The following threads have been nominated by forum members as worthy of the Hall of Fame, because they have provided some noteworthy "aha" moments, contain lots of wisdom on particular subjects, and/or are lots of fun and made us feel good!
So if you are new to the forum and wonder where to start, this list will keep you busy with some of the best we have to offer - hopefully something on whatever subject is on your mind. If you are a veteran, it will give you some fun moments on memory lane and also refresh your memory.
A note about how to use the HOF:
Please try to refrain from replying in threads that are more than a few months old. In most cases, it's best to start a NEW thread with your thoughts, and you can reference the HOF thread by adding a link to it in your post, or copy/pasting a particular quote you want to reference in your new thread.
When anyone has any threads to add, please do so by replying in this thread or "nominating" threads by replying in them and saying something like "how about we add this to the HOF".
Threads should be about a major Abraham concept or idea and have lots of great forum-member wisdom in them (If you learned a lot from a thread, chances are others would too!) .. or they are threads that we just enjoyed the heck out of because they were so much fun and made us feel fantastic.
Thank you! Enjoy!

I'm mixed, Jody!
I followed FlowerPower's link to Violet's Sexual Chemistry, and I so wanted to insert my perspective! Imagine my upstream frustration to learn that it was locked!
.......
Ok, I'm good now!
Well, like any "HALL OF FAME," I think the that thread nominated should be "retired." That is to say, only threads that haven't had a response in over six months should be eligible for consideration.
In this manner, somebody might be inspired to resurrect a topic from our new expanded leading edge perspective, while observing our older, yet still valid perspectives.

Hi
I'm hesitant to use the word 'best', because it's so subjective and what inspires from day to day can vary.
So many ahas! here...
...but...
... a couple of days ago I browsed a thread from mid April (so not exactly 6 months, sorry J) which was revelatory to me and I wondered then whether to mention it.
The thread is called, "Releasing? How?"
http://www.theabeforum.com/forum2/5068.html
It took my understanding of how guidance relates to physical body (and how best to approach it) to another level.
Ocean x
Now off to check the sexual chemistry thread...
Edited to say: Yep, that's a great thread, too! And the Myanmar & China one! I knew this would be tough! Great opportunity to get even more out of this forum, whether 're-enjoying' a thread or enjoying it for the first time!

As an Abe newcomer, the thread on Myanmar and China was incredible for me.
http://www.theabeforum.com/forum2/5554.html
It helped me understand more of Abe's philosophy, to the point where I deleted all of my "news sites"- now I come to the Abe Forum in the morning to get my news!! I have had the most amazing week as a result.
I nominate it for the Hall of Fame....

I don't think it is necessary. The search feature is great, and what is great to someone may not be great to another, it depends on their individual vibe. If they are in the vibration of it, they will attract it with or without the "hall of fame"

I'm reading a lot of these replies, Jody, and I think I'm getting a vibe about it.
How about a HALL OF GRATITUDE?!?!
Because what we are really doing is nominating threads which we are so grateful for because it opened our eyes in such a helpful way, and we are thinking that others might benifit from it so much, also!
That way, we avoid the whole comparison thing/Best thing. You know, when I stop to think about it, all of this country's "hall of fames" are really just "Halls of gratitude" for those individuals and groups who brought so much inspiration to us through thier inspired endeavors.
Just a thought, Jody!
jonquil
p.s. It would also be a really rocking ABE-ISH title!<grin>

Hi Everyone!
I'm so glad many people like this idea. I'm going to edit my first post in this thread every time someone chimes in with a hall of famer. That way we'll have a list of threads that for whatever reason, really helped or made an impression on people, and it can serve as a resource at the top of the forum.
It's true that we have a search function, but now that we have over 2000 members and many more thousands of threads, it's nice, I think for newcomers (and old-timers too sometimes) to have a resource that lists threads that have had impact. This is certainly not to take away the value of any of the other threads, just a way to organize the information in a way that might prove useful.
Tracy, a librarian after my own heart!! I was a librarian who because an "information scientist"... so I guess you caught on to my stuff! I DO have a penchant for making info accessible and organized!
And about the thread that is closed, I'm going to take a look at it right now - I don't remember off hand why it was closed, but most likely at the request of the thread starter. If we leave it closed, it can still be in the Hall of Fame! It will just be "read only".
I'm excited about this. So what other threads have had particular impact for everyone?
Thank you so much everybody!

I'm mixed about this too Jody. It depends on how it is implemented. I just want to understand what you're thinking more fully.
So... this would be a sticky thread at the top of each Forum? And if just one person nominates a thread you will add it to a list that you are keeping? So there will really only be one post in this thread - yours - with just a list of links? And if so how many "votes" does a thread need to get put into the list? Just one? Or will it be an open thread where anyone just posts what they nominate?
The only thread that pops into my mind is Laughing Heart's thread on his process of manifesting money MUST go in there. It was alive for months and is 13 pages long - I think the most popular thread ever on TheAbeForum so far.

There's also value in "the most replied to" threads, since those generated the most interest.
But I like Hall of Fame/Abe 101 idea.

Evolution of a great new idea! Good idea, Jody!
I agree with Jonquil that if this is to be a "hall of fame" that the threads should be older threads. If a thread is new and active, then it is easy to find and join in. I also like his idea for a hall of gratitude!
I know there are many old threads that provided ahas for me. One of the most fun threads I enjoyed was Rewa's Deliberate creation in popular culture: http://www.theabeforum.com/forum2/1966-1.html

I've got a feeling THIS thread is the Hall of Fame thread. I've just read the first page of Laughing Heart's thread on your recommendation!
Haven't see Laughing Heart on here since I joined. Has he accumulated so much gold in his house that he can't find his computer any more? Should we send out a search party, d'ya think?

OK Jody I've chewed on the idea some more and think it is a good one. It would be very helpful for those new to Abraham or new to TheAbeForum. A place where the best of the threads are indexed. Here are my only concerns... And of course I'm not really concerned about it!

1. I don't think there should be one for the Rampage Forum. Because each and every one of those threads is beautiful and written by someone who poured out their heart in love and appreciation. So how to judge which ones are best? Just because one person can write better than another?
2. I can't tell from what you've written so far but it seems like if only one person suggests a thread then it will go in? Then the list would get too long. I can't tell if you are going to have a voting system for the best threads or what. It really should be more than just one person suggesting it.
OK - that's it. Otherwise yes it is a great idea!

Good points NDR! I've eliminated the rampage idea. Thanks I think you are right!
As for whether all will be accepted.. pretty much at least for now. So far all the ones that have been suggested (see the top of the thread where I've listed them) have been ones that I've said "Oh yes! That one!" ...
I guess I'll keep the ones that seem to have the most value for the most people - especially people first coming to the forum and want to get the most bang for their reading time. Does that make sense?
The idea just came to me in a flash of inspiration today, so we'll hone it as we go along. Thanks for your comments!!!

Yes, this thread will just keep growing. Each time someone comes to this thread to nominate a HOF thread, I will then EDIT the top post - my original post in this thread - to ADD that nominated thread. (hmmm what a tongue twister!!) Just like I edit the cruise roll calls - when someone comes to the thread to say they are going on the cruise, I edit the first post to add them. Same thing here, and I've already started. Scroll to the top of this thread, and at the bottom of my original post you'll see a list and links to all the threads nominated so far. A thread doesn't need "votes" - at least not for now.
Does this make sense?
