Oops, this is the third time trying to send this post - maybe 3's the charm!
SHARON! I'm so sorry I never actually put your name on the roll call! But it's there now, so better later than never? David and I are really excited about tomorrow! Doors to the room will open around 8, and you can register and pick up your name tag as early as 7. We'll be there bright and early and excited to meet you all!
We're going to have a great day tomorrow!

What a great day! I don't have my notes in front of me, but we all laughed a LOT. Life is supposed to be fun -- and it IS!!!
It was great to see everyone who was there -- and David concluded the festivities in the hotseat with a great question about politics (appropriate for a D.C. gathering!)
More details soon!~

It was so great to see Catherine and Sharon and Pia! Jerry, if you were there we seem to have missed you this year - ??
We also saw Steve (AttractionFactor who forgot to add himself to the roll call  ) Everyone was having a fabulous time, and as Catherine mentioned, Abraham was FUNNY - !!

Hi Jody - It was so great to meet you. This was my first and it was wonderful. I remember from the tapes Abe saying that if you don't get called on, don't worry, your question will be answered (or something like that) so as I left the forum, I was a little dissapointed I wasn't called on, but as I was driving home, I put on one of the CDs that I had bought and the EXACT question and answer was on that CD. Pretty dadgone cool. Looking forward to seeing you and everyone else at the future meetings, who knows, maybe a cruise if I can get my husband "on-board" to this Abe thing eventually! Sorry I missed everyone at the DC workshop. My wife had to travel for business and I had responsibility of my 7 yr old little girl. I think I could have found someone to take her for the day if I really tried but I think we both wanted some good daddy-daughter time. I was still "there" however if you know what I mean.

OK, I didn't take many notes, but I'm delighted to share what I do have:
I didn't really make note in my notes about who was in the hotseat for them, but I'll throw in a little bit about that as I remember. We had questions about the economy, channeling, dealing with annoying others, parenting, and politics -- a great mix.
A theme: Appreciate the value of Step One (contrast/asking/desire). Truly work to find a way to embrace it.
They reminded us that the wanting and desire that we have (because of contrast) is delicious in itself.
They used a term that I, personally hadn't heard before: the Vortex of Mass Consciousness.
There is no regression from expansion. As you expand, you can't take it back, you can't go back.
They talked about how people ask, "How've you been?" or even "how ARE you?" and suggested a better question to ANSWER would be: "Ask Me Where I'm Going" -- and describe your vibrational reality. Tell how you've been sifting through contrast and looking at the reality that serves you best.
As we sift through contrast, we should MINE IT for thoughts of improvement -- even as we speak to others and hear about their contrast, that we should be in an automatic place of extrapolating what, therefore, their positive desire is and just SEE that for them/ourselves as it comes up. Be a selective sifter. Listen to what they don't want; extrapolate what they do want and then focus upon THAT. That is what healers do = the ability to hear through the ears of Source.
Under any and all conditions I can keep my balance.
Experiences of having a "thorn in your side" can be looked at as situations that "harass you into expansion." Learn to think, "you're driving me crazy, but I know good will come and thanks for the harassment." KNOW "that really was good for me." Give your undivided attention to where you're going. If it feels bad, "you grew and you didn't go." Let go of the struggle of trying to control all of the conversation.
Think: "I feel great, and I look forward to your feeling great, too."
Stop facing reality, face your Vibrational Escrow.
Find something that is working the way you want it, and focus ENTIRELY there.
Think of something that will every time get you in the Vortex, and appreciation is the strongest thing -- appreciation of what is working. Once you create your list of desires, let go of the list and trust the Law of Attraction to bring it to you.
Give up control of the uncontrollable, and that includes EVERYTHING!!!
JUST FEEL BETTER. Let is all go. Remember you can control the way you feel: I want to feel good because it is natural that I feel good.
I love because I am a lover and not because you are lovable.
Adapting yourself into alignment no matter what is going on = UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.
Don't get too worried about whining, after all "can you really stand in Step One without whining a little bit?" AND, "being annoyed with whining is whining, too!!!" Make peace with where you are. Step One is OK and important.
You know you've really "got it" when whining doesn't bother you or even feel like something that needs to be dealt with. Embrace it: it is part of Step One.
Treat others like their Inner Beings treat them. Get to the place where your FIRST, knee-jerk reaction is to love others AND to feel that everything will turn out all right.
Everything is a vibrational interpretation.
A strong determination to wrestle it to the ground only amplifies it. Better to have a diffuse awareness that you are not with your Inner Being.
Best stance for a parent: help children to seek their own guidance. (Sorry I didn't have better notes on this exchange. It was a truly amazing exchange between a mom and Abe about her 17-year-old daughter. They really went places with that conversation that I've never heard before. And, it seemed to hit the entire audience most powerfully, for we are all either or both parents and/or children!!! Much appreciation to the wonderful mother in the hotseat. That exchange brought me to tears for sure!
They spoke about connection to Source as being a moment to moment thing -- either you are or you are not. It is not a connection you make that remains, you must keep the connection going.
A couple people asked about channeling. Abraham said that if you bring yourself into alignment and all feels great, then you are operating from a Greater Perspective. If it doesn't feel great, then it came from your own consciousness. (I think they actually said "came from your mother." They were full of fun.)
Esther says before she allows Abraham, "Abraham, I want to speak clearly your words."
We should all aim toward accepting the normalcy of aligning with Source.
The first guy in the hotseat asked about the current financial situation from the perspective of one who has led 400 clients consistently well for many years. He asked how to keep Abe in all this and how to talk with his clients. Abe's answer was AWESOME.
Later, when Abraham was talking to someone else in the hotseat, they said that if we could see what has gone into the Vortex of Mass Consciousness, it would be on the order of another Big Bang -- it is that big.
And, our dear David really stirred things up as the last one in the seat -- over politics.
Abraham said they are neither left nor right when it comes to politics but would look at More or Less Aligned (more or less happy -- as we see it).
They emphasized that our diversity and differences give us strength.
And, we each individually get what we individually attract through the LOA, regardless of who is in the White House.
Oh, they said much, much more, of course. These are just my highlight notes.
