Hi There,

I'm Suz, I'm British and live in France with Griff and our 4 children (9,5,2 and 8months).

I bought the book AAIIG a few years ago because it was reduced in a MBSbookshop. I liked the idea of manifesting desires but found it a bit far fetched, how could 'all be well' when it so obviously wasn't so I put the book aside.

Recently I was reading a book about healing the past and future and that led me to think about manifesting changes I wanted in my life by writing about them in the future as if they have already happened. It takes the pressure off makes letting go to worries etc much easier.

Also in the past couple of months a member on another (unrelated) forum had 'All is well' as her signature and that phrase has been sinking in to my psych and eventually I put 2 and 2 together and came up with my book which now follows me round the house so I can keep reading snipets.

I am delighted  to have found this forum and all the wisdom I have already read here and look forward to getting to know you all better.

hi Suz ::wideaniheart::rainbow

its great to have you here !

Thats a great thing that you are doing - writing your desired manifestations in the future as if they already happened . I also used to do before i had read or heard of Abraham.

I am thrilled you have come back to reading your Abe book, its the best stuff out there to help us make our lives incredible beyond belief .

lots love pam xx::flowers::flowers

Hi there Suz! Welcome!! I's so beautiful that the phrase that got you hooked was "All is well". It means you already knew that on some level and it was re-activated. Yay!! Congratulations on going with the flow.

Its certainly now making a difference in my life. I think I have been an 'Aber' for a long time only I live with a no pain no gain partner so he has always seen my go with the flow thoughts as simple laziness, so I have felt guilty etc.

Now as I learn more I am explaining the ideas to him and the kids. I can't wait to hear the kids tell their Dad to let go of the oars!

Yes I think I was an Aber before I even knew about Abe too. I'm glad that now I can call it something that other Abers can easily connect with.

I have a parter who understand the concept of going with the flow but finds it hard to do. I just be me and hopefully he'll catch on when the time is right for him. He caught onto Abe's teachings by seeing me and by listening to them in the car.  I try and accept that where he is, is where he is, and that sometimes going with the flow is hard for me so how can I really know if he's not trying but just finds is as hard as I find other things.

::rocketHi everyone, and thank you so much for your postings!!  My heart is bursting with joy!  ::singer

I believe that there many people following Abraham's teachings whose loved ones are opposed to it, just don't believe in it, think it's weird, (oh I so enjoy my weirdness!) kind of get it -- but not really interested, or some other variation on that theme.   As Abraham has said, "Just Deal With It", or "It's irrelevant because it's not about them.  It's only about your relationship between you and YOU."

My husband bought me the audio book of The Secret, and little did he know just how much it was going to resonate with me and how much I was going to change in the next year.   After listening to the Secret I wanted much more, and when my sister sent me an Abraham CD, I was hooked!!!

On occassion, I've gently tried to get him to listen, but to no avail.  I used to think that if only he could "get on board" it would be so much easier to co-create and manifest because I wouldn't have to hear as many upstream thoughts that I have to silently turn downstream or ignore them, or use pivoting techniques to turn them around.   I think once I manifest the three things most important to us physically, i.e., selling our two homes and moving to another city, he'll be more open to it, but it really doesn't matter, because I know now that it has nothing to do with him, but only about my relationship between me and ME.

In fact, I appreciate him because I believe that I'm becoming so much better ::nodat guiding my thoughts downstream because I get to do it so much more than if I was with someone who was simply flowing downstream with me and didn't have the news on most of the time.  Hearing the news really creates lot of rockets of desire!

My sister and I speak about once a week where we spend about an hour on discussing Abraham teachings, sharing manifestations and feeling really, really good.  I still wanted more opportunities to talk about Abraham, LOA, and the many aspects of the teachings because it feels so good.  So I tried to find others in my community, to no avail yet, which is when I turned to the internet and found all of you!::bow  I am jumping up and down for joy with much appreciation to have found another way to bring Abraham teachings into my life.    Thank you!!
