| Yes,I can hear it whenever I focus on it.Thats why I was concerned prior to the meditation discussed earlier.I thought it was from the cellphone tower across the street until I started listening for it in other physical locations.I have heard all over the island. It changes pitch when I meditate. It becomes a much higher pitch. I never noticed before now that it is higher in the head than regular hearing.I totally know what you guys mean by saying that.

OK - I just relaxed and tried it again here at work. I CAN hear it! But if I try too hard it goes away. Maybe that's why it is so much easier for me to hear in a quiet environment - because I tend to be more relaxed there.
Cool. Thanks Iba - this discussion has been helpful!

That is a WOW. I love that - The Voice of God.
I used to think of it as the Sound of God but lately I have been thinking of it as the Sound of Source Energy. (Same thing right?) Like this huge Energy Stream flowing all around us and through us and we can hear it if we pay attention. The buzz is kind of an "electrical" sound. And I really think we are literally, for real, hearing the Energy Stream flow.
NOW HOW COOL IS THAT?

This is right up my alley. Ok all, I have had that buzz or pitch with me since I was a kid. I always thought it was the TV until I realized years ago, the tv was never on. It has just stayed with me and I listen to it or should I just say I know it is there. There are times it is loud and piercing and times I don't hear it at all. It has been something I have been used to hearing for years.
???? Do you all ever sit anywhere in any position and you start to move inside of your body? Just to describe.
I was in my car going through a possible repossesion for nonpayment. As I was talking to the loan people I started to breath funny and then I felt like I was rotating out of my body. Kind of like if you take your hand a make a C then take the other hand and trace the inside of the C. I was moving in my body like that. I felt like I was lifting out of my body.
One time I was at my desk reading something on spirituality and this happened. When this happens I hear that buzz really loud or I should say I buzz or feel and hear the buzz really loud.
Has this happened to anyone? At first I thought I was stressed out and that is why it happened. The times after that I was not stressed at all. It just happened.
Anyone?

The buzz is the frequency of the blood flowing through the arteries in your body-we all have it--all hear it unless we are hearing impaired, and even then, most can hear it but might not be able to hear other audible sound..
i have heard it since i was a very very young child--sometimes the frequency is low and its a hum--other times its high and sounds almost like a pitched tone--like a ringing...it is the frequency of life in your body...
its blessed to have these wonderful experiences and i am so glad you shared it with us bryan and so glad you are on the board!
just go with the flow and do not force anything--and what will happen is your life will unfold exactly as it should

gnw--sounds like the initial movements into out of body experiences--i have read a lot of people feel like the spin out of their bodies--others come out via the crown...
cool beans!

The buzz is always there, waiting. I meditate daily and most days, after 20 minutes or so, the buzz (more like a rattle) comes very peacefully. I'm happy to have it and never ask. If I'm in the right place, we find each other.
A suggestion I'd make is that instead of relying so fully on focused meditation once a day, try some walking meditation or brief meditation loops during the day. These are like tune ups and keep you from getting too far off your set point. In this type of meditation, as time is available, you pause, breath and repeat your mantra, whatever it is for as long as you have available. I've found bliss on many New York City street corners and in lobby's while waiting for meetings. I've even zoned in while idling at a meeting where I had to attend but not participate much.
You must remember that the buzz or source or whatever is not some remote thing that you have to go far to find or to be found. It's always right there in front of you. Don't make such a goal out of it. Goals suck. Just accept. Be. It's right there.
Thanks for sharing your amazing experience. It sounds like you might've been singled out for something special. Good luck!

What makes quiet meditation such a challenge for me is that I have a lovely little condition known as "pulsatile tinnitus." What this means is that my artery is very close to or pressing up against my eardrum, so I just about constantly hear my heartbeat in my right ear. Loudly. Loud enough so that sometimes I have to press on my neck to get it to stop so I can hear people talking. lol They can actually perform surgery where they clamp off that artery (seriously!) but that seems way upstream to me.
So I use a meditation tape (the cheaper version of Holosync) with a rainfall sound and that blocks out the pounding. Unfortunately I can't hear the buzz that way.

Thank you!! Im surprised by everyones interest in this subject.I find it very encouraging. I too have always heard the buzz since early childhood.I was talking to my boyfriend about it Saturday. Its funny because he too has aways heard it and we both as children would become agitated or very angry when we would hear it.As a child that sound to me meant I was bored.I now find it very soothing and focus on it regularly.
I had a very unusual experience yesterday.I was in a very relaxed state gardening and out of nowhere my hand started moving on its own! As funny as this may sound it kind of was not that big of a deal.I am not going to rush this.I know that I am in the process of blending my physical self with the my nonphysical self.Or the realisation of that.I have been given gifts of visions of unzipping myself and allowing the fullness of who I am to be expressed.I have also been having dreams of birth.I know this is a really new time for me and Im staying open to it.
Do others feel this way?Do you feel a big change coming, the next step in personal evolution or am I projecting my personal feelings on to mass-consciousness?
I think that the world is opening and people are waking up.The popularity of Abraham at this time speaks volumes.I am very thankful to be alive in this time and space.

Hello Bryan, and welcome.
You have described almost exactly what my experience has been with meditating and connecting to my inner being / Source. My teeth also buzz.
When it first started I was afraid and then I found Abe and read of Esthers experience and realised that all is well.
At any time I choose now, I can empty out my mind, and I use a technique learned from Wayne Dyer and when it is empty I fill full up of Source / my innerbeing. I now converse with my IB in all types of situations and had an experience the other day where I asked my IB to see through my eyes (I was looking at some treetops blowing gently in the breeze) and my inner self wept with the beauty of them. Of course, the outer me says wow, they were nice but not enough to weep for lol.
I feel my IB wanting to speak??? and occassionally I have an amazing sensation through my jaw, mouth and ears but then I get a little fear come in and it goes away. I will work on that soon.
Thanks for letting me share my experiences and share yours also.
Love Anni - whose heart is pounding sharing this with you all.

Sunshine Spirit. Thanks so much for sharing your precious experiences with us. I read your post hours ago and it keeps coming back into my mind as I go about my day. I used to feel really really close to my Inner Being too - and sometimes it is hard to talk about, or to share, with others. Because it is so precious.... and tender somehow....
Someday I will get back to that space again - that closeness with Source/Inner Being/God. Who knows... maybe tomorrow?
Hope that made sense.

You know, that is exactly how it started with me when I first learned meditation! For me these things are more like positive side-affects (in a lack of a better term ) rather than the goal of meditation, but they can be fun! One thing that has been a bit of a challenge for me was finding a balance - I would either get so carried away with meditating that I wouldn't pay much attention to the physical world (and then my meditation teacher would always remind me that I was born into physical to be physical and not to ignore it LOL) or I would completely stop it which wasn't good either. Now I've finally found a balance.
I'm sure there are sooo many wonderful experiences just waiting for you! ::yeahDo tell us about them, do tell

Hi Anja,
Thank you for your comments.I have been meditating in cycles since about the age of 4 or 5.I didn't realise that was what it was called, I would go in to my dark closet or into the bathroom and turn the shower on and just do it.
The hand shaking incident occured not during meditation,But while gardening. It was independent of meditation.New things are happening everyday. Now that I am looking from this perspective,There have been numerous anomalies throughout the years.I just wasn't ready to tap in to them or even acknowledge them.I didn't understand what was going on and would dismiss them out of fear.I do understand a little more now.Its bliss.I am now allowing myself to feel them without fear or judgement. Its like a box has been opened and that box is me.
I focus 95% of my thoughts and intentions in the physical and always have. Meditation for me has always been a tool.It has never been a form of escapism for me.It was instinctual for as long as I can remember. I have done in it in cycles throughout my life,As I suspect everyone has. They just didn't label it"Meditation".
I have gotten over attempting to force it and I have just accepted these experiance as they are. Thank you Anja.
