Hi, i'm douglas from singapore. I'm used to have business of my own until everything collapse. i lost my business my marriage my house my car bank is forcing me to pay for loan, my credit card loan is pushing me to the edge and i think of end my life. As this though keep coming up to my mind. I don't want to give up. Why must i keep up. I have to fight this war. I read all the Stuff until i came across the laws of attraction. positive thinking is good however when the debts collector keep calling for payment how am i going to sustain my life?
i need help i keep thinking i can get the lottery to get a winning however it seems that the lottery always walk from me. I can feel that the whole world turn it's back on me. Everytime i think of good stuff and doing well something will screw me up big time. From time to time i have been finding for help if anyone out there see this message please help me.
I sure hope you feel relief soon. I had a little trouble in the past and was not able to stop thinking and worrying about money - that just got me further and further into trouble.
I found relief by sitting down twice a day for 15 minutes and writing about things I appreciated. I write about people, things, pets, even food and landscapes. Abraham teaches this process in the book Ask and It is Given.
"Closing the Gap" might be another process for you to try. This process is not about fixing the problem; it's about feeling better. So the work is not to get more money, it's to feel better about being broke. Sounds crazy, huh? But, you have to feel okay with your situation and your life as it is right now, before you can change your situation. As Abraham says, "You have to make peace with where you stand." Abraham also said that if you need to do this process over and over until you begin to accept and stop pushing against the situation, then keep repeating it.
I learned this process from a DVD I purchased, but I know it's also in one of their recent books. Here's a brief summary from the DVD:
1. Write about about what happened. (the contrasting situation)
2. Write about how this made you feel.
3. What desire(s) did this cause you to feel? What clarity of decision did this cause - in other words, how did this cause you to become very clear on what you do want?
4. Now represent on your paper where you are emotionally and where you want to be.
5. Now, without writing anything about solving the problem, write down things to soothe yourself. Things that will help you accept your life as it really is right now.
Here are examples that probably won't fit you, but this is how I'd start -
Life is a river and things flow to me and away from me. Everything changes. This situation will begin to change as soon as I allow it to. I really appreciate knowing that I can change my life by focusing my feelings on the good things in my life. I have been pushing against the lack of money in my life and I intend to stop right now. I accept my situation exactly as it is. I don't like it, but I accept it. I have enough money for dinner and I'm going to enjoy every bite. I'm grateful that God/Source is completely good and loving. Even though I can't see or feel the good in this situation at this moment in time, I know there is good because God is good. Only love and well being flow from God to me so I have faith that the good will begin to show and I will suspend all judgment about this situation.
Your comments will be very different than mine. Just find good things to think about and try to think about them a lot.
