Does anybody have any suggestions about a motel that I might stay in on the night of Saturday, July 19 in Seattle? I'll be flying in to Seattle Tacoma airport (not like crashing into it, but like, to it). So far on the previous 4 Alaska cruises I have flown in on the day of the cruise and this time around I want to see how it feels to get there earlier. Because I can never friggin sleep the night before, either from the anticipation or because I'm worried I'll miss my flight out of Syracuse. So at least this way if I can't sleep I'll know it's not the flight worry. ha!
Hey, this is the roll call thread. This doesn't go here.
The Fairmont is in downtown and is really beautiful. Also the Edgewater, if view is what you want. But if it was me, I'd stay at the Fairmont (used to be the 4 Seasons Olympic). Also Pioneer Square has some nifty benches, as long as you can find one that isn't taken.
SOOOOOO looking forward to seeing you on this cruise, Rick!
Love and Hugs,
Carol

Carol, he hasn't missed an Abe cruise to Alaska yet... and every summer it's the same decision based on....- will his clients survive his time away? WE know the answer... he will too... just give him time... and let's make him really jealous of our excellent time on the Mexico Cruise! He-He....
(David go away and don't read this thread for a while - don't you have some work to do? Your customers know you didn't croak... so...shoo shoo! )

Hi Guys! I wrote the last note on this thread when I was rushing off to work and wanted to share my excitement with someone! I am home now and debated about whether or not to share this piece on an "Abe & You Thread" re living in abundance or just to write on here. So, I decided upon this.
I have always wanted to go on a cruise to Alaska - long before I heard of Abraham. Lately I have really wanted to go this coming July with Abrham and even though things are tight financially right now, I knew I had one option for some dollars.
The dr. that I rent space from has doubled (literally - multiplied my rent by 2!) and he wants me to sign a 2 year lease. I have been doing the mental thought work that we Abe folks know of and staying (for the most part) in an emotional place of believing all will be provided as I just focus upon staying happy. (rather than afraid - which is something I know how to do well when it comes to $$$)
I pulled a little bit out of a retirement type account - no penalty - and thought - If I am really believing I am going to be fine - then I will be fine in retirment as well. I also decided I would rather be watching my dollars in retirement with wonderful memories of the trip I took to Alaska with Abraham than live in scarcity now in fear of retirment.
It is kind of interesting watching life unfolding - of the three therapists that rent from the doctor - two are leaving as a result of his requests for rental increase. It will be interesting to watch how he now interacts with me. I believe I can handle the rent increase however I am not going to sign a two year lease. Also, I am receiving calls from new clients - yep even at Christmas time - referrals from another doctor!!
It is really fun visualizing myself in Alaska! Yesterday morning I went for a walk and felt like I saw some driftwood - a neighbor has used a totem pole to fix his mailbox in place! I think this exciting plan will assist me in staying downstream as life/I expand(s)!
I am also excited about leaving hot and steamy Florida for the last week of July to go to Alaska!!! Also, it is Peg's birthday week too! (She rolled her eyes when the travel agent said, "Oh we enjoy celebrating with folks by providing them a cake!" She hates that attention getting hullaballoo!!!
Anyway, I am so excited about this cool cruise!!!

That will be perfect!!! Actually, I was surprised when the travel agent brought up her birthday, because her birthdate is actually Monday after we leave the cruise! But I figured, well, if they want to celebrate we can too!
