Happy belated one year anniversary. And look at how many posts you have written. It has been such a pleasure for me who has only been a member since March to read how you apply Abe's teaching and how you overcome whatever contrast you encounter. Thank you for being so candid about it all and thank you for the right quotes in this meditation group. I am very appreciative of this group because through it I have adopted the practice of daily meditation that I enjoy so much because it has increased my level of intuition which I know now is when I connect with my IB.
Hoorray for Evey!!!
Lots of love.

Happy Belated One Year-a-versary! I am so grateful you started this post! I'll have to go back and read some of the earlier posts. This post really connects with my heart....each and every post and picture blooms with Vortex invitation. Feeling gratitude for your awesome idea to start this and for each person who contributes. There is never a better way of inviting into your experience than getting really, really excited about something. The more excited you are -- negatively or positively -- the faster, the faster it comes. The more excited you are the faster it comes. And what gets you excited? Talking about it. Or talking to others who are excited about it.

a year..wow!! congratulations Evey!! I am so happy I have attracted you into my life!!
I've been meditating much more consistently since I had a major OOTV experience a few weeks ago. Isn't it interesting how sharp contrast reminds us to practice practice practice?!!

Evey... first off ... a couple days late, but congrats on your one year anniversary. I bet you can't believe it has been a year, huh. You have enriched my life, enormously, this past year as we've crossed paths in a variety of threads and discussions. You are one light-hearted funny joy-filled chick and your thoughts are so open and expansive that we have all fallen in love with our Evey . And, although I have just begun to play with the meditation group (hahaha, I typed medication instead of meditation, and I thought, as I retyped the word, that medication in "Abe speak", kinda works), I have lurked around here and there and felt the enchanted energy coming from here. Nice work, Evey. Be very very pleased with yourself for beginning a discussion that was, apparently, very much wanted.
And second ... this quote is perfection. Do you know which workshop it came from? I can easily get myself amped up by writing to myself about what is exciting me. I find so much joy in writing my own stories and descriptions of the feelings I am thrilling to, and that's as much fun, if not more so, sometimes, than talking with somebody else ... unless it is here on the forum ... but then it's actually writing, isn't it Anyway, this is going on my chalkboard fur sur.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NANCY ! Hope you have a magical year (I wish this for all of us too)
Be happy and appreciative as much as you can that your Source Energy will always stand in the place of your greatest expansion, unerringly and never endingly calling you forward to it. And when you turn even in the slightest in the direction of that, you will feel the relief that always come from going with the flow.- Abraham-Hicks -

Birthdays everywhere!! Evey -- consider this your mediterranation birthday week! Yippeee! I love looking back and saying, "13 months ago, I had no idea that ... ." And I bet you had no idea that your life and outlook could uplift sooooo many people. That's the best part of Abe stuff -- you get used to watching the Universe exceed your expectations!!
Nancy -- Happy Earth Birthday to you!!! Talk talk talk about anything that's exciting ... whooopppeee!!! I know that with your 12 olympics, you are ALL ABOUT THAT!!!
I'm still mediterranating everyday!!! Whoopppeeee!! Sometimes it's not for a fulll 15, but that's not the point. The point is that I always take a little time to meet me. And today, that made me late for an appointment ... but wouldn't you know I was the first person who arrived ... and taking time for mediterration (even if it might make me "late") reminds me that I COME FIRST!!!! Whoooopppeeee!!! Life is flowing all kinds of stuff ...

Woohoo Sasha Tarasa! We have no rules about how we do this...welcome! I ams sure tips are forth coming. I mostly pay attention to my breath and use a timer. Sometimes I play the ABC game.
If you are wanting to know about those who surround you, if you are wondering whether they are upon the path of their intent as they have come into physical expression, pay attention to the emotion that comes forth from within them, for it is not something that is easily hidden. When you are a joyous being, it is obvious, And the joy seeking being is always drawn to the being who is experiencing joy. The Law of Attraction sees to that.

Welcome Sasha!! Here are some of my tidbits off the top of my head ...
1. I lie down ... I get to feel more releasing of resistance when I have less to actively support.
2. I use my cell phone as a timer. That way I turn all ringers off and then I have my timer help me feel assured that I won't fall asleep for 3 hours.
3. I check in at the beginning to feel how fast my mind is moving. If it's moving pretty fast, then I just begin with slowing it down. If I'm pretty "floaty" to begin with, then I can just zone into a focussed thought.
4. I don't go for "no thought." I go for the essence of allowing and that means mediterranation for me is different everyday.
5. I don't make myself do any specific amount of time ... and I rarely go beyond 15 minutes. I like how Abe says we aren't here to meditate our lives away. Meditation is simply a tool to help us learn to focus, but the juice of life is living it.
6. Sometimes my brain won't calm down at all, and that's fine, too. I never look at meditation as "wrong." If I simply lie down and meet myself for a few minutes, then I've "done" it. I love that I now meet myself everyday. I love that I don't worry about "not having enough time." Everytime I take the time to meditate (even if I think I'm gonna be late for something), the Universe arranges it so that timing of all the other components works out. It's beautiful.
