Hi Forum Members,

My name is Carole, and my husband Tom and I will be sailing the Med with J&E, Abraham, and you.  We're experienced cruisers, but we've never done an Abe cruise or visited these particular ports-of-call before.  I'll be attending the seminars on my own, which is ok, because my husband is one of those natural Abers, and I decided to bring him along anyway because just coincidentally we'll be celebrating our thirtieth wedding anniversary on June 3.

But seriously, we booked this cruise practically as soon as it was announced, and we've been enjoying the anticipation for nearly a year.  Can't you just visualize that escrow?

We're looking forward to meeting some of you in the Crows Nest on embarkation day.  We arrive in Rome on May 26, and we'll be staying at the Hotel Golden.  We plan to stay on in Rome for a couple of days after the cruise as well, at a hotel nearer to Vatican City.

I can hardly wait, although I am loving these delicious butterflies I feel whenever I think about the trip, and I have about a million things to do.  See you in the Crow's Nest, and aboard our lovely ship, and in our leading edge workshops!

Carole

Welcome Carole! We will meet in the crows nest.

I have quite a lot of butterflies in my belly.

First flight... (from Düsseldorf to Rome), first cruise...first time traveling without my husband.... convincing myself, that he will be happy during those two weeks, in nice surroundings, well cared for...  ..AND I will meet my daughter (Marbella) first time after Christmas 2006! Next Tuesday she will be here!

We just "talked" per MSN and she advised me to make a list....

AND I am soooo eager to meet you all.... and ...and...and...::hearts Elisabetta

Hi Jody --

Scott Mielke told us about the Abe Forum and the cruise roll call. My wife (Barbara) and I are going on the Med cruise and want to participate in any Forum gatherings on board. So let us know what is going on, and count us in!

Looking forward to meeting the Med group.

Welcome Merrill and Barbara!!

So glad you have to on board!

Kendall will contact you with details of our little Forum get-together on embarkation day.  We are all having a brief meet and greet in the Crow's Nest port side room to put names and faces together for our Forum friends participating in the Abe workshops.  This is going to be a glorious cruise.

Looking forward to meeting you Merrill and Barbara, and enjoy the forum!

Today at breakfast I was a little bit sad. Though I look forward to the med.cruise. -- I saw my husband, happily smiling to me ... And  I could not make him understand, that next week he is going to be cared for and I am making a big journey with one of our daughters.  ( I did not even try to --- I do not want to give him trouble).

I said to myself: There is no reason to worry.

Later on I looked into my mails. There I found "The daily quote". And It was right for me:

The answers are now coming forth to you. Go forth in joy and get on with it.

Elisabetta,

Often when Abraham is asked about people with Alzheimer's or other kinds of dementia, they explain that the person is inching closer to non-physical, but doing it slowly.  So insofar as they seem disconnected from what we are doing, and insofar as they seem not to understand, that are that much more "with one foot" in the non-physical dimension, and to me this means the good news is they are ever so adept at reading vibration.

So.. I think.. the very worst case scenario would be that your husband will have some confusion and disorientation because you are not there as he is accustomed to, right? And it's hard for you because you want so to make him understand.. so that he won't feel abandoned or have any negative emotion over what's happening.  But Abraham would say that your worry over that is depriving him of being able to line up with how wonderful it all is.  I think in this case, although we're talking about a spouse and not a child, what Abraham told me about my kids is very apropos! And that was: When you worry, you can't love!

So this means that in your worry about your husband, you cannot, in the same moments that you are worried, also love him!  That's because worry and love are completely different vibrations and can't simultaneously be present.  I have written about this several times on the forum because it was, and still is, such a huge "aha" for me.  I think it can help you too.  When you ask yourself: "Elisabetta, do you want to worry, or do you want to love"... I'll bet that like me, you will always choose LOVE, and then you can get on with being your loving self, the self that is excited and joyful about the cruise... and your husband will tune to THAT vibration.  Why give him worry vibes to make his confusion all the worse? :?  Just as I told myself when my daughter was hospitalized last week.. I said Jody, you can sit here and worry, or you can sit here and LOVE.  You can talk to the doctor and worry, or you can talk to the doctor and LOVE.  You can go and buy cheetos from the vending machine and worry, or you can buy cheetos and LOVE.  But you can't do any of those things and love AND worry at the same time!  How amazing is that!!???

I'm not going to tell you that your husband absolutely won't have some moments of discomfort while you and Andrea are having a wonderful time on the Waters of Well Being.  Maybe he will, and maybe he won't.  And not to sound disrespectful at all.. but that's his pie! ::thumb  All you have the power to do is be your very best and most joyous self in his presence and give him the OPPORTUNITY to line up as best he can with that.  If you worry, you are only giving him that to line up with, and well.. that's not going to make anyone feel good!

And in his deepest places in his heart, where he is Source, as we all are, he is vibrating in synch with the most profound JOY, and that Source in him knows that he too wants to be Love, and for you and Andrea to go forth and find even more joy than ever! That's what he wants.  His Inner Being wants to line up with THAT.  So give him that chance.  And if he can't line up with it all the way... if he does have disorientation or even what looks like big bouts of confusion and hurt while you are gone... that's got to be okay... he's going to be using his guidance in the best way he can, and you have to do the same.

Just from knowing you on the forum I know your husband is, in his way and the best way he can right now, lining up with you having a glorious and carefree holiday!!

I can't wait to meet you and give you a big hug!!
Waters of Well Being here we COME!!!!!

Jody,

I know your post was directed at Elisabetta but I  just want to say how beautiful a post that was.  So articulate and so in the flow.  Wow!:beautiful:

I've been thinking about the word LOVE a lot recently -- it feels like that is what all of THIS is about and you nailed that on the head with this post.  Thank you.  You helped open my heart even more today. What a blessing.

To Elisabetta -- my heart is open to you.  I can't wait to meet you.  Have a safe and joyous trip.

See everyone real soon.

This is it everybody!! Some of you have probably already left for your days in Rome before the cruise... David leaves today - I leave tomorrow.

I don't remember what I've already told you on this very long thread, so I'll put it here again:

David and I will be at the Holiday Inn Rome West - our reservation is under Baron and Gordon, in case someone wants to phone our room.  I will send cell phone numbers to those of you who request by PM.  We will be using the transport to the ship that is provided by Worldview travel on the morning of the 29th.  That bus leaves the Holiday Inn at 12:30, so we have plenty of time for a leisurely breakfast.  Any Abers who would like to meet for breakfast, please PM or call our room at the Holiday Inn.

And of course, EVERYONE on this thread will meet at 3 PM on the ship - so gangway here we come!

This is going to be BEYOND FUN!  In fact... I think we are all about to take fun beyond where fun has been before!! ::cool

Wooo HOOO!!!
