I'm sure we will meet on board, Gorgelle.  And that reminds me, I need to change my avatar!  Got a better one from the Tahiti cruise!

Elle,

We'll ALL get to meet one another on the first day of sailing.  We forum members traditionally have a meet-and-greet! I'll get it set up when we get closer to the cruise and let everyone know the details.  You can read threads from previous cruises to get an idea what's up with that.

Sharyn! Can't wait to see your new avatar! Will it look like this? David took this awesome shot of you and Vince in Tahiti...

Thanks for posting that picture, Jody.  I love it!

And now everyone knows what Vince and I look like!<VBG>

I uploaded my new avatar, but it doesn't seem to be showing...I dunno know why.  It says it's the current new avatar, but the old one is still showing up.

Sharyn,
I see your new one!! (and so probably does everyone else)... but normally it takes a while for the cache to clear on YOUR computer and the new one to show up.  If the new one appears in "current avatar", then just give it some time - try restarting your computer.

LOL!  Chronologically, I just turned 57, but I don't feel anything over 35 or so.  ::singer

AND...I just cleared my cache and now my Taha'a avatar shows up.  (And you can delete all this extraneous stuff from the Roll Call thread if you want.)

Not being a morning person, I signed up for the 2nd (late) dinner seating, although the nice man at the travel agency said the 1st (early) dinner time is more popular.

Now I'm second-guessing my decision -- any feedback?

Thanks,
Bob

We always choose the early seating because we love to have the rest of the evening for more fun and new adventures. That's just our preference.

The fact that you are second guessing your decision means you probably should look at it again. Which feels better?

Either way you can't get it wrong and you'll have fun...No doubt!

I just love cruising with Abraham!

::boatwave   On the road again.  ::woohoo::woohoo

My Fiancé (::heartsStevie::hearts) and I booked today!!!

It will be his first Abe cruise and his second cruise (we're going on his first in December).

I went on the Alaska cruise as a single with room mate match.  Someone posted questions about that so I will share here that it worked exceptionally well.  My roommate and I (Diana) got along great.  We both felt LOA would bring us a good match and our expectations were exceeded (as usual)!  Expect it to work well and keep your vibration as high as you can so a match to you is a pleasant thing.

They also arranged it so that the first night everyone at my table was a woman who came as a single -- that was great because it allowed up to know who other singles were.  I cherish the friendships that came from that first nights' meeting.

Even though Stevie is coming I loved the nightly dancing with all the other single lady cruisers so much I want to pre pave that again.  I can remember being asked how I could possibly dance in my heels and responding "I am in the vortex.  You don't think my feet are touching the ground, do you?".  Dancing was great so I want to use this Forum as a way for others who want to dance the nights away to figure out a good way to meet.  There were some ladies who did not find out that a bunch of Abers were dancing the nights away until the cruise was almost over on the Alaska cruise.

I like the late seating because then I can go directly from dinner to dancing.  If I do dinner/ and then a show and then dancing I feel tired by the end of the show from sitting there in a darkened room.

We're in C535.

By the way, Stevie is straight out of my Vortex.  Life is so good.

See you all there ~ Joyous Lady J (aka Jeanine)

Anyone doing anything the day before the cruise?  I am not taking any chances on a snow or ice storm interferring with our flight so we are flying in on the 22nd.  I booked a room at the Doubletree not far from the port overlooking a marina but I think Disneyland may be calling my name.  What else is there to do in the area?  We should have almost a full day there with the time change working in our favor.

The Carribean cruise is still in my escrow but I have to save vacation for the honeymoon.

Hi everyone,

I'm so excited myself (Tracy Friend) and Ana Aguirregabiria will be coming from London.

I was on the Alaska and Mexico cruises this year, so I hope to see a few familiar faces on board!

I am looking forward to some fun pre-paving.

I do so love the Abraham cruises in the sun.
