Above are the three links to the workshop notes from the cruise that I've posted so far. I was so surprised when I took out my handwritten notes and saw how much I managed to write down! It's amazing going over them. Some of it I remember clearly, other things feel brand new!

Jody,
Here is a picture that I took of your group as we were touring Pompeii. Of course, this was taken before everybody became soaking wet from the downpour!

Oh Kevin thank you so much! We did have a blast at Pompeii. All the pictures I have are sans David, of course, since he took them!
Did your guide show you the spot at that amphitheatre where if you talk you hear a huge and loud echo of yourself? I stood on it and sang out "BECAUSE!!!!......." ala Julie Barr's aunt.. (sorry about inside joke for cruisers ) and it sounded awesome!

Jody,
Yes, our tour guide did show us where you could belt out a tune and be heard perfectly at the amphitheatre. I'm sure you did sound awesome. If I did that with my voice, then I'd be creating a whole lot of contrast for everyone!
I would love to hear the winner of the Noordam Idol belt out a Whitney Houston song in that amphitheatre though. She was absolutely amazing!
Also, if you'd like a higher quality copy of that photo I could email it to you as I had to dramatically reduce it's size to keep it under the 100,000 KB limit for the website. Take care.

Just in case anyone was interested, here's a rundown of who's who in the forum meetup picture:
Front row: Kalena (SeekerofJoy), Jody, Ginat and Sheldon (Shelgin)
Second row (sitting): Elisabeth (Elisabetta), Lee (Dolphinlover), Dawn (Kevin's wife), Kevin
Back Row (standing): Nancy (friend of Carolyn and party crasher - Yay!!), Andrea (Marbella), Ro (my mom), me (Kendall), Dinny, Sunlover, Simon (Yeslist), Carolyn (friend of Nancy and party crasher -- Yay!! Hopefully on the forum soon), Garnet (Mlsrealtor), Andy (MultiverseMan), and Valerie (friend of Lee aka Dolphinlover)
Others in attendance but not in the picture (hope I don't miss anyone!):
Vickie (Cybervix) who was also in the hotseat
Mathew and Gabriel
Sharyn and her husband Vince
Merril and his wife
I think I got everyone. I know Elisabetta, Marbella, my mom and I all talked up the forum a lot and hopefully we'll have an influx of new members.

[Edited to add me (Sunlover) in the back row.] WHAT AN AWESOME TRIP!

Jody1 wrote: And it WAS truly amazing. David took many many photos of the incredible detail of this church, which has been under construction for over 200 years - and is expected to be completed within another generation. Although Gaudi has long since transitioned, work continues according to his plans. We oohed and aahed for quite a while as we made our way around all sides of the structure. We did not take the tour of the inside of the church, but there was enough to see on the outside to keep us fascinated!
Hi Jody
My 12 year old Finnegan just jumped up from his pre-teen telly programme to go:

at the picture of the Sagrada Familia you put here. so thanks for that inspiration! (He reads this forum from time to time over my shoulder). I shot over to the SF website to show him some more pics. Gaudi was/is unbelievably amazing.
The moment has some synchonicity because Gaudi was introduced to me by my partner of 16 years, the father of my boys. Gaudi was was one of his bag of tricks that he used to convince me in the first month or so that he was the one!
I'm enjoying this thread by the way - it's great to see pictures of Abers in action - and the La Rambla series is awesome in-the-moment photography.
