Hi Leslie!!! Can't wait to see you in Australia!

I did ask Abe how come I always get in the Hot Seat at Phoenix in April 2010, they said because my expectation is there. My follow up question (of course) is okay, my expectation IS there, so how do I raise my expectation to manifest things where my expectation isn't there, it was a good answer too.

So my tip for getting in the Hot Seat is knowing that you're going to get into the Hot Seat, and expecting it. I'm pretty darn egocentric, in the best possible way *laugh*, and I truly think my questions are the best ones that could possibly be asked that day, and so I totally expect them to call me, and they do.

Though I agree with John also, that ramping up the excitement for your question works too. I did that at the first workshop that I got in the hot seat and I could feel the people I was talking with's excitement for the question, and then I got called, it felt like there was an energy behind it.

Hope you're awesome!...andrea

Do you not get a seat if you don't run fast enough, or something?

Ellen, I love your hot-seating through peer immersion approach. I bet you also remember how you felt in those precious few seconds before you realised Esther was pointing at someone behind you? How clever & playful of you to have allowed yourself a visceral experience of being picked as rehearsal?! ::bow

Yes, I do remember, and even as it was happening, I told myself this was practice to get me used to the feeling of being picked. So fun!

John, I used Abe's answer to you at the workshop this morning, about getting your feelings hurt by your partner. They said to become unhurtable. I told my husband that was my goal. This morning I got hurt, turned around and left the room and thought, no, I don't want to be OOV. So I went back and made a funny joke about how he should remember how hurtable I am! We both cracked up, and I was back in the vortex. Plus, it was so clear to me that he didn't hurt me. I did it all myself. Cool to see!

Thank you for your question! Answers are all around me, I love it. And I gotta add how fun it is to see you stepping right onto the stage with your long legs!

Ellen! Thanks for that tidbit!

Make our feelings 'unhurtable.'  Such a good reminder.

And Andrea! WE'RE GOING TO HAVE A BLAST, mate::LOL!!!!!!!!
And thanks for your answer! That makes so much sense--you feel like your question is THE BEST QUESTION! And honestly, you are right! You ask great questions.  I loved that interaction about you and writing a book with Dan.  Brilliant.  I CAN'T WAIT TO READ YOUR BOOK!

And Xception--Everyone gets a seat.  But to get the seats in the very front, it's best to be first in line.  It's silly, and they might find a way to discourage the practice, but for now, the running of the bulls is a hoot.

Hello Fireball - good for you!! There is nothing quite like the stampede down the tunnels that lead to the cruise seminar theatre, cheering as you run and then throwing yourself breathless (by this point) on to the nearest chair remaining to the stage...LOL...I never expected an Abe cruise seminar to start that way - always good to be surprised! It certainly stirs up the energy and fun vibe!!

For anyone that doesnt fancy that - there are plenty of other doors you can make a calm and more demure entrance. Like anything - we get to choose!!

::LOLEvey!

Ooh, I just counted my hotseat interactions: 9 times! Plus the dancing video::dancer::runmickey::singer::woohoo

Lately, I've stopped having burning questions, but I DO enjoy that feeling of being special, so I'm sure I'll get in again if I have a good question.  And Andrea's idea of feeling like "This is the BEST question!" is really a great idea.  As is John's thought of discussing it with others, and of course, hooking up to Source while raising one's hand.

Also, getting in twice in one day, wouldn't that be fun! Our dear Scott has gotten into the chair THREE TIMES in one day! Or was it one cruise? I can't remember.

Either way, it's amazing.   It's SUCH a lovely feeling of getting picked, and then sitting in the chair, it's just wonderful.  And recently, I listened to an interaction again, and the answers STILL totally resonate.

Life is just so good.
