Hi, all!!! Thank you SOOOOOO much for this website!!! You have no idea how grateful I am to have found this. A friend of mine let me borrow her movie, The Secret, a couple months ago. I had previously seen What the Bleep Do We Know, and kind of understood the message. But, watching The Secret and talking to my friend, really sparked a new interest in me. I have been trying to find what makes sense to me for a long time and I feel so alive now. I can't wait to learn more and to have many of my questions answered.

Hi Purple Lover (did I get that right? or do you have a purple liver--ha ha ha )- Oh you have no idea. I am so glad you are here. For me, The Secret is sort of a "Dummies" version of Abe's teachings. I think it is wonderful, and uplifting and it has been the vehicle for many people to find the law of attraction, so please don't get me wrong- I am not knocking The Secret (not at all- I own a copy and love it), but you are now entering into the Real Deal. Buy some of the books (Ask and it is Given is my favorite) and begin to know that you are the creator of your experience. Also, have fun with this forum. I used to only be in the "Abraham and You" section, but lately I am so all about the "Rampages of Appreciation" page. Welcome. All is well. You are loved!

I love purple so much, I'd happily have a purple liver! And a purple lover, for that matter...!

Welcome to the Forum! I love this place so much, it helps me get back into alignment all the time.
And I love what you wrote, Beth, about spending more time in the Rampages section! I'm still in the Abe and You as my fave section, but it's SO nice to know that as good as I feel now, there's still way more ahead of me! I can't wait until the rampages section is my most frequented section, my favorite section, where I spend most of my time!!!!!
I am so happy that the Secret is out!
It brings so many wonderful people to Abe. Hooray!!!!

xoxoxo

Yes...it stands for purple lover...because I LOVE PURPLE! Anyway...thank you both for your well wishes. I have watched every video I can find on YouTube about Abraham, I have listened to all of the audio files on Abraham-Hicks.com, and I am on book 2 of the Sara books. I plan to get more of the books after I finish this one...I got it from the library.
But, even though I am new to all of this, I feel like I've been using it my entire life. For example, when I was little, I used to look at people and things and whisper in my head that I love them. I stopped for a long time, but in the last couple of weeks, I started again. It feels good to feel love.
I have a lot to work on, I know, and I am extremely grateful and appreciative for this forum because I know I will find assistance here.

Purple, that is uncanny you used to whisper that to people..I felt it strongly when I was pregnant. Now I send love and blessings to everyone, even grumpy people..

I think that means your are what they call a "natural aber." That's cool. They tell us that their teachings are a reminder of what we knew when we were born into this physical reality!

I have a question...I'd like to purchase some Abraham CDs or books. I see that "Ask and it is Given" should be one of my first choices, but please give me some ideas of where else to begin my search. I'm interested in purchasing some CDs of different seminars, etc. But, just don't know where to begin. Also, where would I buy these? Are they only offered through abraham-hicks.com?
Thanks a million!!!

The Abe-Hicks site has everything. You can also look at Amazon, Hay House Publishing, and I believe that any large chain (Barnes & Noble) should have a varity of choices.
