I am, I must say, an AMAZING manifestor, and I found the apartment I live in 1,2,3.  At first, it was lovely being back in Manhattan, and away from being upstairs from our landlord's screaming children and constant cigarette and pot smoke smell on our clothes, bedding and in our lungs. The super is great, my new landlord is great, I am the highest expression of my highest self here, and...(As I write, I start to feel better! HA HA you can't express gratitude without feeling good! Thank you, AH!)

I'm great at manifesting THINGS. Cars. Trips. Jobs. Songs people love, and ask for by name. Book deals. Music publishing deals. All this year. Paris. San Francisco. Last year, London and Paris.  And being PAID for it rather than spending. And this was BEFORE finding the vortex.

The cash?  A bit constipated. Thinking. Dreaming. Writing it down.  Opportunities knock.  One day they will lead to the physical cash.  The "things" still come.  But I cannot offer "things" to real estate agents. They require a check, for some reason, and won't take a chicken or a silo full of corn.

In the meantime, I have adjusted to being ok with living in this physical apartment until such time as I make the money to move to a bigger place with light, so much light that I need not wear clothes, so much light that I can get a tan lying on the couch. Light light light! Space space space! Happy happy happy to choose a place, rather than being chased out of where we are and scrambling to find new lodging!

I've painted the entire place in bright, cheery colors, we got a Christmas tree and put lights on it, I put  my desk near a window so I can experience a little sun, and here I am. It's not a dump. It's just got no light and it's in a dead neighborhood.

What I want, what I can taste, what I can feel, what I get excited about, is living on the Upper West Side, with its vibrancy, bookstores, coffee shops, restaurants, movies, diversity, Central Park.  I've lived there several times over the years, and remember how wonderful it was to step out your door into the beautiful chaos, the hustle, everyone there agreeing on some psychic level to be there in the thick of things. I frequently just go down there to walk around,  sit in coffeeshops and work and talk to people, browse its stores, eat in its restaurants.

The rents there are about $1500 above what we pay now.  To buy, you need at least 1.2 million.  Let's just say that money is in my Vibrational Escrow, and there's a good chance I'll get it this year if things continue to unfold.

But finding it hard to be continually hopeful.

Have you made a massive upgrade in your housing situation through LOA or any other means?

Have you been frustrated with waiting for the cash, and been showered with MORE than enough, rather than "just getting by" so you can live as you wish to live in this physical lifetime?

Do you have room for a piano and a concert harp? (Those two musicial instruments in my apartment are my measure of having plenty of room.)

Have you gone from anorexic apartment life to abundance, ease, natural flowing, joy?

Feeling joy and hope as I write.  Thanks for reading. :)

I just wanted to add that, 10 minutes after I wrote the above, I am back feeling joyful, hopeful, grateful, excited.

FYI! :)

Slowjam,

Just make the most of where you are right now, and in time the apartment or any other thing you want will come to you.

I actually ended up in the apartment of my dreams (LITERALLY) not even being consciously aware of how I was led to it. To make a long story short, I had a roommate that -most- people would cringe at, I had found myself up a creek without a paddle in regards to finding a new apartment, and there were a few times where I thought things would never work out for me.

Around the time this all started to conceptualize (This past September) I started reading Ask and it is given, and I tried out 3 of the exercises in the back of the book, Focus Wheel, The Prosperity Game, and my own computer version of the Imaginary Creation Box (A folder version on my windows desktop)

So I'd write and save pictures of all the stuff I want, including pics from google of the new place, as well as finding a few rare moments where I could appreciate my old roommate and apartment and well... here I stand in what I think is probably the most awesome dwelling I've had yet.

However, it goes without saying, contrast, just like manifestation, is -forever-, so there are some experiences I'm catching up to speed with at the new apartment in regards to my new roommate (who is an AWESOME guy btw). But when I go out and look at the view from my gigantic balcony with a full view of our gorgeous courtyard (at least gigantic to me lol) it makes it all worthwhile.

As you bask in the prospect of living on the Upper West Side I would encourage you to:

1.  Let go of the price tag/urban myth.  In Abe world there are plenty of available, affordable, even (dare I say) rent controlled apartments all over NYC--and one of them is yours.  I manifested a gorgeous, sunny 2Br apt. in a rent controlled brownstone on 7th Ave in Park Slope where I wanted to live for only $700mo.

2.  Let go of the timing.  Being conscious of the time it takes to manifest this dream will only muddle your vibration and split your energy.  You want to keep this particular vibe high and clear. Trust that the timing will be perfect, and it will be.

3.  Allow, allow, allow.  Appreciate where you are now, and what you have now and beautiful, affordable apartments will start turning up when you least expect it...

PS. Believing that you are an AMAZING MANIFESTOR is an awesome underlying belief.  If you believe you are, YOU ARE.

Best wishes....

:oars: I'm still learning how to fine tune my manifesting skills::LOL.  What I really really really want hasn't shown up yet, but what I think 'sure would be nice' has.

I have a friend that I used condo-sit for that lived in a beautiful high rise right off the lake.  He had indoor parking and a doorman.  I loved walking down to the garage getting into my warm car and just driving off.  No shoveling snow, no cleaning off my car, no waiting for the car to warm up.  I used to visualize that after I got my MSW, I would live somewhere in California in a building just like his.  For me, the point of the visualization was California, but I have manifested an apartment in a building just like his:beautiful:, complete with indoor parking and a lake front view.  I'm guessing I had very little resistance because it wasn't something I needed

I've also manifested a trip to Paris.  I leave tomorrow.  Again, I remember thinking it would be nice to go to another country in Europe.  ::chin

yes, i manifested a house. i am also a real estate agent (but the manifestation took place before i was an agent). i want to say on the mundane real estate agent level that there are always bargain properties in any area that would surprise you - maybe a tiny little bungalow squeezed between mansions. i does happen. so i would allow that thought.

on my manifestation, i simply wrote a list of desirable traits and then started the process of looking. i found it right away. my realtor tried to drag me away from it - my family wasn't crazy about it - but i knew it was right. it had all of the features i wanted and was affordable. and it was in a community where i would not have anticipated such a cute, affordable house could be. but it was there, waiting for me.

i called a real estate office and told the person who answered the phone that i wanted an aggressive agent . . . she said she was that agent and the rest is history.

i did also look at my list and think about what i wanted. i had a strong desire, as it sounds like you have.

good luck.

I am living in a house I didn't even know I wanted. Through a change in jobs I ended up working in an area that was so beautiful and tranquil and perfect I thought well it sure would be nice to live there. I very casually looked at places for rent and found an amazing house with views over the ocean and the bushland all for $30 more per week than what I was paying for my small apartment in a crowded area.

I had in my mind an area of the country I wanted to live....a smallish town, on the beach, chillled, great community feel, sunny, amazing view and the place I thought I wanted to move to was 8 hours from where I live now...

So I have found this amazing place 1 hour from the city with all the things I wanted and the realtor knocked $50 off the rent each week as it was coming into winter and others obviosuly didn't think to move to the beach during winter. Now rentals in the area are going for 30-40% more than what we are paying and the value of this place is over 1 million.

Don't think about all the details of how your fabulous new place will come to be...its all there waiting for you in vibrational escrow.

Hopefully Jaye (simple soul) will see your post and share her story.  I can't remember the post I read where she's shared it before, but if I come across it I'll link it for you.   It's AMAZING, and was really inspiring to me...  :beautiful:

Just keep your vision.

For now buy good air purifier and daylight bulbs.

Yes, harp will fit, and piano too.  Are you coming with them?:)

My husband kept the vision.

I have swans on my backyard. (I am not kidding!).

And it is NYC:)

My story is an example of the magic that can happen.....remember that when we are aligned, the Universe has endless tricks up its sleeve, so it helps to keep the mind open to all possibilities, known and unknown.

The story has many details, but the important part is I saw a sign for a house for rent, called the number and left a message.  In a couple of days the guy called me and said that there were twenty messages on his machine about the house.  I was about number eleven, but my message was the only one that was clear and slow enough that he could write down my information without having to rewind.  I went to look at it and it was just what I wanted (this was after seeing A LOT of what I didn't want in a house).  There are so many great things about my house and I have lived here happily for five years.

So my advice?  Do what you're doing AND enunciate! :)

much love,
molly

See, if I was in your physical shoes, I would run outside on warm spring mornings wearing my guitar and sing, "Swaaaan-eeeee, how I love ya, how I love ya/My dear old Swanee!

And I have manifested a great air purifier, really works well.  I should change my name to Mr. Manifest.

Thank yooooooo, FKTJ!

I have been trying to manifest an apartment in Harlem. I enjoy looking at pictures on craigslist and pretending I live there. I think about where I would put my furniture and how I would have rooftop parties.....Gets me kinda excited just talking about it but good luck!

B.Fresh, Harlem KICKS BUTT!  I spent almost every day biking or driving through it last summer, headed for the huge pool at the tip of 110th Street where I'd get my daily swim either at 7AM or 7:30 PM when there was almost nobody there.

What a wonderful summer that was, and it was before I attended my first LOA workshop with Jerry and Esther.  I just recall basking in that pool as the sun went down, feeling so happy and alive, eating at Dinosaur on West 125th Street, shopping at Fairway---which, if you don't know, is a supermarket with an amazing yummy variety of fresh foods, and I even saw "Dreamgirls" at the Apollo about a month ago.  One of my dearest friends lives there now, too.

I would definitely live in Harlem, and I wish you all the positive energy I can shoot your way to make it happen!

The words you used, "massive upgrade" are very telling. Words have no power in themselves of course but it is an indicator of your perspective, and THAT does have the power.

When something feels really different, really better, massively upgraded from where you are/what you have. This lets you know that your current view/perspective/vibration is very different from the vibration of the place you want to be.

When you are trying to work your way up the emotional scale you are always reaching for the feeling of relief. Relief indicates that a significant change in vibration has occurred. So, when you visualize your new home or millions of dollars, how you feel is important. Relief is a good thing, BUT if you feel relief as you visualize these things, this also tells you that the vibration of this wanted visualization is significantly different than the vibration you were at (are most likely at most of the time on this subject).

What you want to do is practice. You want your consistent day to day vibration to be a match to what you are wanting, and not what you are currently living. You'll know you're getting close to manifestation when visualizing the wanted thing just feels normal, and not like relief. If it's feeling like relief (which IS good) it means that you're still shifting vibration a lot when you go there.

So what that tells you is when you're visualizing you're feeling good, you're in the right vibration. But on average, day to day, you are not in that vibration enough. So when you DO visualize and go to that vibration the big improvement, the big change, is evidenced by the feeling of big relief.

When something is about to manifest, Abe calls the feeling, "the next logical step." It doesn't feel huge, massively different, life changing, it feels normal. Because you've practiced the vibration of it to the point where that is how you are feeling most of the time, so the manifestation or a visualization of the manifestation would not feel drastically different, massively better, big relief, it would feel the same as you usually feel. That's when you've got it.

Most people visualize money and they feel huge relief when they visualize. This is good but you also have to understand the fullness of it. It's "good" to feel that improved vibration. But it's not necessarily good to chronically have it stay where it feels like massive relief. That means you're dropping your vibrational frequency significantly when you're not visualizing it. Which is your clue that you're not in the vibrational place most of the time to manifest more money. You want the vibration of your visualizations to be the vibration you feel in your day to day life, then you're a match. Relief is good. But chronic relief (the way I'm meaning it here) is your indicator that you're not shifting your vibrational set point.

In other words, feeling good, feeling abundant, feeling prosperous, feeling free, feeling worthy, these are not supposed to be big relief feelings, they are supposed to be normal feelings.

So you just practice. Practice the vibration of abundance until that is how you normally feel. Then abundant visualizations and abundant manifestations would not feel or seem like "massive upgrades" to you. And it is only from that vibrational place that you can actually attract the previously viewed as "massively upgraded" situation.

You cannot attract that which feels different to you. You have to feel it first, and then it comes. Feeling like it's massively better or different than what is, shows you that you are not a vibrational match to it.

(the fact that it might be physical speaking very different is irrelevant, it has nothing to do with it, all things are possible, it's a non-issue. The fact that you FEEL it's drastically different means everything though.)

I am in the same house I was in before Abraham ( I have been learning about Abraham for about 1.25 years now—what a difference it has made!). It is the same house but improved (feels like massive upgrade!). We were already in a terrific neighborhood but our home needed some work due to deferred maintenance. Just now, in the middle of the holidays, we find ourselves with a new roof on, new soffits, gutters, new energy efficient windows, new French Doors in our current bedroom that open up to our enclosed bricked patio with koi pond, new hard wood floors in our “now” bedroom (we gave our Master Bedroom to MIL). Our new bedroom is a perfect shade of warm earthy yellow and it feels like a jewel box—just a week or two and it will be all completed for us to move back in.

We are right in the middle of the city which I love and blocks away from museums and blocks away from the down town area. There are lakes for me to jog around. There are palm trees, water oaks, magnolias in the streets. A mix of people—I adore heterogeneous groups. Oh and we only have less than 80K on the note left to pay, and my escrow holds the money to pay it off because, wouldn’t that be fun and I have already asked for it just to experience that joy of manifesting.

Just a year ago, I was having sheer panic at food shopping because of my then vibration was so low about dollars much less about finding dollars to fix up this wonderful home. Oh and the best part about this home is it is filled with art. Art, art, art in all the rooms, even the bathrooms. It is a perfect place to work, play, live and love and expand and make more art. It will do for now...until i expand and want different!

All of this is a direct result of putting to use what I learned from Abraham.
