Can someone tell me the steps to manifesting an apartment?

1. Focus on it.
2.  ?
3. Allow it to come

I'm not sure what else, besides being in a good mood, thinking positive thoughts and not focusing on what I don't have.::chin

Thats my story of manifesting what we wanted:

-We wanted something we could live in right away,

-with private, green backyard,

-close to Manhattan(I worked there at the time),

-close to Brooklyn(my husband worked there),

-close to the beach(I love ocean any time of the year).

After a year of looking in Brooklyn(we we were living at the time) we couldn't buy anything - everything we saw was either way too much that we could not afford or just ran down spaces that needed a lot of renovation.

We were pointed to SI by friends, but for my husband was very difficult to accept even to cross the bridge.  So I don't remember how I made him go, and then I had an idea to go eat in a restaurant there.  The food was so good, and we saw a lot of people sitting around, quite good looking, and happy(we had an image of SI completely distorted).  When we went out of the restaurant I remember how he took a breath of air and said "Hmm. It is possible to live here too!".  We went to the ocean, then to a broker.  In 2 days she showed us 3 houses - each of them we could just buy - they were absolutely everything we wanted (look above)!

We were looking in Brooklyn all the time thinking thats the only place close to Brooklyn, Manhattan, ocean...

We found what we wanted, and much more - in a place we didn't even think about.

So,

-We wanted something we can live in right away - we just moved in and live, no additional investment

-with private, green backyard - the backyard is more then private - its unique - the lake starts from our backyard, and we can go in row boat, and in a winter ice skate right from our back door

-close to Manhattan - it takes me 15min drive to Battery Tunnel

-close to Brooklyn - it takes me 15 min to Coney Island, and 5 to Bay Ridge,

-close to the beach(It takes me 5 min to drive to the miles and miles of Boardwalk and ocean beaches)

More:  it takes me only 5 min to drive to Greenbelt forest and hike there all day and feel that you are in Bear Mountain somewhere. BTW, we have hiking meetups too!

I wrote all this not because I was indulging in how great it is.  Even though, Abe says it is good to milk our good experience.  Mostly I wrote to show that we can be more specific (then we need to be more in alignment) and less specific (if not in alignment, this can come quicker because you don't limit yourself that much).  We were very specific at first, but not in alignment, and couldn't get anything.  Then we stayed specific on what we want, but easy-ed on where it should be, and right away 3 places float to our experience.

On the house we chose there was bidding war- 5 people wanted to buy.  They all had more money then we are, but we just happens to be in the neighborhood of this house at the moment when they start bidding, we rang a bell, and met an owner.  She liked us personally very much, not to tell the whole story, she stop bidding when we said the second price!  That was amazing, probably first time I clearly saw that Universe is helping thouse who are in alignment( I didn't know Abe then:)

Anyways, dear SlowJam - I want you so much to have sunny place - in fact I already see you in an apartment/house so full of sun - you are playing your harp and tanning at the same time:))::LOL!!!!! Hugs!

Yes! I have lots of suggestions to pass along that have worked great for me. Maybe something will resonate with you:

-Start looking for all of the things that you DO like in your current living space. Appreciate the heck out of it to the tiniest little detail: It has a roof and four walls, it keeps me out of the cold and off the street, its my own space and so on.
-Acknowledge that your current living space is a stepping stone home (thank it for what it has been for you) and that you now open up the way to a wonderful new home that will satisfy your every want and need.
-Recognize that its not your job to figure out how the new home will come, only that it will come and what you want it to be like. Tell the universe that you really want this new home, and that your not sure how to get and that you will put your trust into the universe to figure it out for you.
-Get right down to the feeling of the new home in a way that feels really good to you. If you find yourself worrying about a certain aspect such as the expense then remind yourself that it is possible to find the perfect home for you right now that will be a big improvement and a step up.
-If you haven't already, read "Ask and it is Given" and try the process that feel best to you. This book is brilliant!  Brilliant, I say!
-Once you've sat down and been really clear with the universe (write a list down if it helps) with what you want, recognize that you only ever need to tell the universe once. You are welcome to repeat if you like but only if it feels good, not if it makes you focus on the lack, then let it go....let it go....let it go...and go have some fun. Do some things that you like, read a book, watch a movie, take a walk. Whatever. When it pops up again, just remind yourself that the Universe is on it. It really is! I promise!

***If you find yourself feeling uncertain and full of resistance remind yourself that you are learning a wonderful new way of living your life. Thank your emotions for reminding you that you are thinking thoughts that are out of sink with what you want and say things like "It will be great when I figure this out." and enjoy the learning process.

PS. I manifested a 2 story 2300 sq foot house 1 year after I returned from travelling for 1.5 years and had spent most of my money. It had everything my husband and I needed and wanted including a green space for me to go for walks through a gate in my backyard! It cost exactly what I wanted to spend, we bought it at the bottom of the market, at the lowest interest rate point that has been out there and in 4 months we've somehow managed to save up for the new roof it needed and a whole lot more.

Also, my dear friend lives in a big city in a basement suite paying $600 for a place that would normally go for $1000 or more. She isn't an Aber and knows nothing about it but she decided she wanted a place of her own and what she wanted and low and behold a friend's daughter was moving out of the basement and she said...how much do want to pay? and voila!

You can do this my friend! ::hugging

I live with my mom....I just started appreciating things here to begin manifesting an apartment of my own...like having a roof over my head and being in a warm place outside of the cold...too old to be here. Great advice I will follow it and I do have the book...thanks a lot!::TU

I just did. I just moved into a new apartment that is like heaven compared to the old place.

I did a lot of appreciating where I was. Always focussing on how nice it was to be within walls. There were things about it I did like. I thought it was peaceful, so I focussed on that. I thought the grounds like quite nice, so I focussed on that.

My new place is so quiet and peaceful. Whenever a car drives up into the parkinglot I hear it. I was right next to a major highway before. Oh, and the grounds look like a resort compared to the other. When I walk up to my apartment to go in the door I am facing a beautifully landscaped pool and hottub area. Management shows thier appreciation once a month by fixing us a huge breakfast buffet one Saturday a month. That would be today.

I like the country so this place is surrounded by ranches.

My apartment feels so clean and mold-free. It is significantly bigger than the last so the livingroom seemed a bit empty, though I enjoyed that too. However, I was offered a comfy love seat and coffee table which should also arrive today. Free.

How would it FEEL to have your desire? I find that a good way to go so I can avoid getting what I think I want which does not fill the feeling bill. I use meditation and I pull up the feelings that I desire as much as I can. It gets a little better each time.

My new place feels great. Now I can step it up. I want to feel good at work too.......

i manifested an apartment.

i was living with a roomate and our lease was ending in september. it was late may, my temporary job was about to end, and unemployment in this state only pays $275/week max, which i wouldn't have even qualified for (the maximum amount, that is). everyone was asking, "what are you going to do, michelle?" i would say,  "i don't know, but i can tell you this:  i'm moving into a 2-bedroom apartment by myself in september."

i needed to make $525/month more than i made at my old job to be able to pay the rent. and even though i had no job and no prospects, it never even occured to me that it wouldn't happen. i just KNEW.

one day, right after my temp job ended, i saw a little ad in a little island paper. i ripped it out, promptly forgot about it, and went on with my life.  a few days later, i saw it lying around and said, "well, i may as well call this..."

turns out they were interviewing on that day only for the position. i drove out there, got the job, and guess what i made--$525/month more than my old job. AND it was only 30 hours/week.  AND i only worked 3 days/week. in a row. that's a 4 day weekend every week, baby.

i never even went on unemployment. and in september i moved into my 2-bedroom apartment sans roomate, just like i knew i would.

I was blessed with a new home, quickly and exactly as I had pictured!

Purposely, I visualized it. What do I want in my new home? A Japanese maple at the entry. Shingles. A window-seat. A garden I can play in.  Details in a broad sense...not too specific. No expectation that one house would have everything, I just tossed out my dream ideas.

I asked my 15 year old: "since we need a new house, what do you want it have? Help me picture it" ... she wanted a 'red door'.  "OK -- then picture it. Dream yourself walking home from school each day and opening the red door."

On my commute I would visualize leaving and arriving home. Living in it.

A few weeks after our discussion we had 30 minutes to kill before picking up a friend for dinner...what do you want to do, I asked. She said, "Let's drive around and see if we can find our new house."  I thought...it's dark, most homes don't have signs for rent...so I suggested we go on CraigsList. We did. First one... "Adorable home, not a condo, for rent" ... checked address...right around the corner, convenient for us to go drive by. We did. As we came around the corner we could see a porch light reflection. My daughter says, "I have a good feeling about this." And, I did too!

She screamed. Stone steps lead up to a maple on the left before a beautiful red door. Simple but beautiful landscaping.  We got out -- felt it was so right and then I noticed the large window that stuck out as if it was already MY window seat.

I was quietly appreciating. I was smiling to point of it hurting!  I was so excited. I also knew to continue to just let it unfold. No control, no planning...allowing and appreciating.

The rest is detailed a few complications that delayed it (only by 2 days) we were the new renters. Price was the same as the old house. Distance to school was the same. But the list of 'betters' was incredible. And now -- as I sit here in my beautiful bedroom looking out the window seated window to the garden ... I continue to smile and appreciate the ease with which I was able to manifest of my wonderful new home.

It's supposed to be easy. It felt easy. It felt right. It was fun! It was to be ...

Good luck to all of you that are looking for new homes, or manifestations of any kind. It's as easy as letting go of the oars. It's visualize. It's ALLOW it to come. It's Appreciate the process. It's all so good and so fun!!

Oh yea! So, my DH and I were living in a condo and we had a rascal neighbor above us. (We were rascals to each other, but she started it! ::LOL) It was A LOT of contrast - 5 years worth - but now I can appreciate it. :allgood

So one day my DH and I were at dinner and he just kind of said "maybe we should move." and he started talking about all the reasons why it would be great.

We talked about all the things we wanted in a house... end unit (we live in a townhouse), garage, finished loft, finished walk-out basement, deck, warm and sunny, some yard...

We ended up going into a contract for a house that had SOME of those things, but even the things that it had were not so good. The basement was small, the loft was finished but not finished well. There was a big tree in the back, so it was dark - not sunny! No garage. I asked to see the place again, and after that I told my DH "I don't know about this place. Something doesn't feel right. Maybe we need to go out and look one more time."

Meanwhile, we went around our whole neighborhood with our Realtor, so we weren't exactly feeling like we would find anything, but I just *had* to take one more look. Luckily, my DH agreed.

We were driving around, and then went down to the end of the road we were on, turned into that development, and went to the end. And there was a house at the end with a tiny sign on the 2nd floor window that said "for sale".

From the outside, we could already tell that it was a lot of what we asked for. And when we got to see it - we *knew* this was the place for us. It was PERFECT. It had every single thing we wanted - AND MORE!

When we walked in, we both were so excited and said "This is the one!" I never felt a more anxious excitement in my life than when we were about to move in. I couldn't wait! We've been here almost 6 years, and I still love this place!

By the way, certain circumstances (thank you Universe!) allowed us to break the other contract so that we could buy this house. AND it was only $10k more than the other house, and have no idea why because it is SO much better.

So I was wanting to add a question to this thread.......

Has anyone manifested a specific house?

I have a dream house that is a quite a bit pricer than the house that we live in, I won't say how much because I'm trying not to dwell on that fact but letting you know that is one thing that keeps me from just walking up and buying the house.   I LOVE THIS HOUSE and imagine myself in it daily.  We went a little over a year ago and did a walk threw, so I know what it looks like on the inside.  I"ve decorated this house for Christmas and reivated the basement to look like the College Football Team my hubby loves  in my mind.  I've imagined myself just plan out living in it.  I LOVE THIS HOUSE!!!

Funny thing is that I've been invisioning in this house things like decoration the kitchen with Ginger BReadmen for Christmas and my hubby having a work out room in the basement, and a flat screen TV.  Well he got a NICE workout bench and Flatscreen TV from his mom and I got all kinds of GingerBread men decorations from his mom also.  The little details that I imagine in this house I seem to be getting before the house.

I do know that in the past that I REALLY wanted to win the lottery to buy this house, well I still REALLY WANT TO WIN THE LOTTERY ( just an ambition of mine).  But I have realized that miracles can happen and I could buy this house by other means.  I just manifested our roof done at no cost to me and my hubby, WONDERFUL thing!  SO I do know that it can be done.... Just wondered if anyone manifested a certain house, exact address....?

I'd love any suggestions,LOL! ::devil

I manifested a house (prior to seeing a clip on Youtube of Abraham). I wrote on it a bit earlier in this thread. Walking is one of my favourite ways to deliberately create. Normally, I go somewhere in nature, focus on some of the beautiful things I see, the fresh air, the soft dirt beneath my feet, new growth, or changing leaves and think about what I want.
:shock::shock::shock:
I did this when I got back from traveling and my husband and I were renting. We wanted a place of our own in about a year. When I went for my walks I thought about what we wanted in a house, the time frame, what we wanted to pay, and I included that I wanted to get it for the best interest rate out there and at the bottom of the market.
::rocket
After a while I just forgot about it ie. released it and I didn't even realize when the 1 year mark arrived. I was even feeling uncertain about buying a house at that point in time and thought it might be a while before we could. Someone mentioned that the interest rates had been hiked, so I called the mortgage broker I had talked to briefly a while back and she had just locked us in with a rate hold for 3 months at the lower interest rate.
::downstream
We figured we might as well look at houses (just for fun) and about 6-8 weeks later we were signing papers for the house we now live in.
::grapevine
It had all the things we wanted, including location. Our down payment and monthly payments were exactly what I had asked to have (even though we didn't think we had the money at the time - we managed to scrounge it up on our own) and the interest rate was at its all time low and the market was just starting to turn back up!

It seems to me that I manifest things really easily when I am comfortably specific about what I want, don't bother with the 'how' details, and then just let it go. The universe always delivers. ALWAYS!

Good luck! Let us know how it goes.::group

PS. Since then, even though our expenses have practically doubled we have somehow managed to increase our bank accounts by about $30,000 in about 4 months, without really trying and without really doing anything all that different. (except for me getting more comfortable with money, spending it when I want to and trusting that there will always be enough).

Has anyone manifested a specific house?

Yes Yes Yes..before I was married my fiance and I would actually walk by and talk about living in a very special house. When we married we bought a house 4 blocks away (that one wasn't for sale and it was way out of our price range anyhow)  2 years went by and we wanted a larger house, found one put a contract on  it - it fell through 10 days before closing due to a bank freeze. (we were so disappointed - we didn't realize what was cooking)

A few months pass and we hear the fabulous house we love is going to be sold...

We made an offer they turned us down, they wanted more $$$$.

They put it on the market for a few months, interest rates go up, then they come back to us and ask if we would like to buy the house at our original offer, well YES we want it, except we have to lower the offer because the interest rate went up. We lived there quite happily for many years.

I have many incredible house stories and I am getting ready to create another one.

love

V, Your story is what I want to hear, hehehe!

I saw this house a couple of years ago, me and hubby decided to turn down this road that is just around the corner from us.  It was a new subdivision and the house by the road was very pretty, so we wanted to see what else was in there.

Well we happened upon this house that to me looks like a castle.  I just absolutely loved it.  Well time went on and I just forgot about it. ( 2 years had past)

My sister inlaw who use to live next to us had moved, she discovered the house across the street from her was for sale. ( this is during the time of all the foreclosures )   At this point I had just discovered LOA threw " the Secret", and was in the process of making myself a vision board.  We need a new house because we currently live in a 3 bedroom, but just had a SURPRISE 3rd child.  Well when I was making this vision board I wrote on it that I wanted a bigger house w/ a basement, hand full of things that our house has and I wanted it in the same School distict that we live in.

The house that my sister inlaw told me about and give me a print out of the house, was nice but it didn't have the basement and was not in the school district.  I put that picture on my vision board.  I was okay with this house but not excited, the house was an exact replica of my sister inlaw's and I love doing home decore.  I was a little afraid of friends and family doing a comparison of our houses.  But I'd take it if I had to.  WE JUST NEED A BIGGER HOUSE,lol!

Well, Low and behold we decided to go down that same road we went down 2 years ago, I still had forgot about this house UNTIL...........  I seen it again, and this time is was for sale!   I couldn't believe it.  I just knew that was the one.  And when we got home I looked it up on the net and it had EVERYTHING I wanted including the school district.  My hubby jokingly told me that I better take the picture of the old house down and glue this one on it instead. lol!  I did! And what made it so funny was when I took my attention from this house, it sold.  Told hubby I was no longer interested in it so I didn't need it,lol!

A year has pasted since then and unfortunately they've taken the house off the market, it's no longer for sale. It's is a high price and would not sell in this economy right now, YEAH! ( that saves it for me!!)  BUT  we met with the guy who owned it, to take a look threw when it was still up for sale.  He's a Dr that really loved the house but the hospital that he works at had moved and he wanted to relocate closer to this hospital for those times he's on call.  He even said that he was planning on building this same house in his new location after selling this one.  SO I know that he would be willing to sell if given the oppurtunity, AND we have his home phone number from when we called to make the appointment.  My hubby but it in a book as a book mark.:)

So I'm just waiting for LOA to line things up for me......  I just can't imagine myself in any other house!!! ::hearts::hearts::hearts

Have you been using the 17-68 seconds on http://www.abrahamappreciators.com  I love it.  It's in the Resource Pages section.

You can live and breathe yourself in that house for 68 seconds at a time, you will know what action to take and if /when it is time to take action.

Maybe another house that is actually better will show up, meanwhile you are enjoying where you are and enjoying the feeling of expansion.

We did not focus on actually acquiring that house and very much enjoyed our lives where we were.

It all seemed like a "miracle" when it happened. I did not know about LOA then.  Looking back it was rather funny how the other house fell through. It would have been very right for us too, and actually a much easirer house to live in as it did not need remodeling.

A few years ago as a single parent I was living in an apt. had a few landlord contrasts and I really desired a house, I did not think the bank would give me a mortgage on my income. I kept the vision though of having a house in a nice neighborhood.

Some weekends just for fun we would look at houses to see what was out there. A realtor said why don't you just check if you can get a loan. Suddenly I had a pre qualification letter from the bank and a few weeks later found a cute little house that needed a ton of work in a nice neighborhood. My kids and I did much of the work and subbed out other work. This house is awesome, I have it on the market now and the people that have come through say it looks like a model home.

I already know what my next house feels like.::woohoo

Thank you V for the link,  I did look at it.  At first I didn't understand what I was to do, but poking around answered my question, lol!

Yesturday I was reading some of the different thread and after I posted the question above  I ran across a subject that got my attention like someone was telling me you need to read this.  It was about writing down your wishes and if anyone had any benefit out of it.  I had tried this before only a couple of times and realized that when I did do it and with ALOT of feeling that I did get it..... Or at least part of it.

The first time I had ever tried writing I just had an inspired thought that I needed to do this, so I took a note pad into the bathroom so as to not wake any one.  I wrote a story as if I was the author to my life and what ever I wrote came true because I always get what I want!! hehe!  Well I wrote that the lottery( mega millions) would get to $200 million by my birthday ( Oct,19  2009) and that I would win it.  WELLLLL, It got to exactly $200 million but I didn't win it,lol!  I read somewhere in the post that I should be so greatful and amazed at what I manifested.  I didn't write this in the thread but someone else had an experience happen that did not manifest all the way and they were upset that they didn't get what they wanted.  But someone told them to be thankful that they did manifest part of it and hopefully the next oppurtunity will be hers.  Well I'm thankful that I manifested exactly $200 million dollars on my birthday.  Not a penny less or a penny more, lol!

So maybe with your suggestion and what I feel to be an inspired suggestion, haha!  I will give this a try..... Thank you!

YES, I have manifested a specific house twice now. The 2nd one (currently living in) was the most deliberate manifestation. This is my 1st post so hopefully the story provides inspiration!

There is a neighborhood that I have LOVED since I was about 14 years old. The neighborhood is built around a golf course and has older homes on large lots, mostly ranch-style homes. One of my long-term goals was to own a home in this neighborhood, with a pool and golf course views. 10 years later, my husband and I would drive around this neighborhood, pointing out which houses we liked and which ones we didn't. We were already living in a picture-perfect house that we loved and appreciated and we had no plans of moving yet. It was just FUN to drive around and appreciate all of the beautiful homes and how wonderful it would be to live in the golf course neighborhood someday.

Last year, we decided that we wanted to have kids and I began to focus on moving to a bigger house. I wrote detailed description of how it would feel to live in our house in this neighborhood and carried it around with me. An example of what I wrote:
We love our single-level house with golf course views. It's so freeing to have all of this extra space! I love having a big backyard with a pool. It's wonderful to cook and entertain in a spacious kitchen with stainless-steel appliances! It's so much fun to host Sunday dinners with our friends and family and we can invite as many people as we want! I love how our house was already remodeled and ready for us to move in! The nursery is decorated with matching cribs and stocked with all of the toys, books, diapers and clothes that our little ones will need. (There was more to the description, about 1/2 page typed but you get the idea, I visualized every room, how it looked and how happy it made me feel to enjoy that space)

I spent a few hours each week looking at homes in this neighborhood and a few other areas that would be nice to live in. Then, I found THE house in THE neighborhood, backs up to the driving range (in a perfect spot that rarely gets any golf balls) with an expansive view of the grass & mountains. It matched my description perfectly. Completely remodeled, brand-new paint & carpet, huge bedrooms, pool, big yard, single-story, EVERYTHING. In fact, my husband pointed out that I didn't put "garage" in my description (not something I get excited about) and that is the only thing this house is missing!  ::LOL

The house was listed higher than I intended to pay for it, but I could just FEEL that it was THE house. I was so jazzed by finding it that I didn't sleep for 2 nights, all night I thought about the house and where our furniture would go and how great it would be to have parties there and how much I would enjoy the golf course view, etc. I went over there a few times a week (it was vacant) to visualize living there and appreciate every little detail. I had photos of the house as my desktop background on my computer. I wrote up an offer for $50,000 less than it was listed, signed it and then put it in my drawer (didn't send it to the real estate agent).

Within a couple weeks, the house was reduced by $25,000 AND something came together in our business that would bring us a large sum of money. Taking those cues from the universe, I sent the offer over and after some negotiation, we agreed on a price that was about $8,000 lower than they were asking. A few days later, we found out that the house appraised for EXACTLY the price I had written on my original offer (that sat in my desk for 2 weeks before I sent it) AND the seller agreed to sell it at the lower price. So I got THE house I described, at THE price I originally wanted to pay AND my parents *completely unexpectedly* gave us the 20% down payment. That felt like a manifesting "bonus" and I still don't know why they did that, but it was awesome and I'm incredibly grateful!
