| I'm interested and I'm shooting rockets of desire for Disney in December 2008 (that's my preference anyway). I'm certain that at least one of my kids (ages 17-23) will join me. Looking forward to it with great anticipation!

YES, I will play at DISNEY WORLD.
My Ex and I used to go there for vacations 3-4 times a year with our 3 kids, they each began their Disney education at 5 weeks of age.
We loved it, everything was easy, just park the car and enjoy. What a great life!!!!
An Abe Fest at one of my favorite destinations with my favorite people sounds like incredible fun!!! I would probably plan to be there for 5 days, I have a 15 year old daughter.

Jody, if you are going to do the end of November, it should be the VERY end because plane tickets are expensive during holiday weeks (not to mention the crowds at the airports), so for those of us traveling from a far, it would be great if the trip was planned AFTER the prices go down and before they go up for Christmas!! Just my 2 sense!!!
THIS IS GOING TO BE SOOOOOO FUN!!!!

 Yup! The last week of November (Starting the Monday after Thanksgiving) is the least crowded week of the year at WDW, and the Christmas stuff is all up and I think they even have the Christmas parades.. so it might be a good choice for when to go.

I am crying with joy at the thought of bringing my daughters and us being there all together. It is joining the most beloved people in my world ALL TOGETHER! What more precious gift to give myself for Christmas?
I love me and I am giving this gift to me, by allowing the universe to deliver it...

Sharon, of course as moderator I have made a studied decision that you MAY say that...
I hope you still feel that way after it takes me ever so long to decide on the dates for the meetup...
I want to invite everyone to send positive aspects of their favorite date... be it week starting the Monday after Thanksgiving, the 3rd week of December (actually the week leading up to Christmas Eve - Dec. 15 to 22, approx..., or first week of January (Jan.3-10). All of these are low crowd weeks and don't conflict with any A-H workshops on the mainland. (Still not positive about the Jan. dates. 2009 calendar has not bene released yet.
I do want to decide soon so everyone can plan and we can start investigating accommodations, etc. Also, reservations for things you might want to do with young kids coming along, such as meals with the Princesses, etc. do have to be made up to 6 months in advance!
So... keep the discussion going - and.. anyone else want to meet us in the happiest place on Earth?

Hi Jody;
I like the week after Thanksgiving or the other one in december, I will love to go when the christmas decorations and lights are up. In my opinion is when Disney is more beautiful and joyful. Well I love Disney in any season, but Christmas is my favorite. I just love the Christmas spirit and all the special events that they have  In my opinion I think Disney on Christmas time is a great time for our forum meeting.
