Lately, I've been playing this little game of "What would Inner Being Say?" And it's been pretty fun. What I do is ask Inner Being a question, and then I give an answer for it, and if I feel that there is a positive vibrational response to it, then I accept that as the answer that is appropriate for me for now. It seems that the longer I play it, the faster the answers come. It starts to feel as if Inner Being starts guiding me after playing the game a little bit. It goes something like this. Oh, this is very self-indulgent!
ME: I'm stuck.
IB: Why do you say that?
Because the river is moving so fast, but I'm not moving with it.
Why not?
Because I'm stuck.
Your not stuck.
I'm stuck. My boat is bouncing all around in this raging river!
Your river is magnificent!
I'm glad YOU are having fun!
Of course! Inner Being gets to ride your rockets of desire whether you allow them to manifest, or not!
I really really REALLY want to allow them to manifest!
Good! Want is GOOD!
But I'm stuck!
No, you are not stuck! Look at your hands!
Yes, my hands. Hmmm. They seem just fine! Strong, healthy...I don't get it! What's the big deal with my hands?
Is there anything in them?
Yes! Of COURSE there is! I'm holding on to this big beautiful tree! Why do you ask?
You are holding on to a tree.
Yes. This tree represents everything that I've manifested in my life, so far! The people, my career, my stuff! My wonderful cool stuff! I want more stuff! More people! More career! But I'm stuck!
Are you stuck? Are you REALLY stuck?
..... No. The tree is stuck.
Truly said.
But! Man! If I let go of this tree, I'll lose it!
Then by all means, keep holding onto your tree.
But then I won't float downstream!
Right now, you are feeling negative about letting go of the tree. Try not taking action from a place of negative emotion. What is your emotion.
I would have to say goodbye to this tree. I don't like saying goodbye!
You say goodbye everyday!
But, I know I'll be right back, soon! Oh! You'll probably say that I'll croak before ya know it, so I'll get to see this tree soon enough, anyway! But that I need to move up the Emotional Guidance System first!
Words to that effect, yes. Boy, it sure has gotten easier to deal with you since you started listening to the teachings of Abraham!
Why can't I bring this tree with me?
Is that tree compatable with your new desires?
Not entirely. Not really. Can you change it, for me?
Yes.
Then do so!
It doesn't want to change. It is perfect, just the way it is, from this broader perspective.
I want to change this tree into what I want!
That is what keeps you holding onto the tree. Soon enough, you will resent the tree, and the tree will despise you.
Letting go of the tree means floating down the river to my new desires. That makes me feel a little better! Even though I'm a little sad to say goodbye. I guess you could say that I'm feeling bittersweet.
That's an improvement.
Now I'm feeling pensive.
ok.
Now I'm feeling wistful.
Put down the thesaurus, or we'll be here all of our physical manifestation! Move up!
Well, just because I'm letting go of the tree, doesn't mean I think that there is anything WRONG with the tree, it just means that I'm moving through my life to my expansion!
Yes!
That could even be an inspiration for some of this tree to expand on IT'S path!
Truly said.
I'm excited!
You know what to do now!
WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
What do you feel now?
EXHILERATION!
Do you feel your new desires getting closer?
YOU BET! Wow, when I think about it, there were some branches on that tree that I felt really held me back from what I wanted! I resented them!
How do you feel about them now.
I love them. I only held myself back. I'm free to love, now. They are still close by me, physically, but now it feels like we are vibrating in totally different universes. But I'm good with that.
Good. Aren't you glad we had this talk?

Brilliant! I loved reading that. I do this too.
Nothing rivals our very own guidance. Well done.

Yesterday, I said to myself, "I didn't deserve those words from that person."
"No you didn't," said my IB "And that's why you should be listening to ME!"

Haha...I love this! I've noticed my inner being seems to be very blunt with me when I ask it what it sees. Often the answer is so simple that my mind has a short circuit and I see how I am very attached to the paddling.
Its funny how clear and simple and wonderful the answers are.

To Thine Own Inner Being Be True! What a fun game!
Methinks my inner being is fun-loving little brat! I think I am, too, deep down inside! I'm going to play this game all day, today!

That was absolutely fantastic! I often talk to my IB also, but not at length. I'm going to listen a little more closely from now on!

Oh my, yesterday somone said very harsh things to me and sent me paddling upstream in a huff!! Your IB is very wise, I am sure mine would have said the same thing if I only had listened. I am going to take this to heart and only listen to my IB!
Thanks for the reminder,

Great post jonquil!! as usual....
It was fun reading you work through and letting go, I really felt a lot of myself in it all.
The thesaurus crack was really funny. I can be a thesaurus junkie sometimes too.
Oh and the comment from your IB "Boy, it sure has gotten easier to deal with you since you started listening to the teachings of Abraham!"...... my husband says the same thing to me.

Love it Jonquil. And the funny thing is I didn't take in the funnies the first time I read it. That time I zoomed in on the enlightenUPment you were flowing. I must have been shy of humour on the EGS at the time!! So thanks to Leafygreen for posting about it and causing me to reread it. It is much easier to hear guidance when there's lightheartedness attached isn't it?
Brilliant!

Thanks for all the positive responses. I KNEW there were other people playing this fun little game, too!
I ALWAYS hear Abraham/Esther's voice saying:"You are all taking this way too seriously!"
When I make it fun, and make it as a game (as opposed to work) I realize that it is a lot more effective! It should come as no suprise. After all, children try to make everything into a game, and they are more connected to inner being. Or maybe it's because they are more connected that they can turn everything into a game.
What a shame that so many of us adults spend so much time telling our young ones to "start taking life more seriously!"
Ok, I owe my kids an apology. See ya!

Making it fun is what it really is all about for me too. I find the more TITITO I am the more funny and silly I am. I've always found myself to be very funny(and sometimes I'm the only one who does) and get a kick out of my own humor...but I've now discovered that it really comes from my IB. What a wonderful realization that was for me. To know that when I return to the non-physical I will still I have my sense of humor only more so.
