Boston Workshop 6/28/08
Hello, everyone,
I had all great intentions of taking copious notes, but was so mesmerized by Esther that I never even started taking any. I couldn’t take my eyes off her. To be in the presence of such wise and generous energy was beyond words. Esther is one of my favorite people ever. Maybe because it was my first workshop… I don’t know. I was afraid of giving my attention to writing for fear of missing anything. I'll just tell you a little of what I remember.
I especially love how Abraham will give us every angle possible to hammer a lesson home. I need to hear things over and over and in different ways to make them "stick". They have moved past the upstream/downstream analogies to really pushing the “vortex” concept. I love this!! Esther would make a large circular motion with her right hand and arm to illustrate our vortex -- the “pulling power” of our vibrational escrow. Then she would stop and turn slightly to her left and start beating an “air drum” with both hands, illustrating our tenacious need to beat the drum of “what is”. The space between the “air drum” on her left and “the “vortex” on her right is the “gap” we need to span by constantly reaching for a thought that feels just a little better. They said we have to give more “airtime” to telling the story in your vortex than beating the drum of “what is.”
They went on to talk about our vortex and how magnificent, “big”, and beautiful it is and that the only thing that is missing from it is us!! And the reason that most of us our missing is the need to defend our “what is” – our need to be “right”.
We must beat the drum of the story in our vortex!! It is calling us and pulling us in and we just have to let go of the drumsticks of the “what is” drum!! Tell the story of the life you want to live. Tell the story of something good in every situation. Tell the story of what you’ve put into your vibrational escrow. Beating the drum of “what is” keeps you apart from it. Look at any “what is” and appreciate it as the marvelous tool that it is – it caused you to launch that rocket of desire that is now in your even-more-magnificent escrow!
One woman on the Hot Seat wanted to write. Abraham pulled out of her her fear of not having her work read by anyone. (Which was AMAZING to me, because it would have been my question if I made it to the Hot Seat.). Abraham walked her through “reaching for a thought that feels a little better”. “You know your stuff or you wouldn’t be pulled to write it.”, etc. (paraphrasing – not a direct quote)
And my favorite thing they said all day is that “you get closer to your vortex through hopefulness”.
Anyways, sorry I didn’t take notes. I can’t wait til the fall when they come back to Boston.

Oh, my goodness Jo - please don't apologize for not taking notes! These comments you have brought are wonderful!! You've written a very descriptive explanation of how Esther uses her body language as well as her words to translate Abraham's "blocks of thought". Excellent, thank you!!

Jo thank you soo much for posting this! I was just writing and telling a new story and having a blast with it and decided to read this and that's one of the things you wrote about! I love Abraham so much!

I was there too and it was beyond wonderful!! I felt like such a powerful vortex - all of my questions being answered and the people sitting on either side of me AND behind me all called to the hot seat! It was just amazing how at every break, everyone I spoke to felt as though Abraham was speaking directly to them. My soul sister Alex (rocknrollgoddess) was there with me and we prepaved an excellent workshop - she got up on the hot seat to ask her question and tell Abraham "You wicked rock!"
I was buzzing the entire time, and saw soft flashes of light around my seatmates just before they were called up. AWESOME!!
I took a ton of notes after the opening sequence (the first hot seater of the day was sitting on my left).
There was so much totally new stuff that came out - Abraham kept commenting on it - and I love the new idea about a car being out of alignment - when you are out of alignment you have to pull over and take care of it, because things will just get worse if you keep going and try to speed up. (It came from a recent vivid dream of Esther's.)
Lisa, I loved meeting you! What a surprise to be recognized right off the bat from my avatar!
I will try to get to some notes tomorrow - but I just got home and need some sleep! I can't wait to hear how today's workshop went!

Jo, that's awesome! Thanks for posting what you remember. I had a feeling you would be too caught up in the moment to take notes on your first visit with Abraham It's good... you don't want to miss a thing!

I'm SO excited for you!
That is so cool about seeing the light around those who are called to the hotseat. I think this means you are very TITITO!
Abraham tells us that they choose the person who literally "lights up" for them in the audience.
And did you meet Scotty? You probably saw him standing at the door to the workshop. He has told me that at every workshop, he'll see a glow around the heads of certain people... and sure enough, they are called every time!
And I KNOW that he is tuned in tapped in turned ON!!!
Looking forward to your notes!!

For the lights - when Abe was scanning the audience and the gaze landed on them, that is when there was the soft flash of light. I felt so very TITITO during the workshop. I physically felt an electrical surge thru my body as Abe was there and I felt completely connected. (During my first workshop last year, I felt an electrical tingle run up my left arm from my pinky finger each time Abe came in - this time was a full body sensation.) There were also moments during the workshop where I had different thoughts/questions running thru my mind and a separate "voice" answering me. I would love to bathe in that energy daily!

I have tons of notes, but so many of them were just phrases and bits and pieces. Following are some of the more coherent pieces from the first questioner asking about relationships (my new friend sitting on my left)- some of them are direct quotes, but because they are out of the overall context they aren't like real quotes, ya know?

This place is big enough for everybody to get everything you are wanting!
Each of them focus on what they want.
Definition of an uplifter: in alignment with your inner being.
Abe was talking about how she had already put details of someone into her VE
Told her to “Be in your VE for him!”
(on a subject that you are really wanting) Leave the subject alone altogether.
Never think of that again and it will come to you relatively quickly.
Your VE is still swirling strong! (Swirling vortex image)
Do you get that it’s all interrelated?
Nothing ever turns out different than you expect.
Expectation is desire mixed with belief.
Talked about questioner “arguing for your limitations.”
After it manifests it’s easy to believe it. (Tell the different story now.)
Most are living and then explaining – being HISTORIANS – Stop it!
Become prophetic – become a story teller.
Comparing a creating a movie or play to our life: Somebody is directing it. Somebody has an idea first.
You are Activating a manifestation based on expectation.
By telling it like it is – keep failed stuff active in my vibration.
{Abe helped her tell her new story and appreciate her prior relationships and the rockets of desire they inspired.}
The reason it hasn’t come is I have this little thing stuck in my VE – that explains why it can’t.
Vows – mentioned the “I kind of like you. Let’s see how it goes.”
Then added “I am not going to hold you responsible for how I feel.”
When you find him: You will not have a feeling of wondering – you will have a KNOWING. There will be no hesitation.
You are in his VE like he is in yours.

Ahhhh yes, a wonderful weekend of workshops, indeed!!
Jody, I wore the lime green ribbon. Although no one else did, a few from this Forum did come over and it was wonderful to meet them and some new friends.
Stefanie and Alex - glorious meeting with my two new sisters - it was lovely to have chatted and laughed with you both!!! I felt like I knew you both for years.
Libby and CarolSmile - ditto. Libby you are so beautiful and are just glowing all the time. However, brief, it was lovely chatting with you. Carol, even though you had no clue as to who I was, your forum pic gave you away - you are so beautiful, too, and I LUV your energy!
Although I am still soooo much processing (and taking my sweet little time at that) all of the amazing words from Abraham, what I can share that is sticking out clearly for today:
1) Be IN Step 3!!!! This is where it all occurs.
2) Everything ALWAYs works out for you!!!
3) On Saturday, Abraham shared that 80% of the room was at least in HOPE on the EGS - how cool is that??????
4) Only tell the NEW story, the new story, the new story...........
Glorious weekend, with glorious Abers. Looking forward to next weekend in Stamford, too. Anyone else going?????
