I listened to something today where Abraham was explaining this, and there are columns of things that the person would like to attain but can not at the moment with current resources.  The example was running 5 miles without feeling fatigued, only a feeling of exhiliration.  Do you have things like this on your pad?  So far I just have the weight I want to be, and things I can easily do.

I think the way you do it is simpler, I suppose that after 30 days once the things that you are doing are part of your daily habits, then you can add more to your pad and check them off.

I am doing pretty easy stuff even though it takes up 5 columns. I do my deep breathing when I meditate everyday. I "saw" you on the meditation thread so you know I have been meditating for 20 days in a row and this is outside of my columnar pad. However, I have combined my deep breathing with my meditation so it's easy to keep up doing it. As for walking up and down the stairs, I do it 6 times. Yesterday was stormy and I couldn't walk so I did double stairs walking. I got used to drinking water and I get quite thirsty so my body has got used to it and wants more ::devil. Then I do BOPA/ROA combined and if I am out I do it in my head. So I am very pleased to be keeping up this way.

Since Friday I have been getting kicked out of the Vortex sporadically because my clothes feel tighter. So, I am focusing on telling my new story, and I have started listening to a CD by an Abeish author who guides you into a  hypnotic state and visualization. I think this is going to be helpful along with my processes.

In any case I am where I am.

And I just want to use this smiley right now because it is adorable: :oars:  Here's to going downstream with regards to all things, including body weight!

I love your smiley :oars: and this is me bouncing off::tramp.

I found this passage from the Astonishing Power of Emotions:

"Whenever you find yourself beating the same old drum about your body weight, if you would make an effort to turn your thoughts downstream and stay focused about the subject until you feel a slight turn, in a very short period of time you will improve the vibrational relationship between where you are and what you want, and you will be amazed at the leverage this improved vibration will give to your process. Everything about this will get easier and easier until, in time, your desired body weight will have been achieved."

Well this is something ::chinfor me to remember and ponder about!

I love that quote!!!!  One thing I love hearing on the Think and Grow Slim series is that it doesn't matter where you put your boat in the water.  So I keep remembering, ok, I'm putting my boat in the water at this particular weight, and off we go!!!

I just remembered, I had a dream last night that I was putting on a blouse that I have long since given away because it didn't fit and I didn't like it that much anyway.  It was way too tight in the dream, so I took it off.  I even asked my sister-in-law if it made me look fat... and I couldn't even move my arms in that blouse and was quite conscious of my shape in that blouse!  But the overall vibe of the dream was good, even that part!  :)  So in my dream I could put on a tight blouse and still feel ok--- YAY!!!!!!!  (Not sure I'd attempt that while awake!)  :)

I did notice you over there on the meditation thread!  ::hearts::hearts::hearts

So how many items did you choose to do at first and have you added any since?

Good Morning Indi-Em.

Well I got to day 21 on my pad, and I decided that I would change the columns a little bit, and start a new 30 day challenge. As I had already completed 21 days, some of the things are starting to feel less like work and more like habit, so that is a good thing.

My original columns were:

Appreciate Myself, Enjoy my food, Do Something nice for myself, Take care of my skin, drink 3 pints of water, take more steps (min.8000 a day), Do some Yoga, Lose 42lbs.

Most of the things on the list were checked off every day, but I never seemed to get round to doing much yoga, as my little girl has been a bit of a pain in the bum to get to bed at the moment (i'm working on that vibe!!!). SO I didn't like having that empty column each day, so I have revised the list, and it now looks like this:

Breathe Deeply, Appreciate myself/Visualise, Dress Well, Enjoy Food, Drink 2ltr Water, Be more active, Meditate, Lose 42lb.

All of which are really easy to achieve in a day, and I give myself another tick if I complete something more than once.

And I can say, I am feeling REALLY  good. I found a photo of me from around 4 years ago, when I was much slimmer, and probably the best i've ever looked, and so I have etched it into my memory & I go back and remember what it felt like to be in that body, and I think that is really helping me to 'feel' slimmer already. So, here is to the next fun filled 30 days. I sooo can't wait to see how everyone gets on!!

Keep in touch y'all!!!!

Honeypie I love your story about your dream and the tight blouse.

8 days in a row and I am quite pleased with myself. I am enjoying this proces. In addition I have been prepaving meal times and I put my fork down after each mouthful. I chew my food slowly and savor the taste of it. Everytime I have the urge to eat I ask myself am I really hungry? and then I drink water and the urge goes away. This is from a book and cd from an abeish author. If anyone is interested in the the title you can PM for it.

HereIam nice to see you back. I was thinking about what you said about yoga. Maybe you could just drop yoga and carry on from where you are since you are so close to 30 days.

HereIam how old is your little girl?  I loved reading that you are cleaning up a vibe about bedtime!  My little girl turned 2 in April.  We have an OK bedtime vibe (thankful for this!) but I have some clean-up to do around other times of our day!  :)

I had another clothing dream!  I dreamt that I found a perfect blouse (another blouse dream!) and it was the perfect color for my skin, soft material, lovely cut, looked
FABULOUS on me, and was on sale!!!!!!  I was also slender in this dream!  ::woohoo

I'm liking this one today: ::downstream  These little guys are so CUTE!

Em, I'm really enjoying your posts on the ::ohm thread!

Thank you Honeypie, I love reading yours too. Your blouse dreams are very interesting. Abe said it's how you feel during the dream that's important and you were feeling great on the last dream, so good things are happening! ::singer

I am feeling very enthusiastic and motivated especially since I feel like I have shed some weight already. I can feel my clothe not being as tight anymore. Remember me saying that they were tight last Friday? I have been doing an exercise which is from yoga but is good for abs! Its the cat-cow pose or stretch. It's easy and effective. My abs are already firmer. I asked my IB to give me ideas and first I found that book which I had for a while but not knowing Abe when I first got it I didn't really get into it. Then the UM brought it to my attention and since it's 90% like the suggestions given by Abe and it has a CD that has guided visualization and suggestions, I was absolutely delighted. Yay for the UM.

And today I went up and downs the stairs 18 times! I have drunk my water, walked and did my deep breathing.

Life is good!

It's so much more fun to live in a hopeful state as opposed to a state of despair!  (To state the obvious, but I sure didn't even know it was possible to be hopeful a relatively short time ago)

What is UM?  I can't guess it so far and didn't see it on the list of acronyms.  Oh, Universal Manager?

Yes UM is Universal Manager.

I have been mostly out of the Vortex today due to strong contrast but I have kept up with my columnar pad. I am now going to do write everything that was good during the day in my BOPA. I am very pleased that I have not let my contrast interfere with my newly formed habits. This is a good manifestation since finding Abe.

I know I lost some weight today- I got a major haircut!!  ::LOL  It was nice to have time to get a haircut, and I like having short hair again.

I was going to skip our walk today, but my daughter wanted to go, so we had a nice evening stroll around the neighborhood.  :)

I bet you'll feel awesome after writing in your BOPA!

Have a great weekend everyone!

I love your sense of humor Honeypie ::devil

Isn't wonderful how your little girl spurred you on?

I bet you'll feel awesome after writing in your BOPA!

I must admit I felt too sad yesterday to do so. I helped my two pet ratties transition and so I felt temporarily disconnected from Source. However I am bathed in well-being today.

Have a great weekend everyone!

I have kept up with my columnar pad and I can see now the difference in my clothes as they are starting to feel a little loose! My belly is so much firmer. This stuff works as it has motivated me to do simple abs which have helped and I got into the habit of putting my fork down after every mouthful and chewing my food thoroughly, I enjoy tasting the food whereas before I used to shovel it down::devil.  I talk to the trillion of cells that make up my body when I drink the water that they need to do their job properly. I never used to drink much before and now I really enjoy it. I know that the deep breathing helps a lot too. This is all so simple.

Have a wonderful Sunday everyone!

Hugs, Em!  That day is coming soon for me, I have a poodle who is almost 18!!!

I bought some clothes today.  I remember reading somewhere that Abraham recommends not buying clothes at the start of a 30-day thing, but I only had one pair of pants that fit!  I mostly wear skirts, but wanted another pair of summer pants for right now.  I got some kind of stretchy jeans that will still fit well as I continue to shrink!  :) And I got two nice tops that will also last awhile.  I was pre-paving on the way there, for a shopping cart with a seat (for my 2 y.o.) and to quickly find clothes that would fit me well and would be on sale.  It all went according to plan!  :)  :beautiful:

I've been thinking about habits.... I never really gave it much thought until recently!  For the past two nights, I've been brushing my hair out of the way as I get comfortable in bed.... the hair that isn't there anymore!  Now I know it's not a big deal that it DOES take time to change a habit, and it's awesome and exciting to know that ANY habit can change in time.  And not that long a time, either!  ::grapevine

Hi Honeypie, she is16 months old, and must say that bedtimes have been much easier over these past few days. She was poorly last week,  and so as she has been feeling better, things have got easier. Halelujah! But I find that the more relased I try to be, the better, even when she is really playing up, if I can keep my cool, thiungs turn around so much quicker. I have learned that losing my temper only amplifies the situation!
I was also slender in this dream!  ::woohoo
I also had a dream last night that I was slender, and that i was putting on makeup in the mirror, and I looked FAB! nd in my dream I said to myself (in regards to makeup) 'the less I wear, the better I look'. And also my pad process is going really well. I feel more slender today and think my pants are a little looser, still finding it a little harder at weekends to remain in the vortex, and just generally be more aware of my point of attraction, but have decided that doing a BOPA will help me keep my vibe elevated at weekends and also give me a boost through the week, so I am going to do one of these too.Really enjoying the thread and keeping up with everyone xxxxx

Great dreams Honeypie and HereIam instead of Virtual Reality you are both doing dreaming reality::devil.

Congratulations Honeypie!  feeling beautiful in comfortable clothes helps you feel good about yourself now!

Yay! for looser pants HereIam.

I haven't weighed myself at all for 13 days! Wow, I am nearly halfway and pleased I have stayed on track.

Good night from Switzerland::hugging

I have been having good dreams!  It's lovely!

Em, tell me about your deep breathing.  How long have you been doing that?  I just started some deep breathing exercises last night and it's harder than I thought!  I was aware before, though, that I really could only take one deep breath.  My breathing is VERY noisy!  It's a kind of strange experience, and my body feels weird, not in a good way.  I think I might be letting my breath out TOO slowly, because I find myself wanting to take a bunch of short breaths or breathe through my mouth to get some more air.  I'm interested in this, though!

Well you need to go gently because otherwise you can become lightheaded.Breathe in slowly then hold it for 2 seconds and release normally so you feel relief. It takes a bit of practice. There is a youtube video about Abe suggesting deep breathing. I will pm you the link.

I am keeping up with my walking, deep breathing, water drinking and stairs. It has become a habit

Thank you!

The coolest thing was that when I watched those videos, to the side was a video about a question I had really been wondering about yesterday!!!  That was awesome!!!!

I flopped around for a couple of days but feel back on track today, focusing on things that make me feel good!  :)

The UM has a roundabout way of answering questions!!::devil::devil

I am glad you are feeling better. I had a difficult time mostly out of the vortex since last Friday and after several processes I am absolutely fine today.

We just keep going regardless.::grapevine::grapevine
