Hello beautiful people, I have just booked my airfare and Abe workshop ticket for a day in Melbourne in Dec. As this is my first workshop, I was wondering if anyone would share their experiences of attending a workshop. The day starts at 10a.m. and finishes at 5p.m. Does Abraham give long talks? How much of the day will be devoted to question and answers? Are there books and CD's for sale at the venue?
Do you leave the venue feeling ? Can one purchase a recording of the workshop if you are one of the people chosen to ask a question and want to hear the answer again and again?
So many questions I know - but I am so excited

You're going to have the best time!!
I attended 3 workshops in May - 2 in London and 1 in Dublin.
Does Abraham give long talks? How much of the day will be devoted to question and answers?
Abraham always starts on time. There are 4 sessions to the day. Each session is approx. 70 minutes long. There is a morning and afternoon break, with around 1.5 hours for lunch. Almost all are Qs & As .. and there is the wonderful 25 minute or so opening by Abraham as you will find in all of their CDs.
Are there books and CD's for sale at the venue?
Yes, all their audio books and books - recent cruise sets and DVDs.
Do you leave the venue feeling?
Yes and no ... if you are vibrationally up to speed, yes. If not, you could feel zonked out or get a slight headache.
Can one purchase a recording of the workshop if you are one of the people chosen to ask a question and want to hear the answer again and again?
All who attend the workshops are given the option of purchasing the full workshop recordings. They cost $40 per day (includes postage to anywhere around the world) and are sent to you the minute they're done.
I recently received my workshop recordings ... so these ones took around 6 weeks after the workshop.
I'm sure you'll have a great time!!

Hi Dianne! What fun! Abraham in Melbourne! I've been to one workshop and will be going to another next weekend in Denver. I think they probably run quite similarly at all of them. Jerry says a few words, then brings Esther up and she brings in Abraham. Abraham speaks for a time, I call this the "monologue," but Abraham being a collective consciousness it's hardly a monologue.  The rest of the day is taken up with questions from the attendees. They will have a segment of refreshment in the morning and in the afternoon. And of course segment of lunch. They have quite a few tapes and books, etc there for purchase and everyone is able to purchase a complete recording of the workshop. Which was wonderful for me, I was so excited I hardly remembered a word!
I'm sure lots of folks will share their experiences. Unless you have assigned seating, I would get there early and "stake your claim." Also, it was a little chilly for me, so I was glad I took my sweater.
Have a wonderful time! You'll love it.

Something else you might like to know. Many people go armed with a list of questions hoping to get asked to go on the hot seat.
I wrote down 3 big questions (before I went to the London workshop) that I wanted answered although I never put my hand up!
I know Abe hears the questions vibrationally, and what happens is that someone will get up on the hot seat and ask your questions for you. (There is a collective consciousness thing going on) It's very cool when that happens! And it also means you normally hear the answer clearer than if you were in the hot seat (because of the excitement).
I spent quite a lot of time writing my questions down and being clear about what I wanted to know. It worked! Almost like magic, those that got up in the hot seat were using many of the words I had written down.
And then, when I went to the Dublin workshop .. I said to my partner who was there with me, "I hope Abe addresses how we can find our individual purpose." ... and WOW! The first lady in the hotseat asked Abe "How do I know what my purpose is?"

Hi Invincible, Great info.  Thankyou! Yes, I have heard Abraham say that they know what everyone is wanting to know and that everyone will get their answers whether they are in the hot seat or not. 
I would also love to know how to realize one's own individual purpose. When you have time, I would appreciate hearing what Abraham had to say on this topic.

To cut a very long answer short ...
Our purpose is Joy!!! And you find that by finding better feeling thoughts and taking any inspired action ... and not giving a rip to what anyone else thinks. Your IB leads you to what is right for you because it feels good when you are facing the direction of what's in your VE.
I haven't received my Dublin workshop CDs where that was asked and answered ... I'm looking forward to hearing it again.

Hi Dianne
You are going to have the best time ever. I went to the London and Dublin workshops and I am still on a high. You are going to just love every minute of it. If you are excited by the thought of going now, you will be even more excited by the time you get there. I loved Abe's introduction, it kind of settled everyone, then you get to put up your hand an maybe get to be on the hotseat - whether you are or not doesn't matter, your question will still be answered.
I had the most fun, I couldn't believe it when the day was over. The joy of those workshops spilled over into every part of my life. Being in that energy changed my life... and I'm sure my energetic body forever. I still glow and smile when I think of that wonderful experience.
I hope that you have a joyful, fun, exilerating, fantastic time
with all my love

Hi Dianne
I'm from Sydney and I will be attending the Sydney workshop!!!
Last year I was in the US and I attended the San Rafael workshop. I had an injured ankle at the time and was in a bit of pain and so it was a bit of a challenge to concentrate on everything that was being said. The one thing that I remember most is that the energy of the room was so incredible! It felt wonderful just being there.
And when I got my CDs of the workshop weeks later, I listened to it again and felt my energy level rise just from listening. It felt like being in that room again!
And there would be things that you hear on stage that will only resonate with you much later on when you're listening to the CDs again. I still listen to my San Rafael workshop CDs regularly and I am constantly amazed at how much the messages make sense to me now (which didn't resonate with at the time of the workshop).
And I met some really wonderful people! Aber people are really nice people!!!!
Be sure to enjoy the workshop and bask in the presence of your Inner Being!

Hi T, thanks for the reply. Aren't we blessed to have Abraham through Esther coming to Australia!!! I will definitely be purchasing the workshop CD's. Great to know my questions will be answered whether I'm chosen to sit in the hotseat or not.

I also was at the Dublin workshop. I've said this before, it was so weird how I actually found out about it. I kept asking everyone I met there, how did they know it was on. I would never have known but a friend happened to mention it to me when I brought up the subject of their books. Anyway, off I went, not having a clue what to expect and on my own.
I had the best day. It was incredible. I love the sound of Esther's voice and everybody who has said before about 'your' question being answered is quite correct. Even on the small pondering I had about what Gerry was doing, someone actually asked that very question and it was answered. It's such a good feeling.
You will have a ball and really, we must have huge appreciation for the great distances that Gerry and Esther travel. I never thought I'd get to see them in DUBLIN. What a privilidge!
I went home elated and I can't wait to get to another one.
