My son graduated from highschool this year.  I am so appreciative that I have been studying these teachings and am so relaxed about his future.  It is HIS future not mine.  In my graduation card to him I wrote that my wish for him is to 'follow his bliss' and to do 'what makes his heart sing'.  He will be just fine, and so will I.

Sandra! ::woohooI feel the same way!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel so good knowing I don`t have to(nor ever wanted to by the way) watch every moves he makes or `direct`him ! We Dó talk a lot and he feels great relief he tells me, when I talk about certain subjects. I tell him its all normal and puberty and I have done it all as well and his father too and that he never should feel ashamed or like a failure and you can start all over any minute because of all the things you experience...Sometimes he calls me `a strange mother` for being proud of him while his grades aren`t very high but he passes anyway. And I say I don`t care how you do it, grades are not important. Its important that you feel good!. I am proud of you of who you are. What a relief to feel so relaxed about his future!Sandra, congratulations!! ::grapevineLeo with a big heart!! ::coolYour words on that card are BEAUTIFUL!!::musicFollow your bliss! ::stardustWhat makes your heart sing!::music Thanks for sharing!

Today's page 173

"When feeling happy is of paramount importance to you - and what you do "for a living" makes you happy - you have found the best of all combinations."

Indeed!! I am looking forward to getting in the Vortex while I am doing what I love and making money from it! ::rocket

::LOLLeslie, I, too, had a wonderful giggle as I wrote down the days in Aug.  I love having an extra day to create ... to take a trip to Never Never Land.

Katherine... Your words were setting off sparks of excitement.  ::wow  I am going to have to check out the prosperity game thread.  And the lyrics to "Enchanted Ever Ever After" .... well, thank you thank you thank you for posting them.  They are a consummate match to my vibrational reality living in Never Never Land.  There is so much beauty in the magic of the FEELINGS of the words.

Sandra ... way cool on the re-manifestation of your book.  And yepper, I love when it happens just as you described.  (and I have to ditto viva's love)

Page 173:   You can become very good at feeling good under all conditions, but when you become good at reaching for your vibrational balance first -- and then attract circumstances and events to yourself from that happy place -- your potential for sustained happiness is much greater.

Feel good first ... feel it forward ... take my feel good vr trip FIRST.  What fun I am in for. Enchanting law, I'ma feel'n.  "Let yourself be enchanted, you just might break through"

::heartsSusan

Conjuring only feeling that thrill me on a vr trip through Never Never Land

I think we should have a little MLoA party ::grapevine here on August 32 - I'll bring some party favors!  Anyone have a birthday on that day?  We can celebrate that too! ::LOL

I LOVE this section of MLoA (really, I love 'em all!)  From page 172:

"We encourage you to decide, as early in life as possible, that your dominant intent and reason for existence is to live happily ever after.  That would be a very good career choice: to gravitate toward those activities and to embrace those desires that harmonize with your core intentions, which are freedom and growth - and joy.  Make a career of living a happy life..."

Sounds good to me!  I've been a mostly SAHM for the past 18 years, homeschooling (really, unschooling) my only child.  It sounds SO wonderful that I can look at the world of work now so differently than I did pre-Abe.  I just can't imagine doing something that I don't enjoy, just for the money.  It's delicious thinking about what I'll get into next.  Oh, and I also feel the same way about my recent grad - I encourage him to follow his bliss and I just KNOW that he will do just fine :beautiful:

OH yeah an extra day in August ::boohoo one more day in my glorious birthday month. And today is my birthday ::singer ::TU Em and everyone for making it a great month already.

I love the idea of making a career of living a happy life! I am more expert at having deep contrast at any present job and that has bounced me into incredible next steps in my career path.

I love the idea about getting really really really excited about something and then talking about it and then wow watching how fast it comes.

I am totally in the Vortex right now. I so appreciate this forum for all it does. It is a great place to milk the Vortex experience.

I love too how this is my 800 post -- I'm with you Joseph.

I'm ::grapevine playing today!! ::TU:kiss: Nancy

Happy Birthdays!!  So much to celebrate these days!  Happy Tuesday to everyone!!  ♥ ♥

I love, too:  "Make a 'career' of living a happy life." YEAH, Baby!  THAT would be an awesome bumper sticker.

I was recently coaching a client on her next phase in her life.  We found something that she likes to do, and we mapped out an easy way for her to make money at it.  At the end, she saw how it could work, and was kind of like, "well, that's cool."  BUT, she wasn't jumping up and down with excitement and so at the end of our session, I had to tell her, "we haven't found it yet.  We'll keep digging till we hit that gusher of excitement."  It didn't even seem that the "good" idea we fleshed out was really offering relief.  So, it wasn't even a good interim step.  Anyway, so great to then get this Abe-confirmation that we made the right move.  I'm sure we'll find it (and by "it" I mean something juicy for her now not a career-to-end-all-other-careers in her life.)

I also love more breaking it down for us -- and the whole "will they be reading this?" question really got me laughing.  I SO LOVE ABE HUMOR!!!  [fun]

Hi guys, you have all missed the true beauty of August 32.  You see, I go back to school/work on August 31st!  Now there is NO August 31st.  And I do not have to work on August 32nd.  So this means 2 more days to sleep in.  Not only for me, but for my glorious, loving but sleepy students.  thank you leslie:beautiful:

I love that quote, too, Sandra! I have written it in the little compendium of Abe quotes that I carry around now.

It's a very exciting quote--the promise of 'sustained happiness.'  Love that!

Happy Birthday, Dear Sandra, Nancy, and Elena again! I am very glad you were born.

And finally, I love this quote from today's page 173:
Jerry: It's considered to be inappropriate to receive money without giving something back for it or without being productive in some way.

One of the best things about the Abe teachings for me was making peace with the money I have inherited.  All I have really had to do to make money was be born and stay alive.
::LOL
I feel so good about that now! I feel like an incredibly powerful creator!
Also, once I had kids, I saw how STRONGLY I felt called to create even more money and abundance for them. So I know I was a powerful co-creator in the attraction of this money to my family.  I just love thinking about it!

Money is delightful! Money is so usefull! It's so appropriate to receive money as easily as we receive oxygen! It's wonderful!

My kids have been hanging out with a cousin who has a different money consciousness than I do.  I asked them this morning for the first time, "How much money is there in the world?"

Simultaneously, one answered, "Plenty!" and the other answered, "Not enough?"

Isn't that interesting?!

I love that "Not enough?" was a question, like, "I have heard people speak of 'not enough money' so I know that is what many people think, but it feels wrong to me....Is that the right answer?"

They'll figure it out for themselves! I don't have to teach them anything!

La la la!
