Just a small story to share about how I got to this amazing place!

I was in a marriage that wasn't satisfying - in fact it was really unhappy. I didn't know anything about LOA at all, but to soothe myself and relax enough to sleep, every night I'd lie on my back and I'd reach for the feeling of love that I sensed was out there. I'd lie there and let love wash through me and fill me up. Then I'd be able to sleep.

I did that for myself every night for the last year of my marriage. Earlier this year for some reason I remembered that time and realised that I am filled with that feeling every day. The man who came into my life as my marriage faded away was calm, grown-up, sure of himself, demonstrative, loving, would do anything for me and is able to work through any temporary feelings of jealousy or anger without creating drama. Oh, and he has dark hair and blue eyes - a combination that makes me melt! aniheart

I fully understood, as I engaged with the teachings of Abraham, that he appeared in my life at exactly the right moment, and that he perfectly matched the vibration that I had created every night. I had no expectation at the time, I just knew that feeling that love made me calm and happy, and helped me to sleep. As soon as he entered my life, that little coping strategy was forgotten.

As I write this, we are preparing for our 22nd anniversary. We are so happy that we annoy our children immensely ::LOL::LOL.

This LOA stuff is soooo magic - just wanted to share!

Part 2 of that story is how I manifested a PhD (and not from one of the online 'universities' either!) ::LOL::LOL.

I wanted this impossible combination of a job that gave me freedom, challenged me, allowed me to set my own timetable, provided companionship, let me be alone lots of the time, had flexible hours, paid well . . . you get the picture?? I also wanted to be able to prove myself to be capable and clever. I had left school at 16, and had 2 kids by the time I was 21.

Knowing what I know now about LOA, I probably would do this an easier and faster way, but I believed at that time (about 15 years ago) that I needed to work for this job. However, my IB is pretty loud and I'm a good listener, so we started on the road of adult education.

It was simple - I put one foot in front of the other for as long as I felt inspired. My family all stayed healthy and happy, 2 more babies were born as my lovely husband and I built our lives, my teachers appeared on cue, course fees got paid, and at every point there were people telling me that I was on the right path.

Today I am playing at home, in the kind of house I've always wanted, working as much as I am inspired to, having just manifested a 6 week sabbatical this spring, and loving every minute of it! I am a teacher and a writer - those very things that I always wanted to be ::LOL::LOL. My work colleagues are also my friends, and my students are in my classes because I am the best teacher for them right now.

I am that person that people ask 'how do you do that?' - I am the irritating Pollyanna that is flowing and flying through life, and the only thing that has held me to a slower time frame and limited dollars is that I didn't know until this year just how powerful I really am. I still have some beliefs that will be cleaned up as they surface.

I'm expanding at an exponential rate now, so I know that the next logical step is almost in front of me. I suspect it'll turn up during the summer, but for now I thought I'd do some public basking and hope that my story might inspire some rockets of desire and vortex moments for y'all!!

I love this.  One of the biggest keys for me is to TRUST and wait until you feel inspired and then  it will feel like your next logical step.  I really loved reading your story.  You are a gifted writer.

Thanks so much for responding to my stories :kiss:.

Writing them was a lovely affirmation about my progress as a deliberate creator, and I got to that magic vibrational place of being so appreciative I just glowed, and at the same time knowing that more is coming. That's a fine edge to walk, without tipping into 'lack' thinking.

Love
