Jody,

Wow, you are fast at posting these pictures! My family had such a wonderful time on the cruise. We thought about locking the doors to our suites and hiding out so we could continue on for the next portion of the cruise!

The workshops were awesome and we certainly went to a new level! We returned to Phoenix last night and were pretty drained from pretty much a 23 hour trip from Rome to Phoenix. I'll post more later after settling in a little around the house.

Also, it was really great meeting everybody from the Forum. I'd like to offer a special thanks to Kendall for creating the name tags and helping to organize the meetup. It was so nice to actually meet so many Abers in person and to be around you for so many days.

Jody, it's funny how you said that those of us in the meetup will run into each other more than usual during the cruise because of LOA. I can't even count how many times Dawn, Sami (my daughter), and I ran into you and David. We were bumping into you all the way up to the end at the Holiday Inn a couple of days ago. It was really nice to meet you and David in person.

Well, I will post more later. I'm still taking in the whole experience. I can't wait for my next cruise!

Take care.

Kevin

Thank you Jody for those nice pictures! As David is normally behind the camera I want to add a foto taken in the lobby of the Holiday Inn.

Never having been on an Abraham cruise I have a question for Jody and the rest of the group.  Does the cruise ship only go downstream?

::LOL

Looking at these pictures - I am reminded that Abraham people always look so happy - so joyful - so glowing from the inside out.  I've been to 2 seminars and everyone looked a little bit more alive than the average person.  These pictures bear that out.

The locations look stunning.  I can't wait to hear more!!  I'll bet the vibrations were HIGH!!!

::LOL::LOLDEFINATELY DOWNSTREAM!!

This prompts a question....Do the Abers all stick together during the cruise?  And do ya'll seem to be having more fun than the rest of the travelers?  Or do you even notice the others? (OK that was 3).

The last time I went on a cruise (not Abe) it was...well...ok.  Nothing great.  I was just thinking a little while ago that Abe cruises are probably a LOT better...

Yeah I'm definately putting an Abe cruise into the old VE.

I believe all the women have noticed that detail, Brightlight! That's probably why Jody looks as though she's winking at the camera!:beautiful:

Great photos, I especially love the ones with you and David, you look/feel like u two are crazy in love.  I read somewhere you two met on a cruise, so the cruise photos are even more romantic to me.

I know everyone adores and loves your input Jody,...and I too want to say a gazillion thanks to you.

Wow! ::LOL
I LOVE this forum...
I just got up, and haven't even grabbed my coffee yet, but of course I logged onto the Forum.. and I see all this cute discussion about David's hand, and the ship going downstream... well... AHEM!!!  ::LOL::LOL::LOL

First of all, of COURSE the ship ONLY GOES DOWNSTREAM!!! :exactly: And as for the joy and the Abers always smiling - I usually come off a cruise feeling like my cheeks are tired from laughing.  The JOY is the thing! It's why we're here! And yes yes yes, it is super amped up when all the Abers go out to play on the Waters of Well-Being!!!

Oh, and something I'm going to mention later in my notes... Abraham did not talk about the upstream/downstream analogy during the cruise!!  They are on to other things... other ways for us to "get it"! YAY!

Okay, so about the wonderful David - and yes we met on a cruise so we especially love "RE-meeting" on cruises... and Brightlight you cracked me up.  When I was 15 my highschool boyfriend had his hand on my knee while we watched TV in the den at my house, and my Mom later said to me "I don't like where he was putting his hand"!  Can you believe I remember that all these years later!  ::LOL::LOL::LOL
That "boy" recently passed... I guess David was channeling him that day at the Holiday Inn!!!

Okay, so continuing with the trip report... I just can't resist posting this next series of photos... they cracked me up... and you can see why David stays behind the camera - he just flows... what a guy...
So we last left our Abers in Barcelona, Spain, where your fearless Forum leaders Jody and David were traipsing along La Rambla with a group of 6 friends.  As you can see from this picture... Abers ALWAYS agree on exactly which direction is "downstream"....

And it WAS truly amazing.  David took many many photos of the incredible detail of this church, which has been under construction for over 200 years - and is expected to be completed within another generation. Although Gaudi has long since transitioned, work continues according to his plans. We oohed and aahed for quite a while as we made our way around all sides of the structure.  We did not take the tour of the inside of the church, but there was enough to see on the outside to keep us fascinated!
