I had heard rumors that they were not going to come back to beautiful Asheville North Carolina and when the schedule did not show a meeting in May I thought it might be true.

I am estatic to see that they will be there in October. . . Just in time for a little pick me up between the Caribbean cruise and the Australian & New Zealand cruise (I may sneak a TX seminar in as well in May).

It is two days and not on a weekend.  Anyone interested in sharing a room the night of October 12th?  I have my LOA study group here tonight so I will check with them as well.

<skipping off into the sunny afternoon happy and content knowing I will have more time in the lovely presence of Abraham and Abers>

Hey David,

I did not know we were neighbors.  Will you be in Asheville?

Guess I will meet you before then as you will be on MS Eurodam <grin>

I'm in Northern VA, not exactly neighbors, but might as well be.  I don't see me in Asheville this year.  I made the trip last year with Jody and went for the big one, did 2 nights in the Inn at the Biltmore Hotel as a gift to us.  Sweet place for some deep pockets.

::money and well worth it!  :)

I was there for one day in May.  My baby graduated high school on Friday and, although I was torn, her graduation won out over the seminar.  I love the Biltmore and it is close enough for a date place and lovely to hike, even sometimes in February.  (I am speaking of the house tour not the hotel for dates.)  Asheville is so beautiful.

Are we allowed to pile in more than two people in a room?  It'll be like a huge slumber party.  I'll bring the nail polish!

EZ-PZ there are some great hotels and suites next to the Biltmore property that are very affordable. And if you want to party with a bunch of Abers, one of them has 1, 2  and 3 bedroom suites with full kitchen, living room, patios...etc

Pm me if you want the link

If anyone lives between Chicago and Asheville and wants a ride, holla!  Looks like I'm gonna do the All-American roadtrip to the Magical Biltmore Estate!

Ok, tell me now what is special about Ashville workshops?  I don't get it.  I liked Boston workshops, for example, too.  Is it the special place or what?  I may consider to get there::chin

Asheville, like a cruise, is just something you have to be there to appreciate.  The seminars are wonderful  They ALL are, but the place itself is gorgeous beyond description, and so being there itself is a lift.  Combine that with the feeling of being a billionare, with beauty the likes of which you have not seen until you go there and see it, and then you will get some idea of how they are so special.  The drive in and out of there is spectacular, and unforgetable.

When I was there last year I looked at moving there.  Yes.. it's that good.  I'd move there if the conditions were right, that is for sure!  It's a great little city with all the right aspects.

Oooh, oooh, oooh!  I reeeeeaaaaaaalllllyyyy want to go to Asheville!  I have actually been feeling drawn to the place for a few years now.  This seminar is a grand excuse to go - I just decided right now, I'm definitely going!  So if anyone wants a fun roomie, let me know.  Most excellent!

Ask and "most excellent" is given.  You are number one on my list of one.   No kidding.  Come on down!  This is one fantastic place. Heaven on Earth.   I'll post some pictures I took last year in a while.

Instead of pictures, there are FAR too many of them to choose, here's a rough video clip of a drive we took on the way to dinner.  It gives only a slight idea of how nice it is.  Enjoy.

David!  Thank you!!!::TU

That brings back memories; I was so excited driving up to the hotel last spring.  I knew it would be life changing and it has been.   Such a joyous ::downstream trip down the river and so many wonderful things pouring out of my vortex since May.  In three weeks I will sail on my 3rd Abraham cruise (and 4th cruise since May) and it all ties back to the seminar at the Biltmore last spring.

Does anyone know why they are cutting back on Asheville since I have always heard it was their favorite venue.  Also why the two day seminar?  Just curious.

I know it's a smaller room, so they are limited in space.  It's a particularly popular place because of it's beauty.  No other venue is like it.  But as far as any other questions, I don't know that anyone has qualified answers on it here.  It's also kinda off topic.  :)
