As a lover of circulation in my space, I always have a fan on around me while I sleep, even on the coldest and most frigid winter night with an icy-cold wind howling loudly outside.  I can tell you that you as a chronic lover of moving air, that you will find that the room has more than ample air circulation.  There is lots of range on the thermostats and the room heats or cools very quickly to the desired temperature.  Even if you do need a fan, I understand that you can get one to use for the cruise at no cost.  But you won't really need it.

It feels just like the image below! :)

Hey everyone,

I can't believe that just 3 months from today my family will be flying to Rome.  We (myself, my wife, 5 year old daughter, mother-in-law) are getting there a few days early as we really want to explore the city.

We're going to be staying in a couple of the SY Suites.  It was amazing because I actually played the "Wouldn't It Be Nice" game before I called to make the reservation back in August to hopefully find out if it wasn't too late to get 2 Suites right next to each other.  Wouldn't you know it that there just so happened to be 2 SY Suites right next to each other and on the Starboard side which I was wanting!  I think it was Patti at Worldview that I talked to and she was very surprised that those 2 rooms were available at that time.  You've gotta love it!

It's our first cruise, first trip to Europe, and my wife's first Abe workshop.  It will be my second workshop as my first one is coming up this weekend here in Phoenix!  So basically, there are a lot of firsts involved in this vacation.

I think the SY Suites should be perfect for us.  Although it would have been nice to be in one of the SA Suites to enjoy the private lounge and extra space.  I'll just have to stick that in my VE for our next cruise!

I am very excited about the whole adventure and look forward to meeting everyone on the ship in just a few months.  Also, I just love this emoticon of the ship with the happy face having a drink as I can't wait to have a few of what he's having on this cruise!

Hi Kalena and all you others from this forum, who will go to the mediterranean cruise!I look forward to meet you all. We (Marbella and and I) are another mother/daughter-"couple" for the cruise. Its our first cruise, our first Abraham-workshop and my first flight:?.

More over I haven`t seen Marbella for 15 months......

We both are very excited and joyfull. She is so very kind to come first to Germany to me, stay one night here, and do this flight from Düsseldorf to Rome with me. One day early. The hotel is booked. And after returning to rome, she will accompany me. Will say: she has two more flights than she normally has to, just make me feel more comfortable.

Therefore: A big rampage of appreciation for my dear daughter Marbella

I had to chime in since all the mother-daughter teams are checking in!  :beautiful:

I too am coming with my mother and it will be our first time on a cruise and our first time out of the United States.  We are so excited.  It's coming quickly.  I'm sure we'll talk more in the future.  I'd love to chat with people about what tours they are taking, etc. and any plans they are making.  Feel free to PM me if you want to talk.  We are so excited.

Hi Jody,

My name was lopped off of Roll-Call during the hiatus last week so maybe the posting that I am looking for also was deleted. Do you or anyone else recall someone requesting to share a room in Rome after the cruise? I've searched the whole thread and can't find it. I even tried The Abe List with no luck.

Thanks for any help. ::TU

Just found a thread from Diane V who was looking for a companion for pre-cruise hotel stay. This is probably who I was thinking of.

A question for any of you veteran international travelers, what do you think of arriving at 7:50 a.m. the day of the cruise?  Is this sufficient leeway/time?

Hi Diane! I've got you back on the Roll Call!

Personally I think 7:50 AM is PLENTY of time to get to the Noordam! I'm sure most of the passengers will be arriving even later than that. However if you are coming from many many time zones away you might want that night before in a hotel to sort of rest up and un-jet-lag a bit before boarding.  Either way is perfect.

Hi!

I am new to the forum, but not new to Honest Abe, Jerry, or Esther.  I've never attended one of Their workshops, but always wanted to and am "beyond" words in saying that I am so excited to be on the Mediterranean Cruise in a "bubble" with Abe and like-minding-loving souls like you :)  My mantra lately was "to Expect a Miracle Beyond my Highest expectations" and throughout my day I would envsion pulling in energy of a miracle and within a short period of time, It happened (this cruise).  They say we are "Re-awakening" and "that energy is moving faster" and They sure are right! So I am pleased to say, put me on your roll call  :) and I am looking foward to reading more from this forum and seeing my fellow spirits (physical and non-physical) (Fun!) aboard the ship!

I appreciate, like the rest of the forum members, all that you, Jody, do for this forum and dedicating so much love and time into it.  I've only started reading a bit of it, but what I have read I can FEEL I found souls high on the emotional scale searching for and Creating their own truths.

In addition, I'm not sure if everyone booked through Worldview Travel, but their office sent me this e-mail about the Abraham-Tunisia Excursion....so I thought I would post it.  Subject: TunisiaAbraham Hicks Group Tour

Dear Friends, (From Ron @ Worldview Travel)

I just returned from a trip last week to Tunisia where I finalized the details for our special Abraham group adventure on June 5. We have designed this tour with the parameters of getting all participants back to the ship an hour before our workshop begins at 4 pm.

Tunisia is an exotic land that is filled with scenic beauty, friendly people, and rich history. Though I feel that the country is very safe for tourism, it is best that you experience the day in the confines of an organized tour.

Most of the regular taxi drivers only speak French and Arabic, and visitors may feel uncomfortable if they ventured out on their own.

This is the reason that we have created this very special group tour for our participants. It will be a fun day socially together and we have an incredible lunch planned for the entire group at a 5 Star resort.

Please submit your bookings by April 30, 2008 (space after that date will be subject to availability).

For those passengers charging this tour to the credit card on file used for your cruise you may easily submit your tour registration on the following website link after you review the attached details:

Best Wishes, Ron Oyer

>>>Anyway, the cost is $105 per adult or child.  I just thought I'd pass that info on to the people that may have booked directly with Holland America or with another travel agent.  I hope this is informative and not considered tooooo lengthy....

Worldview Travel sent me an attachment regarding this tour and it states:

We will begin our special day by visiting the incredible site of the Punic ports and Roman ruins at Carthage, passing by the Tophet, where human sacrifices were offered to the gods.  You will see the stunning Roman Baths by the seashore dedicated to the Roman Emperor Antonius Pius, which are the largest Roman baths ever discovered. Carthage was founded in 800 BC by the Phoenicians and it was from here that Hannibal began his legendary journey.  Carthage was once Rome's most dangerous enemy and bitter rival but the Romans destroyed and rebuilt Carthage in 146 BC, and it became the Roman Empire's second city after Rome.  Today the ruins, of this settlement remains scattered among the area's more modern construction.  Visit the site of the Accropolium (Byrsa Hill), which has spectacular views over the Mediterranean Sea.  For lunch we have an incredible stop planned for the group at the 5 Star El Mouradi Gammarth Resort hotel located on the sea.  Our entire group will dine together on a large buffet selection of delicious local cuisine including fresh salads, veggies, couscous, fresh fruit, bread, and a variety of fish and meats.  Local entertainment will be provided during lunch.  Finally, you will visit Sidi Bou Said - one of the most pictureesque villages in Tunisia - famous for its Moorish architecture of white houses with blue shutters covered in bougainvillea.  A short walk uphill will bring you to the village that sits proudly at the top of a cliff, commanding stunning views of the Gulf of Tunis.  Browse in the shops selling crafts and enjoy a mint tea at one of the cafes, or opt for free time for shopping and walking around. 3:00 pm return to the ship at the port of LaGoulette.  Our Abraham workshop begins at 4 pm.  Cost $105.00 per adult and child.  Friends or family not attending the Abraham workshops are welcome on this tour.  Please submit your reservations not later than April 30, 2008.  After that deadline reservations will only be accepted based on availability.  You can easily submit your tour registration on the following website link:  http://www.ronoyer.com/tour_form   All charges are non-refundable after reservations have been made.  Actual tickets will be included in a cabin delivery envelope delivered to your stateroom with your seminar badge.

As I said this was lengthy.... I hope it was of help to some that wondered what the Signficance was on that Abe Group stop :)

  We appreciate you!!!!

Hi All:

I have been debating my before and after itinerary for the cruise and finally came to a decision Saturday and booked my flight.  I am arriving about 8 am on the 28th to allow a day plus, to orient and explore a little and then after the cruise, will return home on Thursday the 12th.  I have a local friend who advised that I should allow enough time to see Venice for at least a couple of days since I am already in Italy.

I have yet to book anything yet and I know there are some good pre and post cruise rates for us through World Travel.  Does anyone out there have any advice about such a side trip?  Car, train...camel?????

I can promise you, no thoughts are unwelcome as this is completely new territory for me.

Love

Dinny

Hi Dinny!

I would guess your "local friend" might have the best advice or one of the veteran Europe travelers from the forum, but I thought I pass on what I've learned. This is nothing about Venice, but we were told you can take a shuttle from the hotel in Rome to the Colloseum and work your way over to the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and then to St. Peter's & the Chapel.  Our neighbors said that it is all within walking distance, about 2 miles, and that you need to have your knees covered for a woman and for a man full length pants if you plan to get into St. Peter's where the "fashion police" check your attire before entering.  We were also told that once you get off the plane that there is an atm and exchange office where you can get some euros and plan to get some some smaller euros at the exchange office for taxi's because we were told they might not have change to break the bigger bills that may come out of the atm machine.  They said to go straight to the atm machine and wait to get your luggage, because if you get your luggage first, there will be a  long line at the atm machine::money.  Thought I give you a couple pre-paving ideas.

Also, the pre/post cruise rates in the Wolrdview Travel were old, from January, and the rates are a bit higher.  For the Holiday Inn West,  we booked directly instead of with Worldview Travel, for >>>two rooms each night  for 5-28-08 was $697 and for 6-8-08 was $470.  It quoted $177 for one room.  We had to get two rooms as they could not guarantee two queen beds in one room.  We wanted to stay at one of the hotels that the transfers to the ship would pick us up at so we didn't have to scurry from one hotel through Rome to another for the transfer and possible last minute fuss.  The mental pre-paving works like a charm.

You said this was completely new territory for you and I didn't know if that meant Rome too or just Venice.  Thought I pass on to you what I have learned.  I hope it helps.

Smooth sailing to us all !!!!

Chow,  Joy

Hello Everyone!

Could anyone answer this question....When attending one of Their workshops do we receive a cd or dvd of our workshop afterwards?  I am envisioning that we do, but was wondering what They normally did for workshop attendees??  My memory in listening to one of the HayHouse programs of Them at the end They said something about a cd, but the recording was cut off at that point when the program was ending and I couldn't hear if they would send one or you could purchase one.

Thanks and much Appreciation for your help!

You have the option of ordering a CD of the workshop while on the cruise (it can also be ordered from their website afterward).

Love your NAME! ::hearts

Christine
