Thank Kaz, I sometimes wonder if was a hippy flower child in a former life - I was born in 1974 who knows!!! I probably romanticise and idealise that period too much - but hey, that's what we're supposed to do isn't it - it feels good!! I do have The Best of the Moody Blues, I love Go Now - one for when I'm feeling dramatic ::singer.  I'm a huge Brian Wilson/Beach Boys fan - not just their early surfing hits, but the later albums like Pet Sounds & Friends - beautiful harmonies, very spiritual.  Oh, and btw I really like Steely Dan Do it Again too! ::music

Come with me
And you'll be
In a world of
Pure imagination
Take a look
And you'll see
Into your imagination

We'll begin

Traveling in
The world of my creation
What we'll see

If you want to view paradise
Simply look around and view it
Anything you want to, do it

Living there

Michael Jackson "Man In The Mirror"

I'm Gonna Make A Change,
For Once In My Life
It's Gonna Feel Real Good,
Gonna Make A Difference
Gonna Make It Right . . .

As I, Turn Up The Collar On My
Favourite Winter Coat
This Wind Is Blowin' My Mind
I See The Kids In The Street,
With Not Enough To Eat
Who Am I, To Be Blind?
Pretending Not To See
Their Needs
A Summer's Disregard,
A Broken Bottle Top
And A One Man's Soul
They Follow Each Other On
The Wind Ya' Know
'Cause They Got Nowhere
To Go
That's Why I Want You To
Know

I'm Starting With The Man In
The Mirror
I'm Asking Him To Change
His Ways
And No Message Could Have
Been Any Clearer
If You Wanna Make The World
A Better Place
(If You Wanna Make The
World A Better Place)
Take A Look At Yourself, And
Then Make A Change
(Take A Look At Yourself, And
Then Make A Change)
(Na Na Na, Na Na Na, Na Na,
Na Nah)

I've Been A Victim Of A Selfish
Kind Of Love
It's Time That I Realize
That There Are Some With No
Home, Not A Nickel To Loan
Could It Be Really Me,
Pretending That They're Not
Alone?

A Willow Deeply Scarred,
Somebody's Broken Heart
And A Washed-Out Dream
(Washed-Out Dream)
They Follow The Pattern Of
The Wind, Ya' See
Cause They Got No Place
To Be
That's Why I'm Starting With
Me
(Starting With Me!)

I'm Starting With The Man In
The Mirror
(Ooh!)
I'm Asking Him To Change
His Ways
(Ooh!)
And No Message Could Have
Been Any Clearer
If You Wanna Make The World
A Better Place
(If You Wanna Make The
World A Better Place)
Take A Look At Yourself And
Then Make A Change
(Take A Look At Yourself And
Then Make A Change)

I'm Starting With The Man In
The Mirror
(Ooh!)
I'm Asking Him To Change His
Ways
(Change His Ways-Ooh!)
And No Message Could've
Been Any Clearer
If You Wanna Make The World
A Better Place
(If You Wanna Make The
World A Better Place)
Take A Look At Yourself And
Then Make That . . .
(Take A Look At Yourself And
Then Make That . . .)
Change!

I'm Starting With The Man In
The Mirror,
(Man In The Mirror-Oh
Yeah!)
I'm Asking Him To Change
His Ways
(Better Change!)
No Message Could Have
Been Any Clearer
(If You Wanna Make The
World A Better Place)
(Take A Look At Yourself And
Then Make The Change)
(You Gotta Get It Right, While
You Got The Time)
('Cause When You Close Your
Heart)
You Can't Close Your . . .Your
Mind!
(Then You Close Your . . .
Mind!)
That Man, That Man, That
Man, That Man
With That Man In The Mirror
(Man In The Mirror, Oh Yeah!)
That Man, That Man, That Man
I'm Asking Him To Change
His Ways
(Better Change!)
You Know . . .That Man
No Message Could Have
Been Any Clearer
If You Wanna Make The World
A Better Place
(If You Wanna Make The
World A Better Place)
Take A Look At Yourself And
Then Make A Change
(Take A Look At Yourself And
Then Make A Change)
Hoo! Hoo! Hoo! Hoo! Hoo!
Na Na Na, Na Na Na, Na Na,
Na Nah
(Oh Yeah!)
Gonna Feel Real Good Now!
Yeah Yeah! Yeah Yeah!
Yeah Yeah!
Na Na Na, Na Na Na, Na Na,
Na Nah
(Ooooh . . .)
Oh No, No No . . .
I'm Gonna Make A Change
It's Gonna Feel Real Good!
Come On!
(Change . . .)
Just Lift Yourself
You Know
You've Got To Stop It.
Yourself!
(Yeah!-Make That Change!)
I've Got To Make That Change,
Today!
Hoo!
(Man In The Mirror)
You Got To
You Got To Not Let Yourself . . .
Brother . . .
Hoo!
(Yeah!-Make That Change!)
You Know-I've Got To Get
That Man, That Man . . .
(Man In The Mirror)
You've Got To
You've Got To Move! Come
On! Come On!
You Got To . . .
Stand Up! Stand Up!
Stand Up!
(Yeah-Make That Change)
Stand Up And Lift
Yourself, Now!
(Man In The Mirror)
Hoo! Hoo! Hoo!
Aaow!
(Yeah-Make That Change)
Gonna Make That Change . . .
Come On!
(Man In The Mirror)
You Know It!
You Know It!
You Know It!
You Know . . .
(Change . . .)
Make That Change.

The only person we can start with, and change at all, right? :beautiful:  Which makes us completely in charge of ourselves.  We change our minds and the mirror shows us a new picture of ourselves and our experience of life.  Fantastic reminder.

"One Clear Voice"  Peter Cetera  ::music

The whole world is talking
Drowning out my voice
How can I hear myself
With all this noise
But all this confusion
Just disappears
When I find a quiet place
Where I can hear

(chorus)
One clear voice
Calling out for me to listen
One clear voice
Whispers words of wisdom
I close my eyes
'Till I find what I've been missing
If I'm very still, I will hear
One clear voice

I'm always searching
For which path to take
Sometimes I'm so afraid
To make mistakes
From somewhere inside me
Stronger than my fears
Just like the sound of music
To my ears, I hear

(chorus)
One clear voice...

So,I allow myself to listen as much as I can only to myself... to my Inner Being.  A great case for meditation and for being really picky about what other voices I allow in. ::roseglasses

"Land of Hope and Dreams" by Springsteen

Grab your ticket and your suitcase
Thunder's rolling down the tracks
You don't know where you're goin'
But you know you won't be back
Darlin' if you're weary
Lay your head upon my chest
We'll take what we can carry
And we'll leave the rest

Big Wheels rolling through fields
Where sunlight streams
Meet me in a land of hope and dreams

I will provide for you
And I'll stand by your side
You'll need a good companion for
This part of the ride
Leave behind your sorrows
Let this day be the last
Tomorrow there'll be sunshine
And all this darkness past

Big wheels roll through fields
Where sunlight streams
Meet me in a land of hope and dreams

This train
Carries saints and sinners
This train
Carries losers and winners
This Train
Carries whores and gamblers
This Train
Carries lost souls
This Train
Dreams will not be thwarted
This Train
Faith will be rewarded
This Train
Hear the steel wheels singin'
This Train
Bells of freedom ringin'
This Train
Carries broken-hearted
This Train
Thieves and sweet souls departed
This Train
Carries fools and kings
This Train
All aboard

This Train
Dreams will not be thwarted
This Train
Faith will be rewarded
This Train
Hear the steel wheels singin'
This Train
Bells of freedom ringin'

It's my favorite feel good song.

I just found this on my computer that I meant to post ages ago but I forgot!

These are the lyrics to a song called Come into the Light by Bliss. (Can I post album name?) Please delete if not!

I bought their album (A hundred thousand angels) a few years ago, Pre-Abe, and I haven't listened to it in quite a while. Anyway I listened to it the other day, and could not believe how Abe-ish the words to this song are.

I think it's about learning to love and trust your IB.

Hope you like:

Where do I go with all these feelings?

And all these faces and open doors?

When everyone else seems so serene,

And I just feel so insecure.

Where do I go when all the pieces

Of me heart feel on the floor

You say “come into the light, why don’t you?”

“Come on now, come into the light”.

Where do I go with all these memories?

And all these bags filled up with shame

How should I feel when you call me an angel?

And dress me in a crown of gold

What should I do when tears of sorrow

Just won’t stay inside these eyes

You say “come into the light, why don’t you?”

“Come on now, come into the light”.

What should I do when a gentle hand

Reaches out to take my own

How should I feel when tears of joy

Just won’t stay inside these eyes

What will I do when I start to love you?

And really trust and know you’re there

You say “You’ll be in the light, where I am”

“You’ll be in the light, where I am”

“Come on now, come into the light”

I woke up today with this golden oldie going round in my mind. ::music Vereeee Abe-ish...

Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate The Positive
Gather 'round me, everybody
Gather 'round me, while I preach some
Feel a sermon coming on here
The topic will be sin
And that's what I'm agin'
If you wanna hear my story
Then settle back and just sit tight
While I start reviewing
The attitude of doing right

You got to ac-cent-tchu-ate the positive
E-lim-i-nate the negative
And latch on to the affirmative
Don't mess with mister inbetween

You got to spread joy up to the maximum
Bring gloom down to the minimum
And have faith, or pandemonium
Liable to walk upon the scene

To illustrate my last remark
Jonah in the whale, Noah in the ark,
What did they do, just when everything looked so dark?
Man, they said, we better

Ac-cent-tchu-ate the positive
E-lim-i-nate the negative
And latch on to the affirmative
Don't mess with mister inbetween

No don't mess with mister inbetween

You got to spread joy up to the maximum
Bring gloom down to the minimum
And have faith, or pandemonium
Liable to walk upon the scene

You got to ac-cent-tchu-ate the positive
E-lim-i-nate the negative
And latch on to the affirmative
Don't mess with mister inbetween

No don't mess with mister inbetween

THIS is my theme song these days. The lyrics are so abe-ish to me and the song itself just makes me smile to the world and want to dance and celebrate life. She's one of my favorite singers and I soooo appreciate this song and what it does to me so I wanted to share. Below are the lyrics and I suggest you find the official video on Youtube if you haven't already heard the song.

I'm listening to it right now and climbing up that EGS!

Sia - Clap your hands

I've been neglecting the good things
What I mean is I need the good things
I'm finding the light in the good things
I've might need help to see the good things
Oh

Shake me out of my misery, woah woah, oh, oh
Oh, oh, make me
Get out and wiggle it, oh, oh, oh

Clap your hands, clap your hands
Turn the lights on my nights this is life
And we only get once chance
Oh, clap your hands, clap your hands
Come on dance, take a chance on romance
We only get one shot at love

Oh, clap your hands, clap your hands
Turn the lights on my nights this is life
And we only get once chance
Oh, clap your hands, clap your hands
Come on dance, take a chance on romance
We only get one shot at love
Oh, clap your hands, clap your hands

I'm trying to fly in the good things
I'm finding this might be a good thing

Shake me out of my misery woah, oh, oh
Oh, oh, make me
Get out and wiggle it oh, oh, oh

Oh, clap your hands, clap your hands
Turn the lights on my nights this is life
And we only get once chance
Oh, clap your hands, clap your hands
Come on dance, take a chance on romance
We only get one shot at love
Oh, clap your hands, clap your hands

Enjoy!

Yeah, she makes the best videos ever - you should check out the video for her song "Buttons" (from her previous album) if you are up for another laugh (it's funny and just a little bit scary LOL)

Her new album has me climbing the EGS for sure!

Row, row, row your boat
Gently down the stream.
Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily,
Life is but a dream.

Except we don't have to row as we can just put our boat in the stream and allow the current to take us. With every desire, we bring the current closer to us.

We can go "gently down the stream" to where we want and do it "merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily" as life can be a "dream" if we allow it so.

I really love this. This song so directly pertains to Abraham's teachings.

Thank you so much for this

Hello!
I also like Jason Mraz "Life is wonderful" (in you tube sung live in China).

Feeling good sung by Michael Bublé.

I find godly: The "Ave Maria"

Here's a good one by JoJo. One day I was feeling a little self-doubt and unworthy and this song "randomly" played. I knew it was directly from my IB.

You're beautiful but you don't know
Can't see whats there inside your soul
Always feelin like you're not good enough
You wish you could be someone else
Sometimes you just can't see yourself
But I can see just who you are, who you are

You're exceptional the way you are
Dont need to change for nobody
You're incredible, anyone can see that
When will you believe that?
You are nothing but exceptional
(Yeah)

You never you think you measure up
Never smart or cool, or pretty enough
Always feeling different from all the rest, oh
You feel so out of place, you think you don't fit in
I think you're perfect in the skin you're in
You're just perfect just how you are, just how you are, yeah

(chorus)
You're exceptional the way you are
Dont need to change for nobody
You're incredible, anyone can see that
When will you believe that?
You are nothing but exceptional
If you could see the one I see when
I see you You'd know how lucky you are to be you
I see through into you
And you are

You're exceptional the way you are
Dont need to change for nobody
You're incredible, anyone can see that
When will you believe that? (You are)
You're exceptional the way you are
Dont need to change for nobody
You're incredible, anyone can see that
When will you believe that?
You are nothing but exceptional

Here's my 2 favorites.

Life's What You Make It - Hannah Montana

Don't let no small frustration
Ever bring you down
No, no, no, no
Just take a situation
And turn it all around

With a new attitude everything can change
Make it how you want it to be
Stay mad, why do that? Give yourself a break
Laugh about it and you'll see

Life's what you make it
So let's make it rock
Life's what you make it
So come on, come on, come on, everybody now

Why be sad broken hearted?
There's so much to do
Life is hard or it's a party
The choice is up to you

With a new attitude everything can change
Make it how you want it to be
Stay sad, why do that? Give yourself a break
I know you want to party with me

Life's what you make it
So let's make it rock
Life's what you make it
So come on, come on, come on, everybody now

Let's celebrate it, join in everyone
You decide 'cause life's what you make it

Things are looking up anytime you want
All you gotta do is realize that
It's under your control
So let the good times rock and roll!

C'mon everybody
Do it now
All right, let's get the party started
Yeah, yeah, yeah, now that's a party
Yeah, yeah, put your hands together

Life's what you make it
So let's make it rock, let's make it rock
Life's what you make it
So come on, come on, come on, everybody now

Let's celebrate it, join in everyone
You decide 'cause life's what you make it, aww yeah
Life is what you make it

Where My Heart Will Take Me - Russell Watson

It's been a long road, getting from there to here.
It's been a long time, but my time is finally near.
And I can feel the change in the wind right now. Nothing's in my way.
And they're not gonna hold me down no more, no they're not gonna hold me down.

Cause I've got faith of the heart.
I'm going where my heart will take me.
I've got faith to believe. I can do anything.
I've got strength of the soul. And no one's gonna bend or break me.
I can reach any star. I've got faith, faith of the heart.

It's been a long night. Trying to find my way.
Been through the darkness. Now I finally have my day.
And I will see my dream come alive at last. I will touch the sky.
And they're not gonna hold me down no more, no they're not gonna change my mind.

Cause I've got faith of the heart.
I'm going where my heart will take me.
I've got faith to believe. I can do anything.
I've got strength of the soul. And no one's gonna bend or break me.
I can reach any star. I've got faith, faith of the heart.

I've known the wind so cold, I've seen the darkest days.
But now the winds I feel, are only winds of change.
I've been through the fire and I've been through the rain.
But I'll be fine ...

Cause I've got faith of the heart.
I'm going where my heart will take me.
I've got faith to believe. I can do anything.
I've got strength of the soul. And no one's gonna bend or break me.
I can reach any star. I've got faith, faith of the heart.

Cause I've got faith of the heart.
I'm going where my heart will take me.
I've got faith to believe. I can do anything.
I've got strength of the soul. And no one's gonna bend or break me.
I can reach any star. I've got faith, faith of the heart.

I remember hearing this one on the radio at a very very low point in my life, and felt as if it were really talking specifically to me. I talked myself out of it at that time, even though the synchronicity and wording was amazing,  but now, I know it really was JUST for me, and I appreciate it. :)

Crowded House
Don't Dream It's Over :

There is freedom within
there is freedom without
Try to catch the deluge in a paper cup
There's a battle ahead
many battles are lost
But you'll never see the end of the road
While you're traveling with me

Hey now, hey now
Don't dream it's over
Hey now, hey now
When the world comes in
They come, they come
To build a wall between us
We know they won't win

Now I'm towing my car
there's a hole in the roof
my possessions are causing me suspicion but there's no proof
in the paper today
tales of war and of waste
but you turn right over to the T.V. page

Hey now, hey now
Don't dream it's over
Hey now, hey now
When the world comes in
They come, they come
To build a wall between us
We know they won't win

Now I'm walking again
to the beat of a drum
And I'm counting the steps to the door of your heart
Only shadows ahead
barely clearing the roof
Get to know the feeling of liberation and release

Hey now, Hey now
Don't dream it's over
Hey now, Hey now
When the world comes in
They come, they come
To build a wall between us
You know they won’t win

Don’t let them win
Hey now, Hey now

Hey now, Hey now

Hey now, Hey now
Don’t let them win

They come, They come
Don’t let them win

Hey now, Hey now (yeah)

Hey now, Hey now

end of song...

Perfectly abe ish for me, especially since I had a very strong belief back then, and "they" were my doubts (and the worldly things) ... They sorta won back then, but I "never see the end of the road when you're traveling with me" is really true. Back to believing and listening to my inner being. Following my expansion forever!

Interesting, I had loved the song when it first played for me all those years ago, it cheered me, but then I heard, "you turn to the tv page", and such an abject guilt came over me... Now I know that it was never for me to feel guilty. Its nature (and good) to turn the page and want to look at something lighter, something that feels better.

All the words are so perfect in this song. Possessions can cause suspicion, much like Esther's table being dropped... or monetary losses, but those things should not convince anyone and its never really over. This world is truly a miraculous place. I want to remember this every day. :)

I also freakin LOVE the Moody Blues!

I love Paolo Nutini's Pencil Full of Lead, it's like a rampage of appreciation and it's really upbeat and swingy (is that even a word?::LOL) Anyway, hope you like it

Paolo Nutini - Pencil Full of Lead

1, 2, 3, 4
I got a sheet for my bed,
And a pillow for my head
I got a pencil full of lead,
And some water for my throat
I've got buttons for my coat; and sails on my boat
So much more than I needed before
I got money in the meter and a two bar heater
Now it's getting hotter;
Oh it's only getting sweeter
I got legs on my chairs and a head full of hear
Pot and a pan
And some shoes on my feet;
I got a shelf full of books and most of my teeth
A few pairs of socks and a door with a lock
I got food in my belly and a license for my telly
And nothing's going to bring me down

I got a nice guitar and tyres on my car
I got most of the means; and scripts for the scenes
I'm out and about, so I'm in with a shout
I got a fair bit of chat but better than that
Food in my belly and a license for my telly
And nothing's going to bring me down
Nothing's going to bring me down

But best of all (best of all)
I've got my baby
She's mighty fine and says she's all mine
And nothing's going to bring me down
Best of all
I've got my baby
She's mighty fine and says she's all mine
And nothing's going to bring me down
Not today, no, no
