All of these times I have craved foods that have been "unhealthy" for me is because I haven't been feeling good. Ever.
I don't feel satisfied in the moment and I need to turn to something to feel good again. And for me, that ends up being food. If I keep myself preoccupied with food, then I won't have to worry about other underlying problems that I don't want to bring to the surface.
I was listening to Money and the Law of Attraction yesterday about how if we feel a negative emotion toward some kind of food, we should not pursue that food. It's like our inner being saying "Hey! that's not going to make you feel any better, or good at that rate!" The foods that are truly nourishing foods are the ones we're going to be attracted to.
And now I get how easy it is to be naturally SLENDER!
I don't need that food. It won't do anything for me. Because if I can come from a place of feeling good, I would never be attracted to that food in the first place!
Thanks for all of your help thus far. This board has helped me realize so much in my life!

this is a great quote! I've also found now that i am more in tune with my IB, i will hear myself (or my IB I'd like to think) ask, right as i am going into the kitchen to 'graze' on whatever out of the pantry, "are you really hungry?" and almost always the answer is 'no. i'm just bored.' So it'll stop me in my tracks.
the next question will be "so what do you want to do?" and I will then go in the direction of that answer - (it's almost always 'read').
Kinda cool and easy thing - thought i'd share

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!
Between the new Abe video and this quote...my mind is blown for the night. This makes so much more sense than trying to talk myself thin. Thanks!!! It's seems so duh! but sometimes I just need to hear it a different way.

Thank you for sharing this - it means to me that if we are in alignment and feeling good, we are attracted mostly to truly nourishing foods, natural unprocessed foods. That answers to me the question if we can eat so called junk food and be slender and healthy.

I'm living proof of that! I practically live off ColdStone and Cool Ranch chips and am skinny and in fantastic shape. The more crap I eat, the skinner I get it seems. Its all about your vibe!

I beg to differ about "wholesome" or "unprocessed" or "junk" foods (or even the amount of food) being the issue at all. It's your vibration. Here's a quote from Abe:
"Befriending your body is the only way we know of coming to understand
that your body is resilient and that it knows what to do, and that it
will be whatever you ask it to be. But you have to ask it to be that
in a place of nonresistance. It's the most significant information
that we have ever expressed relative to your physical body and food.
You must love your body, and then lovingly give it the food. And when
you love your body and lovingly give it the food, it matters not what
food you give it."

Yes! Back in the day I used to be able to eat whatever I wanted and I was naturally fairly thin. I constantly talked about how I could eat whatever I want and thought about how I could eat whatever I want - and it remained true. Then through events and just whatever my thinking changed - and so did my body.
Thanks, Galina for posting this. My focus is on my money but like it says in the quote "any subject" - it was good to hear and have reinforced. Though I like the message for being slim too. Money and my bod are my two most focused on subjects. :-)
All is well!

Hi All,
I just wanted to share what I have noticed with my own vibration and body since I've come across and apply daily the teachings of Abraham. Since I have been able to shift my focus more and more on what I want and what feels good now, I have just gotten skinnier and skinnier (which is what I want). No matter how much or how little I eat, I am getting thinner every day. I've also noticed that for me it seems to be a combination of making sure I focus on feeling good right now as much as I possibly can, and also focusing on eating food that makes me feel good (which for me means less processed foods because my system is pretty sensitive to a lot of foods). So it seems to be a combination of feeling good and eating foods that are "better" for my body/aka make my body feel good. It really is all about what makes you feel GOOD RIGHT NOW.
The really fun thing about all this is that I used to be a big emotional binge eater, and now I choose to eat healthier food without even really thinking about it most of the time. Talk about a big change! And it's happened for me by just focusing on what I want and imagining that it has already happened and just feeling good as much as I can each moment. That's all that I've done, and so much has changed in my life for the better already!!! "The rest takes care of itself" is SO TRUE! Woohooo!

It definitely is all about your vibe for sure, but I've just found that after I eat a greasy hamburger I don't feel as good as after I've eaten a leafy green salad with lots of veggies! I love now feeling good after I've eaten food that I've been attracted to because it nourishes my body.
Everyone is different. Unlike Star, I have a hard time convincing myself that Coldstone is good for me (although god, would I LOVE that ..I'm just not there yet) I'm also learning to have small desserts (with chocolate, which I can't resist) and still feel GREAT about having desserts! I love that!!
