Hi Cruisers!!
I'm in the Amsterdam airport at the moment waiting for my flight to Washington DC where David and I will see Abraham at their last workshop before they take off for Europe! Wasn't it fun to get the cruise docs!!! Makes it all seem REAL!
Our Forum member meet-up is all set for 3 PM on embarkation day - Crows Nest in the SIDE ROOM (Port side) Deck 10. You can reach deck 10 through the forward elevators ONLY. If you take other elevators, just go to deck 9, then walk all the way forward past the indoor pool and into the spa - from there it's one flight of steps or one floor up on the elevator. A waiter from the CN will circulate among our group and serve us drinks (charged to your individual accounts) or water. It's a good idea to try to be on the ship earlier to give yourself time for lunch in the lido and a look at your stateroom before coming up to the meet-up. Kendall is taking care of the administration of the "meet and greet" so please RSVP to her as soon as possible.

Hi - I am Mathew and I am really looking forward to this cruise, I was on the recent Caribbean Cruise, they just get better and better. I am looking for someone to share my cabin, (single person rates or pretty high) and my freind who was planning to come with me cannot come this time I have a deluxe Veranda Suite booked so if anyone out there hasn't booked yet please reply or contact Patti at World View Travel. I am looking forward to meeting you all.

Hi Garnet, this is fine, but to send a private message just right click on Kendall's username, and then on "Send a Private Message". It should work great!

Actually I have tickets to all the Abe English dates! 4 workshops before the cruise - I'm maxing out 
It will be easy to spot me on the , I'll be the one radiating  and bouncing off the clouds!
The main thing left to do now is sort out my hotels for Rome as I've just decided to spend an extra night there before and after the cruise.

Welcome Vicky, isn't the pre-paving fun?
A question for the experienced cruisers: If an excursion is sold out and on wait list only, how do you sign up for a first and second choice? In other words if I sign up for the wait listed excursion, I would like to have a second choice in the wings should the first choice not materialize! Is this doable? I didn't see that option noted.

Hi Diane,
You could call HAL's excursion office in Seattle and see if they can waitlist you on more than one time. You are right that the software on the site doesn't allow for choosing a "second choice"...
You can sign up on the phone though, and they will still send you an email confirmation and it will appear on the online form quite soon after your phone call.

Thanks for your reply Jody. Before asking the Forum, I did try calling HAL with the number given for excursion questions, but being Saturday, only their recorder was on. If my arithmatic skills are working, I believe I still have until Monday to sign up online.

I hadn't been able to check in for a few days and reading all this, I can feel everyone's energy just buzzing off the charts  for your Mediterranean Cruise!!!! Soooo excited for all of you!!! Not long now!!!!!!  Bet you can barely wait!

I am really looking forward to the Med Cruise. I really enjoyed the Caribbena one in March, just how many more can I take? Bring it on! I have booked for Tahiti too.
This will be my 4th Cruise with Jerry & Esther am I getting addicted. Lokking forward to meetin you all.
