Ohh, and not to seem girlie, but what are we wearing? ::dancemicky
I wanted to wear A dress or top that showed my new Pure Positive Energy tattoo but I read on the site that they recommend bringing A sweater because of the air conditioning so maybe something more suit like instead of sun dress like. I don't know... Let me know what your apparel will be...
don't we just love life::wide

Hi Joy - can't wait to see you on Saturday!

Ammanda - yes, I have heard of the lime green ribbon. I'll go to the store today to find it as well.

What to wear, what to wear, what to wear? I'm actually going shopping today so I'll let you know what I come up with. Right now, I'm thinking of something comfortable yet pretty and probably more on the casually elegant side. Yeah, that's what I'm looking for and I know I will find it!

What time are you going to get there? I've heard that if you want a good seat you should get there early. Evey's thread on here has great info. I'll find it in a bit but got to go cause my daughters want breakfast!

Great minds  think alike. I'm going shopping too, and I definitely think it's more comfortable dressy as apposed to jeans... I'm sure anything is exceptable, I just want it to be perfect. ::woohoo
see you soon, Oh and I asked one of my abe friends who said it's 1st come 1st seated so get there early. Maybe 6:30 am? I don't know but we'll figure it out...
I'll look for your green ribbon, I can't wait!!

Happy Shopping Ammanda!

Here's the link to Evey's thread about preparing for the workshop for us first-timers (virgins:))

http://www.theabeforum.com/forum3/16287.html

Joy, do you have any tips for us since you've been before?

I'm staying at the hotel so I plan on being in line early. I'll let you know by Thursday what I will be wearing so you can join me in line when you arrive.

Yeah! This is going to be soooooo much fun!!!

I'm excited about going.

On our way down we're going to (detour) over to sonic in peabody ma which is pronounced pih-boddy; we don't have one within a hundred miles of our house. That's my favorite place down that way :-) --> After that we may stop by the Verizon Theater and watch the killers staring Ashton Kutcher & Katherine Heigl although we could always catch that on the way back. Those two should be really funny either way. The name of that movie is misleading -> it's a comedy. Then we'll check into the hotel at around 4pm on Friday.

Not much planned that night because I'm gonna be there early just in case they let us in earlier then the documentation. I have my question just in case I get called on:

Do you have your questions ready?

My most important 'vital' question would probably be: "Our cat, "smokey" wakes up every morning at daybreak. Can you tell us all why?" //

Just kidding. I've actually heard people ask those sorta questions on the DVD.

But he really does wake up at daybreak 'meowing' at the top of his lungs and he doesn't go back to sleep until we wake up, then he snuggles in the bed all day by himself. It's really a burning question  :-)

My real question:

1# Do you see a way for me to be more aligned with my vortex, 'specifically' Is there something in my current vibration that 'you can see that I can't' that I need to work on. In other words what can I do.

Now I know the typical abe answer of "just get happy" but I'd be interested in the specifics for me which Abraham can see because they can see the vortex.

After the event we'll probably check out the BBQ joint down the road -- I love BBQ.

And yes I called it an event. The Event -- seems like a movie doesn't it.

Things I'm interested in: Do her eyes really dilate? Does she glow? I've heard people say that online and I thought to myself "oh I gotta see this..."

I could ask about our cats being left alone "Will they be safe?" But I have a feeling my question will be addressed even if I don't get called on.  I'm just making jokes here folks but lets hope for an inspirational moment or two that day :-)

Yeah Aspen! I want to sit next to your group because I need someone to crack jokes all day!

Will you be wearing the green ribbon or should we look for a tophat or something?

Hey, maybe your cat was a rooster in a previous life?

I love your question about your specific vibration. I'd love to know the answer to that as well! They always say, "Stop doing that thing you do that messes up your life" or something like that. BUT, what is that thing that I do? I obviously don't know because I keep doing it! ::LOL

Wow, this is becoming very very real to me now! In 2 days I hop on a plane to Beantown. I think I'll be flying so high that I won't even need a plane!

I'll probably be very abscure in the background. This is my first abe event and I'm very excited. Specifically about so many abers with similar thoughts in the same room.
If I vibe with people then I do and if I don't then it's no biggie. Happiness is always an inside job. I did the "I Can Do It' conference and was a little taken back by how different personalities react to each other in confined spaces.

One lady set in the row ahead of me and bless her heart she couldn't shut up for her life ( she was so excited) and the man beside me directly behind her actually told her to be quiet. He caused a scene in other words. I saw that lady in tears that night in the hall and that man never knew that he had upset her. Now that being said I don't know the man's story either. I just wanna have fun ya know but I also don't wanna end up like either one of them. I don't want to inadvertently upset someone by blocking their view and I'm a fairly big guy so I'll probably be off to the side. I know that I'm just one of many looking for answers. I hope you enjoy the event. Boston is a wonderful area.

Totally understand Aspen! I didn't actually mean that I'd be telling jokes during the seminar! :) I'll be too busy basking in the fact that I am actually there!

LOA will work everything out and I know that we will all have the experience that we are intending! Some of us will have the green ribbons on so feel free to say hi if it feels good to you!

Hey, if it feels good, can you post your notes/impressions after the workshop on this thread? Would love to know what people thought.

Are you down for a few days or just for the event? My reason for asking is if you have extra time the area in ct is very nice. There are two casino's in close Proximity and their are buses from boston to both casinos for like 15 dollars round trip. Don't get me wrong Boston is great too--- the area outside of the green has some great food. The green;  I mean Fenway Park-- I'm not a fan of baseball but that place is kewl.

I'll jot down the questions -- maybe together we can fill in some of Abe's answers.

That is one of my possible questions!!!!!!!!! ::wow I understand the processes in theory and understand that I am the one uncooperative component for any thing. So, when ever I think about what I want to ask it's more can you/ will you read me and tell me how I'm doing.
Okay, I just deleted my silly, kinda out there, question... I'm not sure if I'm ready to ask.....On to other important issues... I got the cutest light green suit w/ adorable matching shoes...    And I got lime green ribbon and safety pins, and plan on making some for us. If anyone wants I'll bring some extra ones...
okay, see you Saturday.::group

Hello everyone,
I'm Jen, I'm Ammanda from Vermonts sister and I'm extremely joyful about going to my first gathering. I have been involved in the Abesness for about 8 years and have grown so much better at recognizing what I want and what I don't want in my reality. I am expecting to fly out of the seminar with giddiness and confidence! Look forward to seeing you all there, this is a long time dream come true!

HI Jen! Welcome! Can't wait to meet you on Saturday!!

Ammanda - great job on getting your outfit and ribbon! Can you bring an extra one for me? Thanks!

I decided to go more casual in my outfit. I will be wearing jeans but dressed up a bit.

My plan right now is to get in line around 7-730am. I filled out my registration form so will be in the "Fast Pass Lane" line if there are 2 separate lines.

PM tonight if you want to do any more detailed coordinating. I will check emails first thing tomorrow morning then I'm off to the airport and probably won't check again.

2 more days! I'm so happy happy happy! Annoying, I know ::devil

2 days and counting my friends. Here is my final pre-pave on this thread since tomorrow is a travel day for me.

I know that all of the arrangements for tomorrow's travel have been made for my safe and efficient arrival in Boston and to the hotel.  I look forward to all of the wonderful sites I will see in the city and the thrill of exploration and adventure!

The weather will be fabulous for my intended activities on Friday and Sunday.

On Saturday morning I will wake up refreshed and in the Vortex! I will look for things to appreciate and I will milk and bask in my Vortex throughout the entire day and for months and months to come!!

I know that I will enjoy talking to fellow Abers in line while we wait for the workshop to start. I'm eager to meet new friends and delight in our diversity. I know that LOA will work out fabulous rendevous opportunities and that everyone on this Forum who wants to meet up will easily be able to do so.

I will listen in the workshop with an open and allowing mind and heart. My dominant intention is to raise my overall set point and to close the gap wherever it needs closing. I intend to receive answers to all of the questions that I have written down or that I have thought previously. I expect clarity of mind and AHA moments that will catapult me to new heights of understanding and knowledge.

I expect to laugh and have fun with Abraham, Esther, Jerry and all of my fellow Abers. I expect to be easy about all of this and not make it a big hairy deal.

I love that I have attracted Abraham to me and I know that it will be a unique opportunity to FEEL the amazing energy in that room. I know that my body will pulse with energy, that I will feel it flow through me, that I will have a total awareness that I am Source Energy from my head to my toes. I am open to Source expressing through me in any way and I look forward to being surprised by Source. I want to see, hear and feel Source in new and fresh ways.

I want to be so fully connected to my Inner Being that I will never doubt again that I am Source Energy and that I am powerful and that I am loved and that I am valued and that I am worthy. I will never again doubt that LOA works every single time or that I can trust the laws of the Universe. I will never again doubt that I CAN do, be or have anything and that my desires are ALWAYS answered and that EVERYTHING always works out for me!

In short, I know that Saturday marks the beginning of a new chapter for me in my life. It will end the days of seeking and searching and trying and striving and doing. It will begin the days of BEING and unshakeable self-love and a time of great allowing and appreciation and a absolute certainty that life is supposed to be fun and there is nothing that I should be doing and that WHEN I FEEL JOY, I AM FULFILLING MY LIFE'S PURPOSE!!

Let the workshop begin! I am ready!

I actually think I'll bring a lime green wash cloth instead of a ribbon.  Don't think I'll have time to make it out to the store today.

Hi Everyone,
I have been away from my computer for a couple of days.
Can't wait til the workshop tomorrow - I will be wearing capri jeans and a "Life is Good" white T-shirt.  I like to get there by 8:00am and I actually enjoy the "waiting in line" time.  It's a good time to chat with everyone.

It's been a hectic week and I look forward to having an awesome day with Abraham, the Hicks and all the Abers.
Sleep tight!

Joy  :-)

Hi Niki, Ammanda and Lisa (and fellow forum buddies),

It was really fun to meet you at the Boston workshop!  I am still on Cloud 9 (even though it's already been a week since we were in Boston).  Abraham, Ester and Jerry were inspiring, as always, and I came home with an even deeper understanding of the Vortex and its significance.

Even though I didn't get in the hot seat, my questions were answered - at lunch, I actually met a woman who got in the hot seat in the afternoon - she asked a question about imagination (which was similar to what I wanted to ask).  We did not talk about that question at lunch, so I was pleasantly surprised when she asked it!

I love writing in my Book of Positive Aspects, and I am trying to limit my TV time (my husband usually watches the news and I try to block it out - singing "la la la la" in my head, especially when the news is negative - which it usually is).

Life is SO good and fun - more so now that I have embraced Abraham's teachings.  I am trying to get into the Vortex at least once a day and it is getting easier to stay in there a little longer now that I have remembered "who I really am."

Thanks for the awesome notes (Aspen and Fireball) - I can't wait to get my CD of workshop and re-live it again!

All is truly well!
Love and Peace to all,
Joy
