments of strong contrast one is brought into a hightened awareness of NOW and in times like this in spite of it all, you do feel Source flowing very strongly. Perhaps that is why so many people get so caught up in drama.

Thought I would share my most awesome bird experience.
This occurred in the fall during the time of year that birds migrate and so they are in very large groups.
It was early evening... oh maybe a couple hours or so before the sun would set and I went onto the back porch to eat an apple.
I smiled as I went outside because all the trees were full of birds and I was pleased that they had decided to take a rest here.
So, as I sat on the porch eating my apple I was just enjoying hearing their bird sounds, which was like being in a concert. There chattering literally surrounded me! It's amazing too I thought seeing how many birds a tree could actually hold. Could barely see the trees themselves for all the birds!
I then, at one point, wondered what they were thinking/saying to one another in all their chattering amongst themselves.
In the very next moment and all at once all the birds took flight. That group mind thing that they have. Such a whooshing sound they made! WOW! I almost couldn't see the sky there were so many!
BUT! Rather than traveling on, they...
They flew into the air and formed the shape of a huge circle. In single file they flew. Single file! And, the whole while maintained this perfect circle.
For how long they did this I really can't remember.
I don't even remember standing up in my awe of their show for me. Apple forgotten. Shortly after I began to laugh with joy did they disperse and be on their way.
So, what were they saying to each other that I had wondered?
Same as what Abraham tells us... that we are all one as symbolized by the circle they made.
I shall never forget their allowing me to share in their knowing. I still feel the awe.

Hello Good People .......
I am sorry but I still don't get it ........
what kind of message does a person gets when one sees a bird ?? From what I read in this thread - of course, obviously different individual get different message according to their current state of life and they understand them ....... but for me ........... I don't understand any of this. Whenever I see a bird, it is just a bird !! Should I ask my IB to open up my "senses" ??
Don't get me wrong - I love animals
or perhaps I should ask the Universe for a sign and birds is one of the messenger ??
Pls enlighten me on this ........ Tks !!

Hi Flower Power,
Relax.. and as Abraham says... "be EASY with all of this!" It's perfectly okay if we all get our "messages" in different ways at different times. The wonderful part about a forum like this is that we get to pick and choose what we read, what we don't, what resonates with us, and what doesn't! And the really really cool thing? It's ALL GOOD!
There are no "shoulds" and there is absolutely nothing you have to do or not do. I don't get my messages "through birds" either, and yet I find it fascinating to hear these stories! Again.. it's ALL GOOD. Some people get "messages" through flies (Abraham tells us that Esther did...) and others through bears, and butterflies. Some of us just plain don't get anything from animals and we get our messages through license plates!
So. The reason I came to this thread today... I was meditating this morning, and sometimes afterwards I just sit and let my mind wander, and today for some reason I was reminded of a time about a year ago when David told me he'd been visited in a very powerful way by a HAWK. He said it came right up and sat on his windowsill.. and it felt to him in that moment like a powerful message. No way did it seem like "ho-hum, there's a hawk..." I looked up the symbolism of the hawk and found it "meant" power, change, cleansing, and protection. All of these had special meaning for David as at that time he was going through a major life transition and the hawk's appearance was reassuring and felt like an underline to clarity.
My daughter, like Natty, has always loved hummingbirds. I have marveled all of her life how, before I had her, I had scarcely noticed the hummingbirds and rarely saw them. But she seems to see them everywhere, and is always full of delight when she does. She patiently photographs them as well. I have no doubt they are attracted to her because she is a "vibrational match" for the joy that they are..
I guess we don't have a bird emoticon, do we... ??
