Hello Marc/David:

I no longer wish to receive email notification about new posts since I am participating on so many threads that the volume of notifications is not manageable.

I have disabled this by 'un checking' the box in my preferences section yesterday, but I am still continuing to receive emails.

Do I have to do something else to complement the 'unchecking' the box action?

Thank you. ::flowers

Yes.  If you click on "My Account," there is a tab for "Watched Topics" that will notify you when new posts are added.  You can select whatever threads you would like to stop watching and then click "Remove Selected."

I would love to receive email notification and I do but sporatically and infrequently.  :)  It is not working consistantly.

Make sure they are not in your spam folder or tagged as spam by your ISP and you never see them.  They are working perfectly at the server end.

They are not.  Some come, some don't. :)

All I can say is the server is up and running fine and I am getting them all.  Perhaps a delay in in place or a filter of some kind.  Sorry I cannot help further than that.

I have the opposite problem.  I don't  get any e-mail notifications and I have checked everything there is to check.
When I check unwatched topic, it doesn't change.  Or it will change and change back to unwatch by itself.
My account is all checked and stays that way but still I never know what's going on here until I come in.

Alas, I will live...it's still all good!

Sounds like you may have an ISP tagging the notifications as spam. Try your spam folder.  If you don't find it there, is there another email address you can put in your profile for them?
