Happy Birthday Elena, Sandra and Nancy!

Katherine -- your last post was so helpful.

I have felt in and out of alignment about "what's next" for me and I really feel that all the "smart" choices are so-so...

This morning I let myself think about what I really want -- versus what's a logical "next step" -- and I feel totally re-invigorated....

THANK YOU!

Love Katherine that you are looking for the "Life Force" today's quote seemed to be a reinforcement for that. Love that you bring your own deep knowing to your work

Leslie interesting that your two had such different thoughts -- probably related to different experiences but always so amazing how that works.

Qzi good to read you as always. Paul nice that the book really opened you up to do work and now bring those results here.

Eddie I can feel your shifting.

MiAlma I did have the most Vortexy day and weekend and milking if for the month.

Today's page 173

"When feeling happy is of paramount importance to you - and what you do "for a living" makes you happy - you have found the best of all combinations."

Yes Yes Yes this is me and I have found the best of all combinations and it just keeps getting better.

p. 174 was so good for me to read today.  I really needed that reinforcement on not having to justify to another.  I very often have long "justifying" conversations with people I imagine in my mind to be at odds with something I'm doing or thinking of doing.  I mean, it is ALLLL in my mind...

And, yesterday I had a rather icky conversation with a mentor of mine who was projecting certain feelings and reactions on to me and was being very defensive about them.  It got me triggered a bit, but I did manage to realize that it was her biz not mine.  Funny, it is easier for me to see that when it is a client of mine having the reaction than when I am the client.  There's something about expecting people who are "up the food chain" from us to get it right all the time, but none of us ever do.

It is fun to be more and more in that "sure-footed sense of who-you-really-are." ♥

Yes!!! I love that phrase too, Katherine.  "Sure-footed" and "find your balance" are such viscerally clear images of being stable and secure.

Slight rephrase of a quote on page 174:

You will only experience the deliciousness of feeling free when you release your desire to please others and replace it with your powerful intention to align to who-your-really-are (to your Source) by caring how you feel and choosing good-feeling thoughts that let you know you have found your alignment.

Form my mother :
"He who has the pencil in his hand write for himself a happy new year"
The original meaning was that people in the government take care of themselves first.
But what about me? Now I know. I can hold my own pencil in my hand and write for myself "Happy new year Joseph" every day.
From my father: "Nothing ever fall down from the floor"
The original meaning was that when you move things around, put breakable items on the floor so they will not fall down and break.
New interpretation: there is always a floor somewhere, when things go bad they come to the point were they can only get better, so never worry about anything, find the floor and jump up.
Besides, I inherited healthy body, 2 good hands and a head full of ideas.   I always carry that with me. What I don't carry with me is inconsequential, like the reason for summoning life forces. ( see today's quote)

 I love all the fun and love on this forum!

This chapter could not be more appropriate! Yesterday I gave my resignation in to an amazing amazing job and I set in motion the creation of my new business! I already have two clients that will fulfill everything I need and am just finalizing the negotiations, but I can already see that it is going to be so much more lucrative than it already is! And I know it is because I didn't do it for the money, I did it for the FREEDOM! I kept telling my family and friends - I feel like a millionaire finally having my freedom to be my own boss!!! After resigning (which was one of the hardest things I have ever done!) I know I opened the doors to my VE and was stimulting new parts of my brain, I rode my bike to the beach and sat there feeling freer than I ever have! I am going to do everything I can to bask in this incredible feeling as much as I possibly can!! ::woohoo this is all due to Abe and I know a huge part to our playgroup and our focus on fun freedom and ease! I made my VR my current reality!!! So many hugs and kisses to all of you and to Leslie for starting this amazing book study movement that we continue to pursue! I can't wait to read the next book! These books and our play group and my daily alignment focus have been taking my joy and abundance to levels I never knew possible!!!

Oh Nicolette I just love it when you wrote: "Don't you just love feeling good and having a smile on your face??"

It was so cute and made me smile so much!!! You are such a happy person I love your posts!

This song has been in my head for the past two weeks and I keep singing it at the top of my lungs and dancing around, I wanted to share some of the lyrics with you, but if you have a moment, search for it on Youtube and sing along!!!

Freedom '90
George Michael
Edited à la Abe!

All we have to do now
Is take these [stories] and make them true somehow
All we have to see
Is that I don't belong to you
And you don't belong to me
Freedom
You've gotta give for what you take
Freedom
You've gotta give for what you take

...
We were living in a fantasy
...

Well it looks like the road to heaven
...

That's what you get

I say that's what you get

That's what you get for changing your mind

I'll hold on to my freedom
May not be what you want from me
Just the way it's got to be
...
::music

FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

::musicFreedom.........::music.....yes vavi!! That is what we are all reaching for!! I am so happy for you!! I haven't heard that George Michael song ages........Your abe version resonates.......::musicLeslie thank you so much for sharing your story regarding money....I love that even though 'all you had to do was be born and keep breathing' (that made me chuckle lol) you still are reaching for more.....this really helped re-inforce, for me, the message that Abraham gives us that we are creatures yearning for expansion, no matter what we already have...we want more.  I Love that!! Thank you!::huggingMore happy birthdays!! Thank you Eddie and Elena!! ::hugging  and happy birthday to you as well Elena!!I LOVE birthdays.... I do enjoy being 29 again and again and again (my story folks ;) Joseph your new story is awesome --'Besides, I inherited healthy body, 2 good hands and a head full of ideas.   I always carry that with me. ...that need to defend will quickly subside when you have trained yourself into alignment with your Inner Being, because all feelings of vulnerability will have been replaced with a sure-footed sense of who-you-really-are.

Tonight I spent time in a hospital waiting room with family that I haven't been around in quite a while.  I had a feeling of vulnerability.  If anyone can hurt me, these people can.  I know that I allow this to happen, so I have learned to keep my visits short and sweet.  This quote from page 174-5 is so re-assuring to me....I AM becoming more sure-footed of who-I-really-am.   I'm getting better at all this....I AM quite proud of me.::nod

And, p. 175 is nearly all pink after my reading this morning.

On the topic of what others think, I love these gems:  "those who continue to criticize you would find no satisfaction in your justification, no mattr how compelling your argument is."  How true!  I've noticed that, but instead of thinking that that is just the way it is, I kept looking for a more compelling argument.  What relief that there is NO ARGUMENT COMPELLING ENOUGH -- plus it is NOMB!!  (none of my business)

AND, I love this one:  "the onlookers you are seeking to please do not sustain long-lasting attention upon you."  Again, YES -- even family members!  Never thought about it exactly in those terms.  This brought great clarity to me!  THANKS, Abe! ♥

Phewwww! Relief. I feel relief reading this! Thanks Katherine! Is it looking for love in ALL the wrong places to think we can get/give unconditional love as physically focused humans. No matter how much we so want to and want others to do this, is it something we should be looking for Source to do and not our family/loves/mothers. Doesn't it feel so much better to let everyone else off the hook about how they love us? It is NOMB!

::boohoo what an amazing group. Vavi I am just inspired by you and your moving forward to FREEDOM. I join MiAlma and probably everyone on this thread in saying CONGRATULATIONS.

I found years ago that if anyone put me in a box I would need to break out so I formed my own not for profit. Lots of freedom now I am moving to abundance.

Love your birthright thoughts Leslie and Joseph. We are enough!

Thank you Elena -- I just love love love milking my birthday so again ::TU:kiss: My horoscope was all about enjoying life -- it was PERFECT!

everyone who has sent such wonderful wishes my way.

Sandra ::woohoo to your sure-footedness!!

Ditto Evey regarding Katherine's quote. NOMB -- has become something I have begun telling myself.

Nancy! Keep milking that magnificent birthday joy!!!!

Ahhhh, I love this thread so much!!! And today's page is magnificent. Katherine, I agree--the WHOLE PAGE is fantastic. So anyone out there following along, page 175 in the Money and the Law of Attraction book is WORTH READING!!!

I'll quote some of it here: MLOA p 175
It is not your role to fix the feeling of lack within others; it is your role to keep yourself in balance.
Phew! And now, the bit that is rocking my world today:
Abraham:  What is the primary reason for the desire for a career?

Jerry: I read a study done recently that concluded that what most people are looking for is prestige. In other words, if offered the choice of having a higher title or more money, most choose the title.

Abraham:  Those who are seeking prestige have replaced their own Guidance System with seeking approval from others, and that is a rather unfulfilling way to live because the onlookers you are seeking to please do not sustain long-lasting attention upon you.
I have money, but I want prestige. And that is because I have replaced my guidance system with seeking approval from others. And as Abe tells us today, this is a completely unsatisfying way to run my life, because others are so fickle!

So, it is time to start letting the prestige-seeking fall by the wayside, to allow my sure-footed inner being start dictating my actions more and more. What do I think? How do I feel? Right now, I feel relief. And Sandra, I feel proud of you, too.

Any moment of consciously improved emotion is complete success.

Loving this understanding!!! I LOVE THIS STUDY GROUP!!!!

“Oh, but Abraham, that doesn’t seem logical. You want me to
think an airy-fairy pretend thought? You want me to put my head
in the clouds, or in the sand? You want me to pretend that something
that isn’t, is?”
Yes.
“You want me to fantasize? You want me to imagine? You want
me to use words that aren’t true?”
Yes.
“You want me to pretend that I’m slender when I’m fat?”
Yes.
“You want me to pretend that I’m prosperous when I’m
poor?”
Yes.
We want you to think the thoughts that match what you want until
you believe them. And when you think the thoughts that match what you
want until you believe them, Universal Forces will give you the proof of
your belief. But if you need to see it before you believe it, it cannot come.
You have to believe it before you see it.
