Hi everyone. I am 24 and am new here. I first found out about Abraham-Hicks through on-line research of the Law of Attraction. I really feel that I want to improve my life. I used to think this came through outside sources but now I understand that it is completely internal. I am doing my best! And am learning a lot!

Thank you everyone! I appreciate it very much! And thanks, Leslie, for the comment on my username. I am Jewish and I love reading into the mystical side of Judaism. How well does religion and Abraham's philosophies work together?? Because I do attend synagogue but I do also feel strongly about the Law of Attraction and manifestation as well as the Vortex.

There is so much that I appreciate about Judaism. My sister is marrying a guy who is Jewish, and I'm so psyched that I will get to be a part of Bar Mitzvah-ing their children!!!! that said, I'm not the best person to answer that question, because I don't really know the dogma.  But YOU  are.  Just see what resonates with you, and have fun with all of this!

What I meant is I am wondering if Abraham's philosophies discourage having faith in a religion or not? I am not familiar enough with his teachings. I do think that religion can be a beautiful thing and I feel that there is harmony between both of my beliefs and in fact I find these beliefs in Judaism, too. It works for me. :beautiful:

Abraham says there is goodness in every religion.  In fact, I started a thread on this topic:

http://theabeforum.com/forum2/17850-1.html

Abraham doesn't encourage or discourage belief in a religion. It's all good.  As long as adherence to a religion feels good to you, then it is the right thing for you--as you already know!
