Hi, Virginia...last Mexican cruise I booked thru Princess an eco adventure in Puerta Vallerta...that was FUN!!! In Mazatlan one of our forum members got us hooked up with a horseback riding adventure from an independant source...lots of FUN there, also...we were met at cruise terminal...in Cabo we boarded a catamaran for whale watching adventure...independant also...I think Abe would say to go to the feeling place of it::woohoo :beautiful:

There are lots of cabs and buses at each port if you choose to wander on your own...nice thing about booking with Princess, they guarantee you get back to ship before we sail::thumb::wideKris

Thanks Kris,
Yep, good advice...I'll do what feels right and wait to decide. It all sounds just too great to me, just can't wait. What a great way to start the year.

:? I did not learn about TheAbeForum until I was on the Alaska cruise so I don't know anything about boas?

They can be fun but can you clarify?  Does everyone from the Forum wear a boa day 1 to help us identify one another or ????  What about the men?  Do they wear boas too?  LOL

I'm in for whatever kind of fun.  This cruise is going to be even more awesome now that I am a member of the forum.

::boatwave  I'm ready.

Happy sailing!

Hi Joyous Lady!

The first day of the cruise, Jody sets up a "meet up" of the forum members to get together and start the cruise off with bunches of new friends and faces to recognize throughout the week... last Mexico cruise, we decided to wear boas as a way to distinguish ourselves that first day and had many photo ops! It was soooooo much fun!

We traded and laughed and had a fabulous Bon Voyage!  The boas were just an extra added bonus! As a gift from one of the gang, I received a GORGEOUS white boa in the mail just a month ago... I consider it driftwood for the cruise!

More driftwood...Yesterday, after reading your "boa" posts Joyous Lady and India, I went for lunch and shopping with a friend...we had a fantastic time enjoying the sunshine and beautiful items to drool over...after lunch we passed by a shop that I haven't been in before...a big sign said 50-75% off everything in the store...of course, that quickly lured us in::devil ...the FIRST thing I noticed was one lovely, fluffy and gorgeous white with black tips BOA...which is now patiently waiting for the lovely sea air of the Mexican Riviera::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL

Just had to share!!!!!::grapevine::singer Thank you...I love you!!!!!! Kris

Yes, I've been wondering that also -- what do us men wear?

I'm leaning towards a lei (because, what guy doesn't like a good lei?)

Thank you, Virginia, for greeting me!::TU  I am so excited myself!  I dont remember if I ever being so excited for any of my vacations, maybe yes, but I am blind right now with my joy:))!

This will be our first cruise on an ocean ship.  We did river cruise in Russia many years ago, and I suspect that was 2 stars ship according to standards here.  But we had a blast, and I am sure we will have it again!::tramp.

I love dancing, but didn't have an opportunity for the last several years, maybe a dance or two hear and there, but I am looking forward now to dance a lot after dinner!::dancer

 Does  anyone like to dance?

What kind of music they have?  Is there a space or a dance floor somewhere?

And what's up with these boas?  If needed I will bring one, I guess, I am in for whatever you girls up to:kiss:

Oooh good question fromjoy! I do love to dance but I'm not sure they'd have a more 'urban' edge to the music :)

Be great to know what music there is and what the dance floor's like! x
