So! New chapter!  Perspectives of Health, Weight, and Mind

Let me tell you, we're off the month=chapter thing by quite a bit. It's all good. We'll finish the book in early October.  The new book will have been out for over a month by then, but I figure, we'll have all that time to read it through without 'studying' it, and then we'll be ready for a new group!

Let's see what happens, anyway--we'll see how it goes.

I love the way p.141 ends.  Even though I highlighted this passage another time I read the book, I'd fogotten it...

"When you attempt to gather and process information about what is happening with other people's bodies instead of utilizing your own Emotional Guidance System to understand your current alignment or misalignement of Energy, it is tantamount to using a road map from a different country to plan your route in your own country:  That information simply has no bearing on your and where you are right now."!!!

LOVE that.  Reminds me a bit of something that happened earlier this week.  I was walking up to my car with a friend.  I got in the driver's seat and waited for her to get in.  Nothing.  I hopped out of the car and looked around.  Nowhere.  I couldn't see my friend or a sign of her anywhere.  It was so strange, very Twilight-Zonish.  I didn't know what to do...  Meanwhile, she had hopped into the car parked in front of mine.  She was in there waiting for me to hop in and drive us away.  So, nothing happened for either one us for a little while there because each to the other we were in the wrong car.  We needed to both be in the same car before we could drive off together.  Something like being lined up with our IB...  Anyway, makes sense to me!!  LOL!!

Here is my take on it. We are physical expression of Source YET we are indeed PHYSICAL and we cannot not experience being physical until croaking. And so, because we perceive things via our physical platform from this physical prespective and we are in this PHYSICAL bodies, we will be influenced at some level by the lenses (our bodies) that we are perceiving through.

That was a long convoluted sentence! ::LOL to say that you are in this body even though you are also Source and you cannot separate from your physicalness and so......everything you perceive will be in influenced by your body. If your body feels good and balanced and you love your features and you love your physicalness, whoohoo, THAT will influence how you see everything--which will influence your manifestations. 

If your body feels bad and you do NOT appreciate it's features, you cannot help but to bring that vibe to every other subject you think about.  How you feel about your body affects your wallet, affects you love life, affects your relationships, affect your creativity.

You cannot flow unconditional love to another of you fo not not flow unconditional love to your own physicalness, because at some level if you feel less than good about your own physical expression, you are pinching off  Source/Love.

That aside, i find that i get guided all the time to eat in ways that will promote me feeing good IN my body and ABOUT my body. ALl i do is state the intention of what i want from my body (in terms of physical expression) and viola! I get an intuitive thought or a feeling to do eat this and not that or to choose different foods at different times and to FEEL what my body feels.

I am aware that I have had past times of numbing off and using food to do that in a way that threw my body OFF balance, so i watch out for that. I ask myself do i need water or rest? (because i probably really dont want THAT sugary thing like I THINK i do) Or do i want protein? I feel what I FEEL in my body and really listen to it. What does it want to thrive...i mean REALLY thrive?

Sometimes i will get guided to look up a word on google and it will lead to a new things to ingest! It is how i discovered hibiscus tea! And sometimes i just have a craving for Vit C rich foods or Zink or Magnesium...and on and on.

We can have the amazing bodies we desire. We can have it at any age! It really is fun finding this out through experience. It is a lot of feeling your way and listening and being ON and never numbing out  your body. And if you have a belief that something is not great for you to eat, dont eat it because, you cannot buck the current of that belief.

" When I look at my relationships in the past that is so true. What is sad is that I used to be slim and beautiful but couldn't see it and became a serial dieter. However, my financial abundance was up and down throughout my life. I have had many financially abundant years and many lean years regardless of my body shape.

Have you been doing this since finding Abe or before? I look forward to getting such clear intutive impressions and to be able to release the impulsion to binge.

How did you manage to overcome that? I am looking for a process that will work for me. I still haven't figured out how to align with my body and with food.

I know I spent so much time thinking about my body that I am vibrationally making things worse. It's not easy to ignore the situation when we are so in it.

Indi-em, I had was aware of some guidance before Abraham (I think I led me to Abraham) but it is off the charts now! I will get this buzzy feeling and will go and research and find just what I am looking for.

As far as no longer numbing out, I think I am *feeling* my way through the day more and now when I feel discomfort I pivot and fork and fork and work up the scale, so I am more aware of feeling  and using those tools to feel better and not eating to feel better.  Most times it is Source I want to connect to rather than food.

About the food--I also have a lot of stuff in my arsenals of foods that feel good to my body and I know what will make my blood sugar not wacko, so I have those handy.  I connect to source consciously through the day and I eat regularly too. Small power pack meals, every 3 hours or so. By power packed, I mean nutritional high volume and low in high glycemic foods. I do a lot of conscious deep breathing (VERY DEEP) through the day and drink water.

I am aware how my body should feel (to me)…and I can tell when I feel off (a tiny bit off) and I align and then take inspired action.

I think the thing that was a turning point for me was my CLEAR decision to not decline and my expectation that I was willing to ask and then take inspired guidance that came after I asked. I got clarity about what I wanted my body to feel like and look like and be like and WHY. For the fun of it! And because I can

Scottiedog--I loved Deester's and someone else's answer too, about communicating with the dead (LOL Eddie and your aunt!).
The way I do it is just closing my eyes and going within, and askin a question in my mind, then listening for an answer, which is usually instantaneous, and doesn't feel like 'words' often, but is a feeling--usually a hilarious and always a loving feeling. It's great. I started off a couple of years ago, using my imagination to imagine what they say, but I know now that it's not imaginary, and I trust it completely, because it FEELS right.

I'm very relaxed about what I eat and just LOVE myself & my body and always appreciate and expect to be healthy, and so I am, even though I carry more weight than I 'should'! I am fitter than my slim partner becasue I know to focus on what feels good & don't buy into the whole weight/ diet / fitness issue. Yay for me!!::singer Like anything, it all comes down to how you feel and what feels good to you, no-one else.

Evey .... Awesome reminder.  Fantastical, you vortextanesta, you.  This is a major key for me. 

         Small power pack meals, every 3 hours or so.  I just read in Seth Speaks ... actually in a chapter about dreams & sleep ... where he talks about how much better our vessels would fair if we didn't eat 3 large meals in a day, but instead, do as you are doing.  He says it is paramount to starving the cells, then overloading them, then starving them again, etc.etc.  You having mentioned your habit right after reading what Seth says ... it's like having Source taps me on the shoulder with a 'yoohoo, pay attention".

Funny Susan how the discussion just happened to talk about communing with our croaked love ones as you returned. I aways think of you as such a fantastic manifester of your croaked one still being with you. You have inspired me with your stories.

You know, I've "known" this for a couple of decades, and have seen it at work in others, but got the real proof-positive in my own life some two years ago. I've been a pretty healthy sort for many years, rarely sick, and then a massive-expansion-generating heartbreak in late 2008 was almost immediately paralleled by a persistent, wheezy chest cough that had me spitting into the sink every morning for months, like a smoker; consistent back problems in the mid-spine area (hmmm, heart-region problems again!); and a suddenly abscessed tooth. And because I just wallowed and left it all untreated, having become so accustomed to my BODY healing itself (when I should have been healing my SOUL), the cough dragged on and the abscess led to significant bone loss....thus the bone graft mentioned in last thread, which I was able to avoid in the end with concentrated work on my vibration, both on the body-related level, and on the soul-level, releasing the resentment about the man and moving back into a space of love about that relationship.

to me this says - get in the vortex and ponder.  take inspired actions. then you will be a person who easily controls the look of my physical body.

I simple cannot be reminded of this too many times.  I HOPE and expect I "get" it more each time.  :) 

I have been seeing SUCH improvement in my body in the last couple weeks.  I had some physical manifestations that were not what I consider ideal, and they have now nearly faded away!  THANKS, ABE!!  ♥ ♥

The thing that pops out at me in these first few pages is the emphasis on not comparing yourself or your experiences to others and to tend only to your own personal vibration. 

I lost 65 lbs when I stopped listening to the myriad of information out there on what I "should" or "shouldn't" be doing and eating. 

It goes back to Jerry talking about Winston Churchill smoking cigars and not exercising but living until 90 years old.  My husband makes his living as a singer but he really enjoys his cigars.

And that is why Evey welcomes good health drinking Hibicus tea and eating spinach on wasa crackers while I welcome good health drinking coffee and eating donuts!
