SlowJam, Thank you for starting this thread! I've had a lot of resistance to manifesting a place of my own so I'm grateful you started this discussion.

And thank you to everyone who has posted, there are so many experiences that I find inspirational and uplifting that I feel hopeful I can manifest my own place this year and that is a thrilling thought! ::woohoo

Absolutely, I agree with Skye.  This thread has been such an inspiration as I am currently building my place too.

Have you gone from anorexic apartment life to abundance, ease, natural flowing, joy?

Just saw this thread for the first time.  YES, this happened to me this year.  Massive upgrade with no logical reason behind it.  I could try to explain the "how" but the details are not really important.  I did not manifest the cash, but our landlord asked us to move out of our 1100 sq ft charming lil shoebox and into a 3400 sqft amazing home on a cul-de-sac with beautiful landscaping and a million other things I've wanted, for the same monthly rent.  No catch.  My mom paid to have my piano moved from her house to the new one right away :)

Great thread and yes, I've done it too!

I used to day-dream about walking daily along a beautiful beach with my partner and dog. (I was living inland, on a tight budget, single and dog-less at the time.)  I used to talk about it and drew it regularly whenever I was drawing with children.  I was pre-Abe then but also did my version of the Creation Box and the Creative Workshop, as well as imagining it regularly, rather like the Virtual Reality process. I meditated daily, clutter cleared, and even started packing before I knew where I was going!

I wanted this for years but it wasn't until I got really clear about my intentions and stopped giving out mixed messages (I think this is key) that things changed for me, and then I VERY QUICKLY changed my entire situation and moved into what is now my lovely home, with my partner.  We have sea views, just 5 minutes walk from a beautiful, sandy beach.  And, I didn't even need any money as he bought the house just before we got together (and by the way, it's exactly what I would have chosen)!  I even manifested help with all the removals - costs, man (very experienced) and van (a big, new one) were all sorted easily for me.

So, yes, you CAN absolutely do this!!  You CAN live the life of your dreams!

SlowJam, have you read my thread? http://theabeforum.com/forum9/17611.html

I am "renting" a room in my childhood fantasy home. Of course I want to be on my own, but this is powerful driftwood for me. I know without a shadow of a doubt I am on the right path.

I am a very happy camper these days:)

I have as well manifested a gorgeous apartment, very quickly lol. I am very happy with myself for it and anytime I think of it I get filled with this sense of bliss. I had only 2 days to find a one bedroom apartment within my price range. The market was generally so that the type of flat's i would want are £700 a month and up, and I was looking at spending a max of £500 which I was told was IMPOSSIBLE!

I love that word - i get the case of giggles when I think about it! lol

Anyway, so that night I decided to try full on just manifesting the flat in thought and then letting go. I knew that my money vibration was still ornery so I thought instead that I'll just forget about money woes and focus on what i want - not including money.

SO, i daydreamed for about 5 - 10 mins on finding this gorgeous flat. I didnt think about th details, inf act, i didnt eve know what the flat looked like in my dreams! I just felt what it felt like when i looked at it. I was swimming in emotions of bliss and peace with regards to this apartment. All the while I was feelign this joy, i was telling myself "it's going to feel like this but be even better!". I stopped myself, still buzzing from the nice surge in joy, and then I went to bed. I didnt think anymore about getting an apartment or the possibility of househunting and signing a contract in just 2 days. I just, happily went to bed. I didnt think "this is done" i was just happy that it felt so good.

Next morning, flurry of activities led to my fiance calling my previous letting agency and telling we want to view some stuff. They're busy for the next 2 weeks and the only time they can slot me in would be in the next 1.5hrs. Our location at that time was 1 hr away so we immediately got in the car and drove like maniacs.
Got there early and she was waiting there for another client but let us see the apartment before him becaue he was late. I didnt like it but didnt let that bum me down, I was just generally very positive that day and it all felt so good. I could have even lived in the first place she showed with no real problems. It was nice, just not what I wanted and not at the price i wanted. We thanked her and then as we were walking of she said that she thinks she might have a place that I would love, but she's going to view another client there now. if we could meet her there in 20 mins it would be perfect.

I get excited because its an unexpected but kind offer so we drive to the locale to meet her there. 10 mins later she arrives and we go into this place. A converted factory - gorgeously converted. Yummy :)

She carries us in and we start following her to the top floor (4th floor, uneven steps, no elevator, listed building). A one bedroom loft apartment with exposed beams, views of the city, old school windows surrounding the entire floor, and a recessed den! £500. Secure underground parking. In the heart of the city. Larger than the previous 2 bedroom apartment I was in.

My jaw dropped. As I entered the place I knew that this was what I dreamed of. This was it. I didn't think that it would be it but it was. I always wanted to live in an apartment like this but i thought i'd have to have loads of cash and know some people and be lucky to get it. But no, I just had to find the "feeling place" of it.

Now I get what they mean! I really do get it! Finding the feeling place is so much more important than any visuals! The visuals help in getting the feeling but they're not so important. Feel your way through it and rejoice and bathe in that feeling! It is so important! Then just let it go! Feel it for the joy in feeling it. You dont need to have visuals because you already know what you want. And it's YOU who is creating it. Your inner being is YOU. You dont need to keep asking yourself to do something, you know what you want already. Just feel it and then receive it. You dont need the visuals, you jsut need to feel good. Just feel good :)

Oh wow, I'm just so... so filled with love.

I signed that contract that day - record time for house hunting! I am in the flat of my dreams and Im loving every minute of it.

I went from small apartment living (13 years) to a beautiful townhome on the golf course (no less).  Here's the tricky part, for a long time I hated the apartment, hated having to raise my son there, blah, blah, blah....then i decided to give up hating because it drained my energy.  Once I gave up the hatred.....shortly thereafter, I was browsing on Craigs list :) playing around in the to rent section, and voila, a lovely townhome on the golf course in the same town popped up and I was able to afford it.  Then I went through all the thoughts of  doubt, how will I afford, what if they check my credit. yada, yada, I decided to give that up as well, and before you know it.....bingo, call from the man who showed me the townhome saying it was mine!

My son and I lived there for one glorious year, until I was able to buy a condo.  I woke up every morning to gorgeous views of the well maintained golf course, lots of wildlife, beautiful flowers. etc.  For me I guess it was basically just saying "screw it" and it came to me.

best wishes!

Hi everyone

Yes, I've done this twice! The first time was kind of accidental - we were living in a very old house, pretty much broke, 4 kids, and I wanted a 2 story pretty house. I pinned a picture of the house I wanted (cut from a real estate magazine) on the dining room wall. Whenever anyone asked I told them that was the house I wanted. I was pretty relaxed about it because I really didn't think it would happen! (This was a long time pre-Abe awareness)

When we moved to our current city we found a 4 bedroom house that was the perfect price, and I was emailing a pic to my daughter overseas. When I saw the email I realised it was almost exactly the same house I'd had on my wall! Except the one we bought was bigger!! ::LOL::LOL::LOL

Earlier this year we decided to move again. My husband (who doesn't believe in all this 'crap') laughed at me for putting a pic on my desktop of the house I wanted. He doesn't laugh now, because the first house we saw was an immediate emotional connect for us both - but too expensive. We were very sad, but walked away. Two months later we went back - the price had dropped by 100k and now we could afford it AND to have the kitchen, bathroom and laundry renovated straight away. Again, this house wasn't exactly the same as the one I had pictured - it was BIGGER ::LOL::LOL::LOL.

1.  Let go of the price tag/urban myth.  In Abe world there are plenty of available, affordable, even (dare I say) rent controlled apartments all over NYC--and one of them is yours.  I manifested a gorgeous, sunny 2Br apt. in a rent controlled brownstone on 7th Ave in Park Slope where I wanted to live for only $700mo.

True that.  I live on the UES off Lexington and E. 61st for only $900.  Be open to the Universe providing you clues and contacts.  It's a better real estate agent than any.  The Universe told me to ask a specific friend I never would have asked if he knew of anyone looking for a tenant.  His coworker is a landlady and was.  I now live in a gorgeous Manhattan 1BR with a terrace balcony and a fantastic view.  $900 a month.  Trust the LOA.  It also helps to obtain a photograph of the kind of place you want.  I found one and put it on my computer screen as the desktop background two months ago.  Now I live there!

Wow, this is an awesome thread! Thanks SlowJam, and thanks to all the inspiring stories! I also want to give a shout out to Carl, who posted an awesome reply a while back that really gave me an "aha". Thanks, Carl!

I too, have manifested a house. Like AlwaysLovely (I loved your post, btw!) I found the "feeling place" of it. At the time, I was living in the city, sharing a 2 bdrm apartment, not connected to my abundant cash flow, etc. I started to have this sort of vague vision (and I really "felt" it) in my head of green grass, blue skies, hanging laundry out on a line, and a white fence. That's pretty much it. I went to that feeling place only a few times, for fun/relief, and with absolutely no intent of manifesting anything, as this was pre-Abe for me (not that Abe is all about manifesting, but you know what I mean). I saw a picture of the green grass and blue sky that was synonymous with my feeling place (!), and made it my screen saver. During this time, I met my soulmate, got married, and moved because of his job, out of the city and into a beautiful house that he bought, with acres of green grass and a white fence! It even has an old laundry line (although I don't use it)! It blows my mind, still. Now I'm ready to do it again... :beautiful: ::hearts
