I finally decided to ask! What are those orange and green page symbols in the front of each thread? I can't figure out the meaning of the different colours. They do not seem to correspond to threads I have read or not. Also when I click on "mark thread read" nothing seems to happen differently. I would love to be able to mark threads that seem particularly meaningful, so that I may return to them at a later date. Is this something that I can do?
This information must be covered somewhere, but I couldn't find it.
Thanks for your help
Maureen

Although the technical aspects of this Forum are really David's forte, let me give this one a shot.
If you roll your cursor over each of those symbols, it will let you know into which category it falls.
Yellow--New posts
Green--No new posts
Red--Popular, no new posts
Orange--Popular, new posts.
I don't know at what number of views or replies a thread receives the popular designation. I'm sure that David will offer his input at some point.
When you read a thread, you'll notice at the bottom (left) an icon that says "Watch Topic." If you click on that, it will add it to your Watched Topic list that can be accessed from your My Account page. There will be listed the topics to which you have either replied/posted or have chosen to watch without posting.
I hope that helps!

Thanks, Scott.Rolling over with my cursor doesn't elicit any information. So I appreciate your list.
All the best to you!

Hey Maureen and Michael,
I've noticed the color turns from blue to yellow when there are 12 replies to the post.

Another observation: post color turns from yellow to red when there are 14 replies to it.
Detective Nat lol
EDIT: Is that how it goes, or is there more to it, David?
