Hi there, i cant believe what a relief it is to find this site full to the brim with other folks that know about the abraham teachings. I only stumbled upon esther and jerry and abraham about 3 weeks ago while looking for some answers about synchronicity and oh my god i feel like ive discovered the biggest thing ever! the only drawback has been that nobody is lighstening to me, ive been telling friends and co-workers what ive found out and they just dont get it? Its so frustrating cos i know in my heart that this is is going to give me control over my life (for the better i hope) anyway i discovered abraham then the next day found out about the secret, so up till now i had just watched every vid clip on the net and sort of pieced everything together, then on sat my best friend (despite her not believing any of it) gave me a set of abraham books for my birthday, and oh my god i cant put them down, this stuff is just so amazing but cant discuss any of it because nobody i know is interested? I dont know if its because nobody here (england) has really heard of abraham or the secret, in fact untill i stumbled across them by accident id never heard anything either. So i would just like to say that its great to find a site full of you wise and wonderfully lucky people. Ive been putting everything that ive learned into practice the best i can and even though its only been a few weeks some wonderfull things have happened and my whole outlook is different, im looking forward to going to work and people and situations that made me angry just dont bother me anymore, ive got this amazing feeling that something fantastic is gonna happen and that feeling is unbelievable, my only regret is that i never discoverd the abraham teachings 10 years ago, but ive just turned 37 and i honestly believe that my life is just about to start, sorry for rambling on but its just an absolute pleasure to put my thoughts down and know that im in the company of like minded people. Im going to now go and read the other threads and see how youre lives have changed through abraham. Best wishes to you all

I love how your post is just bubbling away with excitement and enthusiasm. You will fit in well around here.
I think at one time we all feel that no-one else knows this stuff but you will find many of your countrymen/women on this site and of course, Abraham, Esther and Jerry have just toured your lovely country. I heard they had the largest workshop they have ever had there too, so there are lots of others you just have to allow them to come into your experience - and being here is a start.

Thanks anni, i was intending to try and get to the seminar in london, but i had for some reason got carried away with everything, that i didnt realize the significance of it all, really daft of me cos i know it would have been amazing. Having said that i know that i will get to see them so im not too dissapointed, and in the meantime ive got the time to absorb everything im reading and then im sure i will want to ask them loads, whereas the other week i was running round like a headless chicken watching the secret and the utube vids of esther and trying to put it all into practice lol ive hardly slept haha. Even though its only been a few weeks, theres been loads of opportunities come up that i just know would never have happened if i hadnt discovered abrahams teachings, i feel so lucky thats why im getting frustrated with my friends cos i want them to have the same feeling but im afraid they think ive lost the plot lol,i dont blame them cos this is so far from my usuall way of thinking that its hard to take me seriously, anyway my plan now is to just let them see for themselves how fantastic my life gets then they will be begging me to tell them how i done it. Why on earth is this not being teached in school? it just seems so significant, i cant get my head round why its not being shouted from the rooftops, anyway ive a tendency to go on and on and on lol so i shall say goodbye for now, and thanks for youre message, stay happy and well  Linda

There are lots and lots and lots of threads and posts on here asking the question about how to tell others, why to tell others etc. and it all comes down to exactly what you are saying - lead them to it through your example. You life will rock and they will wanna know why.
Why is this not being taught in schools, you ask. I recently attended a seminar down here called 'Happiness & It's Causes' (I think you have it in London yearly also) and it was a lot of talk about 'positive psychology'. All of it known to me through Abraham and other spiritual and personal development teachers. However, now the scientific community is 'studying' it and coming to know and prove what we already know.
Most exciting at the event was Dr Martin Seligman who is spending months here at one of our top notch schools and teaching the teachers to integrate it into their teaching. They and I have hopes that our government will run with it and start putting it into all schools. So it is starting to happen just through a 'scientific' method.
They are scientifically studying meditation, ways to have true inner happiness such as practising gratitude or appreciation, positive thinking, visualisation and lots more. Some of the processes they are 'scientifically' recommending are very similar to the Abraham processes.

My daughter's third grade teacher used something similar to one of Abe's processes called the Prosperity Game as well as had the students make vision boards... Just little twist to help them learn Math!

| Hi Natty, thats great that youre wee girls being taught parts of this in school, i wish id been taught this years ago, but then i might not have seen it so clearly, im so amazed at how things change for the better so fast, its not as if ive been sitting in misery hoping for a better life, i just accept what is and get on with it (until now) ive just got such a happy feeling, and the anticipation of whats to come is like being a kid at christmas time, lol. Im about half way through ask and it is given, but when i got tired last nite i stuck the secret on again, anyway you know when the guy says start by asking for something small like a cup of coffee? well i thought thats a good idea except for i work in a restaurant and the waiting staff bring me a coffee at the start of my shift without asking so why ask for something that happens anyway right? but this morning for the first time ever, another chef came up to me and said would i like him to make me a cappiccino WOW, ive worked with him for years and hes never done that, doesnt sound that amazing but trust me its another little indication to me that im on the right path. Anyway it was nice of you to send me a message, i hope youre having as much joy from abrahams teachings? The only drawback to all this up till now was not being able to talk about it without getting strange looks so now that ive found this site everything has just got 100 times better, many thanks to you and everyone else Linda

Hi Ocean, i see youre in the uk, it seems to me like the abraham teachings are common knowledge in america but not over here? I honestly have never heard their name mentioned over here, thank god for utube lol. Anyway hope youre having loads of fun with it, ive just opened one of those readers digest letters? came 2day, you know the ones promising £300,000, now ordinarily that would be in the bin within two minutes of opening it BUT not 2day lol, well you never know anything is possible right? That's OK, dearie... Eventually you'll come to a point where the strange looks don't bother you anymore... Actually, if you're like me, you may even start to feel a little amused by them!

you are totally right- the best way to bring Abe to your friends is by your example . I know at first you want to shout it from the rooftops and its frustrating when they dont get it. Not everyone is ready though .
But I am sooooooooooooo excited for you ! ...and you will find soooooo much love and help in this forum . Its THE best!

Hi Pam, yeh i did decide that i would try my hardest to just wait and let everyone see for themselves but i get so excited that as soon as anything happens that i link to having discovered abraham i rush off to start preaching all over again lol, my best friend who had been trying her hardest to seem supporting, she even bought me the abraham books last week even though shes not interested, well shes just manifested her childhood sweatheart back into her life after no contact for years and years, now i know its because of what ive been telling her regarding law of attraction etc etc even if she doesnt believe it, ive never ever seen her so happy and possitive, its so exciting seeing things unfold like this, ok thats my best friend sorted ive now just got to work on everyone else i know lol so much for me trying to keep my gob shut eh? Anyway thanks for youre message, what a beutiful wee baby? and youre in a beautifull country, id say youve got the law of attraction nailed by the looks of things?, take care and thanks again for taking time to send me that message  Linda

I do not talk to people about Abraham unless they specifically ask!
In eight months, I have had one person ask me about law of attraction and she really was ASKING!
You will know when someone is really ASKING!
And she is now loving Abraham!

| Thanks Lucy, i wish i had youre self control when it comes to allowing friends to approach you with questions? I promise myself every nite that 2moro im gonna keep my thoughts about abrahams teachings to myself, and the longest ive managed so far is about 2 hours lol even that was difficuilt for me. I just expected everyone to see that what ive discovered is so life changing that they would be as overjoyed as me, so they will come to see the benefits of LOA but at a time thats right for them, so thanks for youre message and youre lovely welcome Linda

People will see the change in you and they will benefit from your new vibration.
The more tuned in, tapped in and turned on you are, the more others will benefit from your gaze.
I have never really felt an urge to share Abraham, for me it is for me me me me! It is exactly what I wanted, what I chose, but everyone is different!
I have buddhist, christian, muslim, jewish, agnostic and athiest friends who love life and are doing amazingly without me!
Keep the focus on the one person who affects your reality, you!

"Entering into our own spirituality is a private journey. Each of us will be drawn to a different gateway to begin on our personal path to awakening to a greater experience of ourselves.
