OMS!  Rebecca!!  I love the public orchard idea, too!  I had already put in flower beautification projects for my locales (which are now many after having spent over $4 Billion!!!)  Now, I think I'll add public orchards, too -- and bulb plantings along railroad lines.  How cool would it be to be zipping along in a RR car and look out the window to see daffodils and tulips and iris... all along the way!!  (I once had a great experience riding through sunflower country in France during sunflower season.  I'll never forget the beauty of that!!)

Thanks for the FABULOUS idea!

And, Satoshi!  I added a monster bus after I checked out your link!  Thanks!  I've always wanted to travel in style that way -- I'll use it when I'm not zipping around in my jets or helicopters!

LOVING all these great ideas!

I used to feel that I was 'there' because I was content, wanted for nothing, suffered no major stress or anxiety or illness but what I realize now is that I was totally shut down from the flow. I'd gotten off into a little eddy in the stream and was just moving around in circles! This process (I tried the millionaire one but the fixed choices just didn't appeal to me) has helped me realize this, and start to dream again! Thank you TallJames for re-minding me of my magnificent dreams, and thank you Abraham for just BEing so wise and available!
I am so happy that that light bulb turned on for you.

I have a few insights to share with you from my experience along those same lines...

First, this game really stretched my attitudes about what is possible. It taught me that nothing is out of reach - we are the only ones who are limiting ourselves. Once I got "stretched" I never returned to my puny original size again.

The second thing I realized is that I really don't want a billion kagillion dollars right this second. That's to much to keep my attention on and fully enjoy. What I am swimming through right now is this wonderful experience of getting just what I want just when I need it. It's like Tarzan swinging through the jungle on vines. He doesn't need all the vines right now (That would actually kinda suck) - He only needs one when the one he is on is at the end of its arc. He trusts it will be there and it is.

That's what it has been like for me and money since I played this game. Just when I need more the universe turns and something unexpectedly wonderful happens and all the money I need/want shows up right on time.

It's AMAZING.

Boy it was a bit tough to find this thread!

Anyway, I never knew businesses could be so cheap! For just $300k each I was able to purchase two fairly profitable businesses today. A restaurant in South Carolina, and a cigar shop in Chicago.

I also got myself an Aston Martin DBS Coupe... It was delicious.

Even bought a new home in Vegas - well, new to me. Cost $170k, and is gorgeous. Got an interior designer for $5k and gave her $20k to play with for the house.

All that cleaned me out of $1,024,000 - and was very worth the money :)

So am I James! And I know too how much more pleasure there is (after you've got all the toys you want for the moment) to give largely to others and to organizations you resonate with.

That was my first post on this board, I haven't even introduced myself yet! My name is Sally and I've only been reading the board for a few weeks, though I've been listening to Abe for a couple of years now.

Funny thing about dreams ... I used to dream of living in a cave .. well turned out, no 'roughing it' for me, or a missile silo. Can you tell I'm not your average citizen? ::LOLNot that there even IS such a thing! We are all unique expressions and I am delighted to be rediscovering mySelf!

Watched a show called The Most Bodacious Homes last night and I had to take some pics of one place, though there were several I liked. Here's one shot to give you an idea ... don't know if it shows up or just shows a link but I'll figure it out.

Hi there Lady of Flight! Thank you for that insight... you are right!
I do feel some resistance around big numbers but I am willing to open up and allow!
Release the tightness.

Yes! So glad you shared this.  How have things shifted for you once you came to that understanding?  I love reading the forum it opens  me in soo many ways.

I just got finished watching the movie, Vanilla Sky. It really helped me to digest the power of thought and the subconscious mind.

I gotta message form IB, "Open up and receive."
Thank You for this metaphor James!  Its really clear.

Played today and payed off some of my current debt and made some advance payments!  I'm starting at $16,000.

A year ago, I would've told you the signs today were pointing to a crapper of a day. But the ::downstreaming brought on a whole slew of "bits n bobs fr the Universe"
and a nice little manifestation of $200 from the nice credit card company ::grapevine
The bank lady reckons I should go shopping =p

Might I stress that I haven't even STARTED the game? bahahahaha

I LOVE your story Nicole.

A nice fat cash manifestation is always so much fun.  I don't care if it's $2 or $20,000.  It still feels good!

It sounds like you are in a groove.  It will be fun to watch what happens for you over the next few weeks.

I also love the Aussie flavor "bits" in your post.

Cheers,

- James

Hey there humansparkler! Funny how many people put that extra 'f' in my screen name .. and I never even noticed it when I chose the name, but it's ubercool too!

How have things shifted for me? ::chinI have been totally broke and totally abundant in my life so money has shifted from "I don't have any/enough" to "I have lots and don't even think about it" and back again. This time, with this spread sheet and much more conscious choices, (Thanks Abraham!) I find that while I have not much interest in fancy houses or clothes or cars, I AM desiring to see this world/planet and meet people from everywhere, even more so than I've been in the past. For so many many years off and on I have been having as my personal chant in the background .. "I wonder where my wonder went, and why my wonder all is spent." (That's a quote from Zenna Henderson's "The People".) I had been so out of the habit of feeling joy that life was very bland and my only 'joy' was mental activity and my cat.

NOW I feel like a child, full of curiosity and wonder, embracing everything that comes across my path or into my life and feeling even the singing of the bird outside my door from 1 to 4 a.m. every night is his expression of sheer joy, and adds to mine. My mind wonders why he's singing his little heart out in the dark, and about predators, but maybe, just maybe, I'm already on that New Earth everyone keeps talking about, and on MY New Earth he doesn't need to fear predators! I feel like an alien (I always have, and mourned it) but now it feels GOOD! I AM wonderful! I AM abundant! I AM joyful! And I LOVE spreading it around.

Gee, I didn't realize how fantastic I was feeling until I started writing this, and it just bubbled up out of me! Thanks for asking!

This song has been running around in my head since last night, though I changed the word Money to Vortex, with no apologies to the authors. ::LOL

We've got a lot of what it takes to get along! "::whistle

YAY!!!

Here are some highlights from today's Billion I spent:

4-carat pink diamond

my winking pink Porsche convertible

Porsche driving school!!

Custom MONSTER BUS

Beach-driving vehicles for all my near-the-beach homes (got stuck in sand yesterday!!  LOL!!!)

Windsurfer

Key Biscayne Castle

art for Key Biscayne

public orchard parks near my homes

bulb plantings all along the LIRR and along Amtrak from Boston to Miami!

YAY!  FUN!  ::LOL

P.S.  So far every day I have ideas that spill over into tomorrow.  Never a challenge to spend this money -- just lots of fun.  I've got some GREAT things on tap for tomorrow.  Some stuff I've wanted to do since I was a little girl that I'll be doing in a BIG way now!!

Here's a mind-shift I just noticed:

When I see articles about things that Billionaires spend money on, I perk up and think "That's for ME!!"

I can't believe it took me this long to realize it... but last night I made a TON of sales, a hell of a lot more than I normally make in a day. However, I didn't even think to associate it with doing this exercise!

But now that I'm thinking about it this morning - this is exactly why it happened. I've been stretching my money-muscles a whole lot with this thing.

So, if anybody is on the fence about this little game.... GO PLAY IT.

Here's my favorite item from today's spending:

A bid for the America's Cup sailboat race!!  (That goes a long way to spending a billion dollars, I can tell you!!!)

I cannot tell you how excited I am about this -- even as a part of this game.  It is so cool.  Like James suggested, I went back to my childhood, and it was a childhood dream to be the first woman to win the America's Cup.  I am so enjoying thinking about this purchase.  I feel completely, 100% in alignment with Source when I think about it!!

In fact, playing this game has reminded me how much I love sailing and how important it is for me to incoporate it into my life.  I've bought all different kinds of sailboats of all different sizes and for different purposes for all my near-the-water homes.  It has been a HUGE focus of this game to me...

YAY!!  I think my kayak is about to have a lot of new friends!!  LOL!

Hi Sandra! I just spent my million today and it took me a lot longer than I thought it would! I happily spent for private school tuition for both of my girls and was absolutely floored at how inexpensive it felt.

Just a few minutes before I was thinking about how much next year will cost and it was stirring up some resistance but then I purposefully paid for ALL of their education from K-12 and added up the total and realized how reasonable and doable it was.

I also paid for an all-expense luxury, custom designed, African safari for 10 people and that was so "cheap" too! I still had so much money left over after all of that! I've got more travel for friends and family planned tomorrow. I think we'll go to S. America.

This is so much fun!!!

CONGRATULATIONS CHRIS!

I am so excited for you.

What I love about your story is that it is all about vibration. Instead of focusing on "I NEED to make more sales" you turned your attention to something less direct and more fun (this game).  Your vibration shifted.  And effortlessly - without even noticing it - without some big cosmic life change - your financial situation improved.

GREAT WORK or should i say GREAT PLAY.

Fireball -

I can see your vibration about money shifting all the way from Seattle.  It's a beautiful thing.

I remember a similar shift when I played the first time. The game puts you in the mind set of abundance. Costs that used to pucker me up suddenly seemed like nothing.  I can't tell you how many times during the game i thought...

"Oh crap, it only costs that much?  I was hoping it would be a lot more expensive."
LOL.

You are definitely on the right track!
