Last year in Ketchikan I had one of (if not "the") best day fishing of my life.

The Captain was wonderful.  We caught all five species of Salmon even though the season was past for King Salmon.

I am going to get in touch with him directly and arrange a charter with him again this year.

If anyone wants to go let me know.  It was an all day event with only about 20 minutes in Ketchikan.

They can smoke or fast freeze the salmon and will ship to arrive on the date of your choosing so you can enjoy your catch at home.

Love, Jeanine

There are always a lot of singles and the way they set up dinner is perfect for meeting others.  I have gone alone on two cruises and as part of a couple on one.  I have never been lonely nor have I ever felt left out of anything . ..  we meld into a big loving group that chooses who we hang out with vibrationally and the ebb and flow is beautiful.  One day someone might be your best buddy but the next day, as one is vibrating differently, you may not see that person at all.  The synchronicities are mind boggling!

I have been on many cruises but the Abe cruises are so much better; even better than cruises surrounded by my beautiful family.

Roommate for the Alaska Cruise

I booked a balcony cabin.

I don't smoke.

I will stay out late dancing but slip into bed pretty quietly when done dancing.

I drink but not to excess.  Two daquerri's in a 3 hour period while dancing would be a lot for me.  Last week (Carribean cruise) I had about 4 glasses of wine and 2 or 3 virgin frozen drinks.

I am pretty independent so I don't need my roommate to be my "buddy" but if we get along well I don't mind the the comparnionship.

I won't say I am real neat but I do keep my things out of the way (for example, my night table would have a pile of books/notebooks/journal on it).

I stay quite steadily in the Vortex and pretty much love everyone.

I also have a hotel room booked for the night before the cruise that I could share with someone.

Post here or PM me if you are interested.  I went last year and it was awesome.

Alright . . . Let's bump it up . . .

Slowjam wrote this in another thread but I think it belongs here to let others who are considering the cruise how awesome it is.

I was not planning to do Alaska this year for a variety of reasons but as I sat in the Theater as Jerry opened the Carribean cruise I realized that if I was not on the ship when it left Seattle I would not be happy and, of course, I have to be happy so {EASY BUTTON}  That was Easy.  Decision made!

So simple.

Want to know the absolute kicker?

This is so fun!

So Delicious.

Abraham said that as the problem is created (how to have the funds for this and for NZ & Australia & for the Panama Canal and new ideas and new abundance are already flowing to me so easily.  I opened a vortex and the abundance is flowing to me.

I love knowing how life works!  OMS   OMS  OMS

I better stop as I am becoming so excited! <wink>

Life is good and then it gets better.

SlowJam wrote: I had "vaguely" planned to do the two AH cruises that just occurred this last end-of-winter.

I didn't, for various reasons, and was perfectly ok with it.

BUT!

I have been getting texts, emails and other communications from people who did take the latest cruise, people who, after signing up on this board on December 20, 2009
and making my first post, I now consider friends.

http://theabeforum.com/forum4/14802.html

Friends who have seen me bursting with energy and joy, and friends who have seen me in a darker place.  Friends who have stayed with me, talked to me, left me alone when I needed to be left alone, friends who, when I left the board briefly and came back, didn't say, "Get lost, quitter." Friends who have helped me align when my lungs sounded like a busted accordion and I couldn't talk or sing, friends who had my back when I was hesitating about buying myself a new Orange Guitar and...it goes on and on.

Anyway---

You know if ya stand under a tree that gets hit by lightning, you're apt to get hit, too?

I'VE BEEN HIT BY THE ENERGY!

Everyone I've heard from in the last 72 hours is so alive, jazzed, passionate and excited. I can feel the bounce in their steps, I can picture them dancing through their houses, saying hello to the flowers of spring, throwing their arms up to the sky and saying, "Thank you, life!"

Their energy surges through my soul, and burnishes my own excitement about...everything!  And I feel as if I have just come off a workshop myself.   I just...know.  Know it's on its way.  More peace. More love. More touch. More music. More money (lots more money!) More ecstasy. More chances to make the world a better place---by example.  More interesting and wonderful people.

I feel grateful and jazzed and excited and free and handsome and rich and full of wonder.  Strangers have hugged me in the last 3 days as though I am their dearest friend.  (Anyone remember when I posted about being ignored?) Texts and emails and phone calls pour in daily---people just saying hello and "I love you."   I am closer to my wife, the lovely Mrs. Jam, than in all the 13 years we've been together. We are no longer hostage to one another---she is a star and so am I, on our own, and when we come together, it's magic.

Thanks, Abers, for a great three months!

Looking forward to the next three months, six months, a year! Longer!

Ain't no tellin' what we cain't do together!

XOXO SJ

Just saw this quote for the day from Abe:

If your desire is strong enough, it doesn't matter what your beliefs are. If you have a desire that is strong enough, that desire will be the dominant vibration, and it will over-ride any other vibration that you have.

--- Abraham

This is so perfect for me becoming a cooperative component to this adventure!!!  Can't wait to explore Alaska with my cohorts!!!  I think I will find a treasure today that will cover more than both the Alaska and Aus/NZ cruise.

I can see myself holding the giant sparkling ruby in my hands as I see all the facets reflecting my beauty!!!  It is like a heart beating in my hands!  I carry it up from the depths and expose it to the sun and it radiates and showers the world with LOVE and WEALTH!  YAHOO!!

LOVE YOU ALL!!!  ::money

I'm booked!!  I am so looking forward to this cruise!  Jody can you add me and my mother Donna to the roll call please ::nod  (Hubby is staying home with the kids this time)

We did the Alaskan cruise in 2008 and absolutely LOVED it.  At our last port in Alaska, Ketichan, I think, hubby and I were walking around and found a lady sellng glass beads that she and her son make.  She also had these little glass balls with colors she had swirled inside them.  Of course I had to buy one, they look just like this. ::vortex1a  So I have my very own vortex sitting on my dresser to remind me of the trip.

Looking foward to hanging out with lots of new and old friends in the vortex. ::grapevine

Ok, on excursions: I found this in Alaska 2009 roll call:
You can still get off the ship at the ports and have a great time.  Juneau has a cable car just near the pier that you can take to the peak and get an amazing view down the mountain.  You don't need to sign up in advance for the excursion - you can just walk up and ride.  Also, there are excursions you can to last minute IF the spirit moves you - there will be operators at the gangway to tempt you, and you can go to Mendenhall Glacier for just a few dollars.  Even on the ship while we're underway, the excursion office will be open and there will be someone to give you advice on what to do in each port.

For the helicopter ride, there are kiosks in Juneau that can take your booking on the day.

Here is a thread on excursions from the Alaska 2007 cruise - http://www.theabeforum.com/forum3/82-1.html

Ok, after reading the excursion pages, i now interested to go trekking on the Glacier in Juneau:

the 2005 juneau excursion was helicopter flight and landing on mendenhall for a 2 hour trek on the uneven terrain of the glacier (outstanding)

the sights were amazing once you get above the mountains and see just how vast it is. it's more than just a straight flight to the glacier. sometimes they will fly up glacier valleys looking for bears and goats etc.

or, maybe go lazy and do this:

Mendenhall Glacier & Alaska Salmon Bake

From Rick: There is another float plane trip in Juneau to the Take Glacier Lodge. It flies over the same glaciers but is ten minutes more total flight time.  Perhaps because of the landing on the Taku river at the glacier lodge. Cost is $72 more and you get a fantastic salmon feast and an amazing wilderness setting with a few trails and a good chance of seeing black bears - see my pictures from 2006 Juneau excursion folder. While inside the lodge feasting, one of the workers there (i think his name is Mike) told some stories about the history of the lodge and added in his best attempts at humor. Nice entertainment while eating. It is remote. It is beautiful. It is very memorable. Nice to know that places like that do exist :beautiful:

And in Ketchikan I am pondering on this: the Magnificent Misty Fjords by Floatplane or Rainforest  Canopy & Zipline Expedition

"more money...want some" came from Caribbean cruise thread??? I read it on

the March meditation thread...it REALLY is that EASY...::nod

My first Abe seminar was in Phoenix four years ago...a gal sitting in front of me

had gone to Alaska with Abe...she said to "hock the house" or do whatever it took

to get on the ship...it was that worth it...after three Abe cruises, I KNOW it's

true::thumb There is NOTHING more important than having FUN with like-minded

beings...in the womb of our ::vortex1abeing smiled upon by Abraham as we enjoy the

ride on the river of creation...:beautiful::kiss:::iluKris

I did the Misty Fjords by floatplane and boat ride at Ketchikan last year and really enjoyed it, especially getting to sit in front next to the pilot.

Thanks, Charlie! Can you describe more what was that excursion, what you saw and what you felt?  I feel like starting to prepaving for the cruise and getting super excited! Because I booked long time ago, I kind of forgot about it, but now I really want to concentrate on the great feeling of anticipation of something that incredible!::boatwave
